People see me and only see someone the world gave up on. Before my parents death my dream was to be remembered for something amazing. Now at the age of 17 I have done some things I am proud of and some things that I regret (including being a prostitute for a little while). Jobs are hard to get when people see the crappy school you go to and see or hear the word foster kid. Many people I have come across just become bus drivers or garbage people, and many happen to use drugs. I am transferred from home to home every couple of months. No one truly wants to keep me, not that I am a bad kid or anything. Truly my one dream in life is to become someone important and prove everyone that once doubted me wrong. Authors note: This story will have many flashbacks about old moments from Zoey’s life. Some parts will be somewhat inappropriate (especially the parts about prostitution). Read at your own risk, this story is rated PG-13 although I will warn you if any parts are a little bit more mature. -Julie Denterman
