Again, I didn't sleep well. I couldn't stop thinking about how to solve my problems and I only discovered one way to do this.
Before our class started, Atsumu appeared running in my direction
"KariKari, Samu said I'm trash, and Akagi agreed, tell me they're wrong" he whined and tried to hug me but I dodged him
"Miya, just curse 'em back, no need to get sad ATCHIM" then Atsumu got serious
"Are you sick? you should go home" I could hear Suna talking behind me
"No need to worry Miya and Suna, It's just a cold ATCHIM"
When our teacher arrived in our classroom, Atsumu left, then he asked for our homework again shit I'm fucked
"Miss Kyo, you didn't your homework again, I'm sorry but I'll have to call your parent later"
"Fine" It would be better if he talked with my mom, but she's never here in Japan, neither my grandpa, so she agreed that if something happens in my school they should call... Manami instead. She is going to kill me.
After the end of the class, a couple of minutes later I received a call... here we go. I left the classroom to answer, I know we would have a fight and this isn't going to be good...
*Time skip*
When my class ended we entered the gym, I was tired and bored... I talked with Manami about what happened and she didn't like the situation, I've been ignoring her messages since our arguing.
Kita was already waiting for me "Hikari, I know you're sick please go home"
"I told Suna It wasn't a big deal"
"It can get worst Kari, we can survive one day without you, don't worry" Aran approached us and spoke to me
"Yes don't worry KariKari, if something happens Yui is here to help" Atsumu tried to help, but it doesn't work, Ojirou and Kita angrily looked at him with a "Really?" face
"When my classmate told me that a manager was easy to replace I didn't thought that was true" I raised one eyebrow
"Kyo! What a wonderful day! Let's go play something" Yui happily said
"Not even in hell I would play with you"
"Kyo Hikari enough of your rudeness, she is being nice to you since the begging and you can't stop being bad with her! Go home now, no but" Kita scolded me "I give up, I don't want to try win this anymore, I'm tired..." I thought
"Tsk, fine, as you wish" I turned around to left the gym when I hear the coach calling me
"I didn't think the sin of pride would give up so easily to protect what is yours"
"It's a losing fight" I replyed
"For someone so smart you're being silly right now, where is all of your confidence" then I smirked
"You win" I turned to Yui's direction "You want to play so badly with me? Fine, but I'll only play with my 100%, you'll play with the boys at their practice and if Kita said that you can play 1x1 with me then it's settled but if he says no, forget it" then I left the gym.
She agreed immediately, of course, she would.
3rd Person P.O.V
After Hikari left the gym, the boys were worried about her, they never saw her so serious. a couple of minutes later the gym's door opened again, but the person who entered was... unexpected.
"Good morning, WHERE THE HELL IS HIKARI" it was Manami
"Hey, you're Kari's best friend, right? Something happened to her?" Suna asked
"That little piece of shit is not answering my calls neither my messages, where is she?"
"She just left" Kita spoke
"Why is she like this?" Osamu asked what was happening "She... avoid me when she most need help, I don't know what to do" Nami sighed "We had a fight"
"But it isn't normal..?" Atsumu said
"Not for us. We always have arguments and we hit each other, it's true, but in the end, we ever come back to normal, this time..." she started to cry "she just ignores me and hanged up in the middle of the conversation"
Then, they heard another sound of someone entering the gym, It was Kyo.
"Nami enough of crying, let's go home." Manami ran in her direction
"Hikari don't forget your promise today you're going to play with your 100%~" Yui teased, Kyo cleaned her best friend's tears
"What the fuck Kari, you can't-" her voice was raucous
"We can talk about this at home, let's go, now" and they left again.
The boys were too much confused about the situation...
When the practice ended, the boys went to get changed and Hikari comes back with Nami.
Hikari's P.O.V
"I hope you're ready for our game today, your captain, Lilian, would be proud of you"
"So you know who I was since the begging?" Yui smiled
"Of course, I don't forget who I played with, I know what you want from me"
"Yes you're right, my captain sand me back just to be able to fight with your 100%"
"You know it's so stupid to believe if you play against me with my 100% you would become the best player of U.S.A, you captain tried and she don't even won" I looked at her back to see the boys coming in the gym, I was about to ask to Kita his decision but Yui continued
"WHO CARES? IF I HAVE TO COME BACK TO THIS STUPID SCHOOL JUST TO PROVE TO EVERYONE THAT I'M GOOD IN VOLLEYBALL, I'LL DO THIS"
"So that's why you're here?" Suna asked with his arms crossed he clearly looked mad
"G-guys that's not what I meant"
"Don't even try to fool them, I recorded everything" Manami said and I looked at her impressed
Osamu asked me to tell the whole story
"Well summarizing, your friend here is a member of volleyballs' team, her captain Lilian hates me from the bottom of her heart. There is a rumor in America if anyone defeated me while I play with all my power, this person would be able to take my place in the team. That's just a stupid myth of course, but even so, Lilian sent Yui here to tease me and make me play with her"
"Why don't you told to us earlier?"
"You didn't listen to me? Hikari is so dumb that she can't ask for help and be able to communicate in situations like this. That's why we had a fight. I didn't want her to forgive you and wanted her to quit the team 'cause you were doing a terrible job was teammates but she didn't want to. That's was the first we don't agree with something until the end" the boys listened to Nami with their heads down
"Now, Kita what's your answer? She can play against me?"
"No, she can't" then Yui looked at him with rage "I know that Hikari don't play with her 100% with us, but you did, It was not even close to what Sun can do"
"You don't know nothing, SUN COME HERE NOW AND PLAY WITH ME"
"Let me tell you something, you were the first girl who really makes me pissed, you almost made me play really serious with you, not because you're desperately trying to prove something that you don't have, but because you were messing with my team because of me, AND I HATE BEING A PROBLEM TO THEM." now she was quiet and afraid
"Listen, I'm going to tell you this once and you're going to repeat this to everybody in America, if someone wants to play with me, fine, I accept, but if they try to use my team as a way to hurt me I'll show no mercy" and she ran away, the boys and Manami looked at me perplexed
"Geez sometimes I forget that you can be so scary" Nami teased me "Don't you guys have anything to say?"
"Were you really going to play against her?" Atsumu asked
"THATS NOT THE MOMENT" the rest of the team scolded him
I laughed "Yes, I would, I even brought clothes to play, oh before I forget, here is your T-shirt Suna" they were confused
"Where is your T-shirt?" Nami spoke
"Oh, I burned it, Suna use the same number I used in my team so I would use his" they nodded "Okay, let's go home guys"
"Before you go Hikari, please accept our apologies, also I'm sorry for scolding you today, next time you feel that something is wrong don't hesitete to tell us"
"Me too, I can be too stubborn if I want" I smiled
"Please, prove to me that I was wrong about you guys..." Nami said and we left the gym.
But the boys still felt that there was something to fix...
