After my drop off, I went inside to investigate. Bodies were scattered around all over the waiting area. A real mess. It wasn't long before three cops showed up. Two detectives and a junior detective. I guessed they got the call too. The skinny one, Joseph, called me and the other guy, Sebastian, into the security room. The survivor looked to be part of the staff. He was muttering some crap when gunfire caught my attention. I turned toward the sound and got jumped by a guy who looked like he was fresh off of Frankenstein's table. That's when it all went to hell. As always I don't own Hellboy or The Evil Within, just this fanfic.

The Victoriano's are what most would call 'the perfect family'. Rich. Powerful. Sophisticated. The oblivious would even dare to call them happy. But they are far from happy. From within their massive estate, a powerful, sophisticated, and most certainly rich family does indeed make their home, but happiness is a lacked emotion in all of their lives.
