This is a one-chapter story, it was an assignment in English we had to write but we could only write 1,000 words so there's not much detail. I might make another chapter, with the same plot, and concept just a lot more detail and different wording. we weren't allowed to use real people in this story but I had the concept for a while and was desperate to use it for this, so the names have been changed. Joe is Joel Liz is Lizzie Jim is Jimmy Tay is Gem Pearl is Pearl (obviously) The shadow is Xornorth. The only characters shipped are Lizzie and Joel as they are married. The dragonslayers of the realm had slain the legendary Ender Dragon, heightening the power of a powerful, corrupting demon named Xornoth into full, unfathomable might. The eternal winter would slowly poke its tendrils inside of the world, extinguishing its warmth, and serve as the realm's veins, repudiating out the old, summer roots. Xornoth came to Joey Graceffa under the Enchanting Temple of the Jungle and offered him the Crown. This Crown was a reward for Emperor Joey's undying loyalty and for defeating the Ender Dragon and letting Xornoth be free to the world once more. Ever since Joey slid that Crown atop his head, he saw the world in a different perspective. A perspective even more corrupt than ever. His eyes became red. Violent red. Two citizens of the Lost Empire had sensed a shift in Joey's enamour for the devil. It was up to them to save their Ruler, and hope that in the end... Their Emperor would not be lost. Like the Empire he rules. This EMPIRES SMP work is a fanfiction story. I do not own these characters, these settings, and some of the plotlines established by the dear Minecrafts that play the SMP. I am just writing this for fun and to improve my storytelling as an aspiring fiction/fantasy writer. I am a huge fan of the Empires SMP, and I wanted to write my own fanfiction story that takes place in that world. This story takes place after the End Dragon War, and after Joey Graceffa, the Lost Empire ruler who is in love with the server's demon, Xornoth, had worn the given Crown that made his eyes red and made him more bloodthirsty than ever (Episode 17 - Xornoth Gave Me A Gift!) Some of these won't make sense if you are not following the series' entire encompassing storyline, and are not interested in the lore. And I guess I may have tweaked some stuff here for the plot's sake. And pardon if there are some painful grammatical errors and spelling mistakes in this story (English isn't my first language, and I'm still learning!)

The school held deep memories of the past. Some people called the school a myth, saying that only a handful of people had actually seen it. But if anyone tried to find it, it would disappear without a trace. Only those who accidentally stumbled upon it would never be able to see it again. The mystery of the school was something that few people knew, and even those who did would tell stories and spread rumours of its existence. In a separate dimension, gods controlled the fates of the people who lived there. The gods were known as The Watchers, who would play a twisted game of murder and betrayal with the mere humans they controlled. The gods were all-powerful and had the authority to create and destroy their own versions of the game, deciding the fate of all those who partook in them. In an alternate universe, a despicable demon named Xornoth had heard of these omnipotent gods who controlled the fates of the mortals in their own twisted world - The Watchers. So, Xornoth, fueled by his selfish desires, dreamt of joining their ranks and wielding their immense power. However, only one person could guide him to that universe to accomplish his goal. Unfortunately, Grian was not a part of Xornoth's universe to begin with, and yet secretly, he was one of the gods, a Watcher in his own right. In a small town, there were five teens, Jimmy, Joel, Lizzie, Grian, and Katherine. They all grew up together in this town and had heard the myth of the school and the watchers, but they never believed in such a story. However, one day, they decided to steal something and decided to try their luck. They ran as fast as they could, but they got cornered inside an alleyway. There was only one way out, so they jumped the wall and found themselves in a school!

But will these affections harbour tyranny? Or will they halt fear and treachery in their paths? With this new turn of events, the emperors can't tell who to trust. Anyone could be a traitor: A close friend, sibling, lover- and everyone is on edge. Will they be able to find the turncoats among them? Or will everything they've worked for be lost to time?

Fwhip is a Heron who was unwillingly recruited into a Kestrel scheme to find hidden treasure on an unknown island- which he would have gone along willingly to, if the unfairly hot Kestrel who had abducted him had only asked first! Sausage is a Kestrel looking for money and an excuse to spend time with the cute Heron he kept seeing (cough, cough, following) from afar. When his fellow Kestrel Joey gives him a map to hidden treasure, he pounces on the chance to gather a team and go after it... except he maybe forgot to ask whether said team wanted to come along or not... Oh well, the ship's already sailing, there's no going back now. What could go wrong?
