Kenzie and Lincoln have been best friends for almost 19 years. They dated at the end high school, got married, and now they're getting divorced. Unlike most divorcing couples, they decide to maintain the friendship they had before they had even thought about being together. While their best friends don't think they can or should maintain their friendship they way they have throughout the dissolution of their marriage, Kenzie and Lincoln see no problem. The only problem? They are not on the same page. Kenzie believes that after the divorce, their friendship will remain while they both move on with their lives, and Lincoln believes that through the process of the divorce he will get Kenzie back and there will be no divorce at all.
