| A Percy Jackson and the Olympians fanfiction |
AJ Hood is a normal teenage girl, with average looks, ordinary abilities, and a regular life. Then she stumbles upon a mysterious summer camp in the woods of Long Island, and there she is told the truth: the Greek gods are real. Not to mention, she's a daughter of one of them, the God of the Sun. Apollo.
Unfortunately, the camp isn't pure paradise, and there's danger around every corner. Before she knows it, she's swept away on an unofficial quest with her newly-found siblings, journeying down the Eastern seaboard. From singing with goddesses of music in a subway station to fighting a two-headed serpent on the beach, they'll do anything to slay one of Apollo's ancient enemies and make their father proud.
But do you really need other people's validation to be extraordinary?
