Riley Lane, an engineer working for the Weyland-Yutani-Corporation, is sent to a transport ship to accompany its passengers. 5 people total on board, excluding Riley. Days pass as the destination is a remote planet named LV-426. Her team is headed there to acquire materials for building and construction work back at 'The Colony' upon arrival they are confronted with the desolate wasteland, making their work quick they gather the materials needed and head back. Riley and her crew set back off to The Colony, unaware of an uninvited guest.
