Eliza's world is thrown off-kilter when the library closes for renovation, and she's forced to find another summer job. She winds up working at the beachside carnival, selling tickets for the Ferris wheel. Here, she crosses paths with Jace, who operates the Ferris wheel. At first, Eliza can't stand Jace. He's everything she's not - reckless, carefree, and seemingly unambitious. However, as they spend more time together, she discovers that there's more to Jace than meets the eye. --------------- My first three part short story, now complete!
