Hello Friends
I know you all are quite upset with me for not updating for almost a month.
I am really very sorry friends but I was not in right state of mind during this time. I lost 3 of my extended family members in the period due to Corona and was trying to pacify me. I used to read your comments to update but was not in mind to write anything. But now I am out of that phase and try to be regular with updates.
Once again sorry for the delayed update and now please start reading the chapter without any further delay. But don't forget to vote and write inline comments.
So here we go........
RATI: He is siddharth.... fiancee of Rashi...
Shilpa's and Ishita's eyes widen on this revelation and they looked between the two..... Siddharth's back and Rashi's longing eyes on him.....
Both were trying to understand the unbearable pain and hurt both the lovers were experiencing.......
Shilpa moves towards Rashi and held her hands in her. Looking deeply and sadly into her eyes she managed to say only one word ..... word that she herself knows will make no change in the situation or emotions both the lovers are going through right now....
SHILPA: (Looking into Rashi's eyes) Sorry.... (and left from there)
Rashi was looking at the retreating back of Shilpa when felt a hand on her shoulder. She looked at the innocent face of Ishita with large tears in her eyes.
ISHITA: (Sobbing) Will you ever be able to forgive our family?? Will you curse our already cursed life more??
RASHI: (holding her hands) No.... don't say like this..... I could I hate or curse you.... you are just like Ratika to me and I accepted you as my little sister with all my heart..... and mausiji..... she is just like mother to me.... I can never think of any wrong coming your ways....
ISHITA: I am sorry for what my brother has done to an adorable soul like you..... if possible please forgive him.... I know being a girl myself its wrong on my part to ask for this.... but please .... please forgive him .... (and ran away from there)
Siddharth and Rashi were the only ones left there.... both were looking at each other with so many unexplainable emotions in their eyes.... suddenly Rashi ran and hugged Siddharth tightly.
RASHI: I missed you... I missed you ... there was not even a single day when I didn't prayed for you to come and hold me in your arms.... I always wanted you to hug me take away a my worries from me.... I called for you in all my prayers.... please please don't hate me... I never wished to betray your love... I have not....(and cried loudly in his arms)
SIDDHARTH: (patting her back lovingly) I know .... I know that its not your fault .... I know you can never betray me.... I am sorry for my earlier behavior with you.... please forgive me my love..... I love you more than anything else in my life.... please don't apologize for something you haven't done..... don't make me fall in my eyes anymore......( and wipped tears from her eyes)
HALF AN HOUR LATER
Everyone was standing before Ratika who was lying on the hospital bed keeping her head on Rashi's lap hugging her stomach and crying miserably. Rati was trying to console both the sisters but seems like failed badly. She herself was not able to stop the fountain leaking from her eyes.
SIDDHARTH: (trying to tackle the situation) little munchkin (to Ratika) you know that you have not learned how to swim yet right??
RATIKA: (confusingly) yes I know... so??
SIDDHARTH: Than why you are hell bound intended to bring Niagara falls here?? (Suppressing his laugh)
RATIKA: (pouting innocently) You are very bad Bhai.... I hate you...
SIDDHARTH: Really.... great so now my chocolates and muffins are safe as you won't snatch them from the person you hate.... Right??
RATIKA: Dii (elder sister) see he is teasing me again....
And laughter echoed in the room seeing the bickering of two... for a moment they seems to happy family .... free of all worries. But that moment didn't last gor long.
They were given the information of Ranvijay's coming back into consciousness. Everyone was looking at each other but no one was able to move even a single step out of the room. Seeing reluctance of everyone's face Rashi nodded her head and proceed towards Ranvijay's room followed by everyone quietly leaving Ratika and Rati behind.
IN RANVIJAY'S ROOM
Shilpa was talking to doctor while Rashi was standing at the far corner looking at the floor. Ishita was sitting next to Ranvijay, helping him to drink water. His gaze was fixed on Rashi.... he wanted to say lots of things to her but don't have any word and courage to even face her. Rashi was fidgeting with her fingers when Shilpa approached her..... keeping hands on her shoulders she made Rashi face her.
SHILPA: I am always with you. If you don't want you need not to stay here..... no one can force their decisions on you anymore. Its on you to decide what you want to do, you have already suffered a lot without any fault but now, you have my back (patting her cheeks) I won't disappoint you
RASHI: (looking into her eyes) Thank you Mausiji... but I think it is not the time for all this.... Right now we need to think about Ranvijay's and Ratika's health. Rest can be taken care of later on.
Shilpa looked at her with shock in her eyes but didn't said anything and left the room with Ishita quietly leaving her alone with Ranvijay.
Rashi with determined slow steps moved towards his bedside table.... taking out prescribed medicines she forwards them towards him with a glass of water. Ranvijay was watching every action of her with full concentration....
RANVIJAY: Why?
RASHI: (looking at him confusingly) What?
RANVIJAY: Why are you doing all this?? Why are showing concern for me when you know that I don't deserve even a single percent of it?? Why??
RASHI: (keeping her head low) because I am not you... I cannot see Mausiji and Ishita broken like this.... They need you and also I am trying to pay of for the time you took care of me when I was not well.
RANVIJAY: Even when the reason for you been not well was me only!!!
RASHI: Stop talking and take medicines. You are not allowed to speak much (again forwards glass of water and medicines towards him)
Ranvijay silently takes medicine from her hand and keep that in his mouth but finding it difficult to hold the glass.... Seeing this Rashi moves close to him and helped him in drinking water. Ranvijay tries to look into her eyes to know what is going on in her mind but finds them completely devoid of any feelings. Rashi tries to move from there when he held her hand weekly to stop her. She looks at him in confusion.....
RANVIJAY: Will you ever be able to forgive me?
But before Rashi could answer him Ratika along with other members of family entered in the room. She was sitting on the wheelchair handling by Siddharth. She saw between both of them and then at Siddharth.
RASHI: (reaching Ratika) what are doing here?? You must be resting in your room. I was just about to come to you....
RATIKA: I know but I want to meet him (pointing at Ranvijay)
RASHI: (shocked) but why?
RATIKA: (without answering her she moved her wheelchair towards Ranvijay's bed) hmmm hello I am Ratika your real target.... Now as I am here before you will you please let my dii go from here without any obstacles??
Everyone became statue listening this.... No one was able to say anything. They had tears in their eyes and were feeling like someone has kept the heavy weight on their chest.
Ranvijay was feeling breathless listening to his sister. Once again we was ashamed of what he had done and was not able to meet eyes with a young girl sitting before him with accusing glare in her eyes. He was not able to say anything. Suddenly he felt a touch on his hand.... He tilted his neck and found Ratika puckering on his hand. He raises his eyes towards her face....
RATIKA: Tell me.... If I would have not been your sister than too you would have feel guilty like this or you may choose to continue with your sick games on the name of revenge even after knowing that the one you are giving punishment to is an innocent soul.
RANVIJAY: (A loud sob escaped his mouth) Stop it... Please stop it.... (Joining his both hands before her) Please stop it.... Punish me..... beat me... kill me but please don't say like this.... I am the biggest sinner in this world I wished to destroy the life of my baby sister.... I.... I became monster like him.... Like him I too destroyed a pure soul..... I don't deserve to live..... I am worst than that monster whom I hate with core of my heart.... Please Kill me.... Please.... Please....
With a sudden motion Ranvijay took out the IV drip from his wrist and with a great difficulty tried to take a run towards the open window to jump out of it but fall flat on the floor and was immediately engulfed by Shilpa and Ishita.
Ranvijay was trying to free himself from them but their grip was very tight on him. In the process Shilpa got injured and blood started oozing out of her hand. Seeing this Ranvijay stopped struggling and looked at her in shock. Suddenly a loud sound of slap echoed in the room that made everyone stunned.
Ranvijay kept a hand on his stinging cheek and looked at the unknown man glaring at him with bloody red eyes.
RANVIJAY: Who are you?
ISHITA: Bhai he is Siddharth....
RATIKA: Rashi didi's fiancée.....
And just like that one more bomb was dropped on him and he stared at Rashi unbelievingly....
Ufffff.... Done with this chapter finally..
It was really difficult to show emotions and feelings of everyone after knowing everything. But finally I have done it and I really hope I did the justified job. Please don't fprget to vote and comment about the chapter.
