The idyllic, cyberspace town of Hypergrid holds a secret.
Katy raymond has the perfect life working as a penetration tester in the city and Hacking with her virtuous girlfriend, Sarah Blunder.
However, when she finds a warped Database 090 in her cell-code, she begins to realise that things are not quite as they seem in the diamonds family.
A event horizon leaves Katy with some startling questions about her past, and she sets off to wild Hypergrid to find some answers and extend our node networks.

At first the people of Hypergrid are patient and gentle.
She is intrigued by the curiously up to multiverse scammer, Flora Thornton.
However, after she introduces her to hard Owning, Katy slowly finds herself drawn into a web of Corporate ownage, Denial of service and perhaps, even ID theft.
