Starling Glass and Joffrey Baratheon were a match made in heaven. Not only were they a perfect match by the standards of the nobles, but the two actually did love each other. Starling brought out the best in Joffrey, and she always put him in line when he got out of hand. The same thing goes for Starling. They grounded each other. Their parents had been close friends for years, and they were both part of the highest ranked houses in all of Westeros. Starling being in House Glass -the highest house of the North- and Joffrey being the Kings son. But as good of friends the two houses were, their parents refused to let them court. So they decided to see each other in secret. But one cold night, Icelinbay -home of House Glass- was attacked. The terrible news travelled to Kings landing, saying that there were no survivors. This enraged Joffrey, and he's never been the same since. What Joffrey Baratheon doesn't know though, is that everything is never as it seems. Death cannot stop true love, only delay it for a little while.
