Tales of the Niflheim Revolution: Revival

     I had a dream one night. I had a dream of what Niflheim was like thousands of years ago. It all looked the same as it does now, with its snowy fields and snowy trees and its iced lakes. It was a comforting notion, knowing that despite all that this land has gone through, it still remains unchanged.
     There were bits that were different. The towns and settlements I saw were much smaller than they are today, and there were no cities except for one. The capital of Niflheim, Frost. An apt name for a land covered in snow. Even in its smaller state, its grandeur was apparent at a glance. 
     And then there was the castle. The home of Niflheim's king. Our current king, King Veritas Alloman Niflheim, has ruled for the last two thousand years, so I expected to see him on the throne inside.
