SYNOPSIS: JOHNATHAN Never in my life did I ever think I'd be swimming under the rain, wearing my favorite white shirt tucked in my dad's jumper, running around playing tag as my feet touched the muddy grass, and most of all, creating this scene with you. I couldn't believe I let you fool me into running into the rain, away from the shelter of the bahay kubo we rested. Maybe it was because you were rarely spontaneous and when you do you get this glitter shimmering in your eyes. Anyone would get distracted. Anyone would follow your eyes. And without notice, I began to realize I've been following those eyes since the day they sneered at me. PATRICK You may not know this, no one will. But do you know how much pride I feel seeing you experience your firsts? Especially with me? Because I do. I adore how your eyes explore the world, every little detail you observe, every little leaf you see. After experiencing the warmth of your "Thank you" and your hand squeezing mine, how your nose wrinkled and cheeks tinted pink saying "that was a first" I soon realized why I was taught never to be greedy. Since then, all I could think of is how to fill your limited days with utter happiness. But the greedy side of me wants to fill you with blissful moments. Moments where I wish I had the courage to caress your soft cheek. Maybe it would've made a difference. Maybe I could've sent my message across. Maybe that could've save them the trouble of announcing my fiancée after the laughter we exchanged under the cold rain.
