The Third World War has been raging for less than a year. The Earth is divided. War has changed. Humans fight in giant mechs - War Robots. The year is 2032. A small strike force of American soldiers make their way into a Russian mining facility. Their mission? Capture the territory. Eliminate all opposition. Secure a foothold on enemy soil. Little do they know that their actions will shape the battle that follows for years to come. They are not ready for what happens next. The war has just begun. A short story in four parts, a prequel to 'War Robots'.

A girl from 2030 and a guy from 2053 manage to communicate a dire message that may lead to the extinction of the world as we know it. With many obstacles in her way Carissa must carry out her mission but will a certain someone become a hinderance themselves? Will she be able to complete her mission to save the human race? The future sure hopes so.

Kyle Rogers is a pilot for the corporation SpaceTech. After being ambushed during a mission to find missing recon scouts, it resulted in the death of his crew and best friends, and Rogers began to question what the war is. His leaders, however, don't like the way he is thinking and strand him on Earth forcing him into exile. Hours after he is abandoned, he crashes into outlanders (Jad Parkes, Linda Cano, Adam O'Leary, and Sigrun Valka), who had left to Earth and never were seen since. After sharing his story to others, Kyle is desperate that he can convince other pilots to join him in his quest to find out what killed his friends and what started the war.

The people that were left behind on Earth after the cataclysm, start to adapt to their surroundings and make a new life out of it. When they did, things didn't go right as expected but worse than before everything it started. Some decide to stand and fight them but ended up outpowered by the enemies using the robots. But few brave people in Mars return to Earth to break the disturbing lies covering by their belonging mega-corporations, they decide to end it but there is one thing they didn't know what other things are happening to Earth. Meanwhile a group of exiled Terrans seek to reclaim Earth in the name of humanity and a great danger lies hidden on Mars...
