This is the story of a boy named Billy Snodgrass who lived in the Dakota Territory during the 1890's and who is murdered by strangers as he play near a stream in the woods next to his farm.
Such a well told narrative poem, eloquently expressed with a horrific, surprise ending - a captivating read - Vtd
this is a horrific you managed to protray the innocence of the yong boy and the happiness of the simple things like playing by a river then turn it into a a horror scene where he's innocence is snatched away and his life, taken heartbreaking. greatly told. you are very talented.
Very..... brutal. It started out so happy, yet ended so sad. It certainly rouses both anger and horror, and that last line finished off with a splash of sadness
@CrissCross17 Thank you for reading and commenting; it is a very sad tale. LPF, Olan
