Woodland of
Parting reeds
Near thickets
Of wicker-worn
Pathways, a
Voiceless soul
Softly pleads.
Where paling
Green lights glow
And swell, floating
In young swaying
Postures of a
Songstress beside
The dell. Lightly
Leading footsteps
Into gothic
Marshlands of
Hailing hands,
Unearthing
Clawing nails
From lower
Lands. Enthralling
Well-trodden trails,
on to draining
Courage into
Droplets of
Waning life
Behind haunting
Veils. Glib eyes
Upon gusting
Gales whispering
To lure captive
Souls onto the
Distant dales,
Close to the
Hallows flooding
Silent lungs in the
Mist of emerald
Shallows.
