Relma Artorious grew up in the rural areas of Gel Carn, suspecting but not knowing her heritage. This story is part of my short story collection. Every month me and my friends take turns to come up with a prompt to a story. Some are very short, some a bit longer and some I might turn into a larger story later if I ever find the time for it. This was my entry of August 2025. This story is just sort of a rough idea for a future book. This story is about a boy named Elijah(me) who is going through WAY more than a boy his age should. Toxic relationships, divorce, suicide ,the list goes on. Rough times are ahead, and in the past for Elijah. Will he survive it all?

This story follows the journey of a rare Lupine-Type 4 hybrid-a boy with black-and-white fur and crystalline blue eyes-who is sold as a high-value "pet" to the city's most powerful man, known only as The Master. The Auction and the Bond Originally intended as the centerpiece of a high-society auction, the boy's innocence and rare genetic traits-specifically his blue eyes, which are a one-in-a-million mutation-shatter the Master's cold professional facade. When the boy asks for a simple teddy bear and chooses to hold the Master's hand rather than flee, a soul-deep mate-bond is formed. Redemption and Freedom On the fifth day, the Master discovers the truth through security footage, catching Elena mocking the boy's suffering. Consumed by guilt, he: Banish Elena from the estate forever. Nurses the boy back to health, officially declaring him his mate rather than a servant. Removes the iron collar, replacing it with a blue diamond pendant to signify his new status as the future mistress of the house. The story ends with the two of them standing together against a world that still views the boy as an asset, now united by a bond that no amount of gold can break.
