Laura Beach is a single women in her mid thirties who has put all of her efforts into a career and is now the second in command behind the owner of a fast up and coming financial research firm.
Their firm is on the cutting edge of creating algorhythms to forecast various fincancial indicators and the financial health of various markets.
Beach, however has not been so lucky in love and finds herself strangely attracted to her former co-worker and now subordinate Micheal Leon who is a tall handsome African American man.
