Unlike the other Espers in the facility, Van was able to avoid discovery until his late teen years. After which, along with his sister, they were forcefully brought to the Alpha-Region headquarters to become soldiers for there part of the country. In all honesty, Van didn't give a shit. He didn't really have the best life growing up, and these people fed him well enough. Sure, they enjoyed testing him and experimenting on him, but being what he was, Van could get away with ignoring request with sarcastic remarks and ignoring basic duties. That is until Van unknowingly throws his sister right into the middle of the facilities twisted and cliched games, leaving him with no choice but to throw his quarter into the machine. With the help of his entitled and obxnious friend, an annoying ex-girlfriend who can't take a hint, and some really edgy white-haired chick with daddy issues; Van decides to fights the system in the hopes of saving his last surviving family member. But, even if he succeeds, is there any real point in escaping the facility?
