Shawn can't seem to get over his best friend Kyle's tragic death in a car accident. He begins to dip into a vortex he can't get out of, his life is collapsing slowly. So his parents move him to another school, where Kyle's brother Caleb is supposed to help Shawn. But Shawn can't seem to shake up, nothing gets him to react. He starts to self-harm, to want to die too. Until Caleb really gets him to react.
