Three months and three days later
December 11th 2013
Ben and Allys one year aniversary.
Ben was sleeping peacefully besides you. Today was your one year aniversary and all you wanted to do was be with Ben but he was asleep. "Ben..." you tapped his shoulder "Ben wake up" you tapped his shoulder aggresively. The only thing you could think to say now was "Ben I'm pregnant."
He immediately shot up. "You're what?!" he said, all the color leaving his face. "I was kidding. Happy one year aniversary." you said with a giggle. "Oh my god Al. You almost gave me a heart attack." he said, putting a hand over his heart which was beating fast. "Sorry!" you said with puppy dog eyes. He smiled and said "It's okay. Happy aniversary." You kissed him softly, cupping his face with your hands. "I have a gig at 54 below tonight. I was thinking about singing 'Ballerina' and I want you to come." he said, his hands on your waist. "I wouldn't miss it for the world Ben." you said with a smile. He smiled and said "Good because I can't do it without you there Al." You giggled and said "aw you're cute. Wait isn't 54 Below kind of fancy?" "Kind of, why?" he said. "I'm gonna need a dress then."
"I'll go shopping with you since I know you hate shopping alone." he said. New York was very cold this time of year. There was snow everywhere and Christmas decorations, basically everything was magical this time of year. "Thank you, thank you, thank you." you said. The two of you were bundled up together in warm blankets. "You're welcome." he said with a smile. You got out of bed and said "I'm gonna go make coffee."
He chuckled and said "I'm going with you." Ben followed you into the kitchen. You put some water in the coffee pot and slipped a coffee filter in. "Hey Ben can you get some mugs?" you asked as the coffee was brewing. "Yeah." he said while getting some mugs. "Breakfast?" he asked.
"I'm not hungry yet." you said while staring out the window. "Hmm what are you looking at babe?" Ben said while sitting next to you. "Just the city. It's always so beautiful this time of year." you said while opening the window a little bit. "Yeah I guess so. It's not as beautiful as you though." he said while kissing your cheek.
"Coffees done" he said while walking towards the kitchen. He poured some coffee for you and some for him before coming back over to you. "Close the window it's cold outside." he said while sitting at the window sill with you. "No I like it cold." you said. "Well I'm getting blankets because I'm freezing." he said while getting up.
You smiled and said "Okay babe." He walked to the bedroom and came back with one of your blankets. He sat down next to you and wrapped the blanket around you. "I love New York" you whispered under your breath. "I love it too" Ben whispered. "Why are you whispering?" you whispered. "Because you're whispering." he responded. You smiled and said "That's cute." in a normal voice.
"Thanks I try" he said jokingly. "Well you don't have to try hard you're naturaly cute." you said.

-two hours later-
You and Ben were going shopping for dresses for you to wear at 54 Below.
"Should I do a short or long dress?" you asked Ben. "Whatever you want babe. I know you'll look good in anything. Or just nothing at all." he said with a smirk on his face. You slapped his shoulder and whisper/yelled "Save it for the bedroom Fankhauser!" He laughed and said "Okay fine."
You continued checking the store for dresses. You picked three out and then said "I'm gonna go try them on." "Okay I'll wait here darling." Ben said.
Dress #1
You put the dress on and walked out of the dressing room. "Do you like this one?" you said while straightening it out. He smiled at you and said "You look like a princess, princess." "I still have a couple more options though but thank you." "No problem babe." he said with a smile.
Dress #2
"What about this one?" you said while stepping out of the dressing room. Bens eyes went wide "You look gorgeous Ally." he stuttered. You walked over to him and kissed him. "Thank you." you whispered.
He smiled and kissed you back. "I still have one more dress." "I'll be here I'm not going anywhere babe." he said. You smiled at him and walked back into the dressing room.
Dress #3
"What about this one? I think my boobs look all weird." you said while looking at yourself in the mirror. "Your boobs look fantastic babe! You look fantastic darling!" he said while walking towards you. He put his hands on your waist, "You don't think it looks weird?" you said while looking at him. "You look amazing babe. You should get it." he said while lifting your chin up with his hand. "Really?" you said while smiling.
He smiled and said "Yes, you look gorgeous babe." "Okay I'll get it." you said. "You should get both." he said. "The first or second one?" you said while walking back into the dressing room. "The second one you can wear it around the house and on our second year aniversary." he said.
You laughed and said "Okay I'll get them both." "Look this ones even on sale it's meant to be." he said. "Like us?" you said with a smile. "Yes just like us." he said while holding your hand.
"We're meant to be." you said with a huge smile on your face. "We're meant to be baby." Ben said to himself with a smile.
You kissed him and said "Happy aniversary baby." "Happy aniversary darling." he said while holding your hands.
-at 54 Below-
You and Ben were hanging out at a table for a while. "Are you nervous?" you asked Ben who's leg was shaking nervously. "A little bit." he said. You smiled and said "I'll be right here Ben. Just look for me in the crowd. I'll be sitting front row babe." while putting a hand on his leg. He smiled and said "Ah I'm never gonna take my eyes off you." "So lots of nervous eye contact?" you said.
"Lots of nervous eye contact" he confirmed. "Next up Ben Fankhauser!" someone announced. "Ah go get your ass up there! You're gonna be great baby!" you said. You kissed him really quick. "Thanks" he said before getting on stage.
"uh hi I'm Ben Fankhauser. Um I wrote this song for my girlfriend Allison Lindsay. Happy one year aniversary baby." he said, making you blush. You smiled and mouthed "I love you Fankhauser."
He started singing the song he wrote you for your birthday. Ben was definitely the love of your life and your 'One'. He would hopefully be the man you would marry.
The song ended. "Thank you" Ben said as a man approached you. "Hey baby you single?" he said. "I'm Allison Lindsay as in the girl who this song was written for. Now if you'll excuse me I'm gonna go talk to my boyfriend." you said before walking away.
"Hey who was that?" Ben asked while ordering a drink. "Some creepy guy." you said while ordering a glass of wine. "What'd he say?" Ben asked. "He asked if I was single and I said that you were my boyfriend and then I kindly flipped him off." you said with a smile.
"That's my girl." Ben said while wrapping an arm around your waist. You smiled and said "I'm your girl?" "Well we have been dating for a year." he said. "I'm your girl." you said with a smile.
two short chapters in four hours I think that's quite an accomplishment considering I had a really crappy day.
