"I'm telling you this would be so much fun," Sean insisted.
"But people," Alice whined.
"It's been four days, your social battery has be somewhere near full by now," He chuckled.
"But peeeeople," She repeated.
"It's a proximity, hide and seek, Among Us game, it'll be so cool," He tried to convince her. "Corpse asked if you could playyy."
"Now you're just lying to me," She scoffed.
"I'm not! Corpse really asked if you would play! He wants to be your friend but he's a very anxious person," Jack explained. "He's like you!"
"Why does he want to be my friend?" Alice asked, confused.
"Well they all sort of want to be your friend, They all thought you were really funny but you kinda give off intimidating vibes, they couldn't tell if you liked them or not," He laughed.
"I did," She frowned.
"Then you should play today!"
"What time?" She wondered. It was 10am now, but Alice was always awake early. She could never manage sleep in late.
"Uhhhh," Alice could tell he was thinking about the time zones. "Like 11:30ish?" Alice thought about it.
"Finnne," She caved.
"Yes! Alright, I'll have to show you how to download the mod and stuff but it's pretty easy," He assured.
"Alright.." Alice sighed and booted up her computer.

After a long process of Sean's terrible explanations, she finally got the program installed and working.
"Okay, nice. I'm gonna start stream and join but you can join whenever, it'll take a bit for everyone to come in so you're good," Sean explained briefly.
"Cool, I'm gonna grab food and I'll join in a bit," She told him.
"M'kay! I love you!"
"I love you too," Alice chuckled as he hung up. She left her monitor to get lunch and explain to Techno what the plan was.

"We have a tenth player right?" PJ asked. The Among Us game consisted of Jack, Pewdiepie, Corpse, Dave, JaidenAnimations, JonasFisk, RoomieJoel, PJ, and Alice.
"Yeah, she'll be here in a minute," Jack assured his friends.
"Is it Alice?" Corpse asked hopefully. He only spoke a little with the girl but she was honestly funny and chill to be around.
"Yes Corpse, I convinced her just for you," He answered.
"Who's Alice?" Pewds asked.
"Shes my cousin, I told you before stream who she was!" Jack exclaimed.
"Yeah, well I stop listening when you start talking," He quipped.
Alice joined the discord to Pews saying that.
"Amen," She stated.
"Alice!" Jack shouted incredulously.
"What Jack, you gonna yell at me for amening ?!" She said aggressively. She wasn't shouting, she was just in a mood. She and Techno had a long talk about anarchy after Sean hung up.
"Yeah, you can't tell at her for amening, have some manners Jack," Someone said while the others laughed at his expense.
"Hi Alice," Corpse greeted after they calmed down.
"Hello Corpse, how're you," She joined the lobby.
"I'm pretty good, how about you, is your social battery charged?"
"Yeah, yeah it's pretty okay," She chuckled.
"Oh yeah, you literally responded with 'bUt PeOpLe' when I asked you to play with us," Jack mimicked her voice.
"Hey there's nothing wrong with that answer," Corpse defended as the others laughed.
"Oooh is Corpse simping?" Another voice said, Pewds from what discord showed.
"Definitely," Corpse answered making them laugh yet again.
"What can he say? We're cousins, gotta simp for us both," Jack laughed.
"Exactly," Corpse chuckled while Alice blushed from the simping jokes.
"And now we've made Alice silent for the next few minutes," Jack muttered.
"Oh fuck off," She muttered back causing the group to laugh again.
"Alright, Jaiden you can start it," Sean chuckled.
The game started with Alice as a crewmate.
"I'm imposter!" PJ exclaimed, "You guys better hide quick."
The rules of Hide and Seek Among Us were pretty basic. The imposter was the seeker and they had to kill the crewmates before they completed their tasks. They couldn't report bodies or anything. Proximity made it so you could hear players in their area.
"Go, go, go!" Jack ran off. Alice rolled her eyes and went off to medbay.
After completing medbay, she went into the decom. Corpse happened to join her.
"Oh...hello," She greeted awkwardly.
"Hi," He replied. "How's the game so far?"
"Uhm, i-its pretty good," She answered. "Still alive..so that's cool." He chuckled.
"Yeah..hey sorry if I made you uncomfortable, I won't make those jokes if you don't like them," He offered.
"No it's okay, I don't mind. I just get embarrassed easily, sorry to worry you," She said quickly. Her face was red from trying to explain. She didn't mean to make him feel anxious for making her anxious.
"Wait don't apologize cause now I feel bad for asking!"
"Sorry!"
"No!" He started laughing and she soon joined him. "We're both so socially anxious, it's painful."
"Yeah..." She trailed off.
"Helloooo," Jack yelled, his character joined the specimen room soon after. "Oh! Corpsey and Allie, my two favorite people."
"Awe thank you Jack," Corpse chuckled.
"Jackass," Alice muttered while walking away. She could hear Jack yelling in the distance. She went through the decom to see the PJ guy. She stopped in her tracks. "Oh...hey."
"People in there?"
"...Yes?"
"Who?"
"Jack and Corpse?"
"Thanks for the intel, I'll leave you alive so I can kill Jack," He walked passed her into decom.
"Uh, thanks," She walked away. Streamers were so weird.
The game continued basically in the same way. It was all jokes and such, Alice ended up having a lot of fun.

"This was awesome, thanks for playing guys!" Dave said.
"No problem," Pewds replied. The group said their goodbye to each other.
"Bye Alice," Corpse said happily when it was only her and Jack left.
"Goodbye Corpse," She matched his tone.
"Oh my god, you guys are gonna be best friends," Jack said excitedly. Corpse starting laughing.
"You're like a mom," Alice chuckled.
"I am! I'm like a step mom! My two kids are getting along, they're gonna be great friends!"
"Only if she wants to be," Corpse said.
"I'd love to be friends," Alice smiled.
"This is so cute in a wholesome sort of way," Jack awed making Corpse giggle and Alice smile. "My whole chat is awes."
"Follow Alice on twitter so we can force her to play with us more, Jack tweeted her username," Corpse advertised.
"How many followers do you have right now," Jack asked her. She grabbed her phone and opened the app.
"92.7k...what the hell," She sighed.
"Bet you could have at least 150k in a couple days," Jack chuckled.
"Yeah our community goes a bit over board," Corpse agreed.
"Thanks for the warning," She chuckled.
"Yeah, no problem," Jack snorted. "Okay, bye guys I love you!"
"Love you," Corpse responded.
"I love you Sean," Alice said. "Jerk," She muttered once he left.
"Oh no," Corpse chuckled.
"He just has to tell people when I get embarrassed," She sighed jokingly.
"Yeah, that's Jack," He agreed.
"Thanks for the game," She said.
"No problem, I hope we can play more," He said hopefully.
"Yeah of course, we're best friends now according to Sean," She snorted.
"Yeah, yeah definitely. Well, I'll talk to you later then," He chuckled.
"Yeah, bye!"
"Bye bye," They left the call. Alice hoped she and Corpse could be friends. He seemed like a good person.

Alice closed the app and pulled her knees up to her chest. It didn't feel fair to join the smp when she didn't even stream, but on the other hand it would be fun.
"Aliccce," Techno walked in and fell down on her bed. She rolled her eyes but smiled. She spun her chair around and got up.
"Technooo," She flopped down next to him.
"Did Dream message you," He asked.
"You knew?" She gave him a look but he just shrugged.
"I don't know what you're talking about," He looked away. "What'd you say?"
"I told him I'd think about it," She answered.
"You didn't say yes?"
"It's an smp for streamers and creators. I'm neither and I'm not becoming one," She explained. "It doesn't feel fair."
"You've got your own twitter fan base. And Advertise Alice was trending cause of Corpse," He informed her.
"You're kidding," She sighed.
"You've got like 108k followers and you have one tweet," He chuckled. "You're basically a creator."
"I'm not though."

"He shows love through violence," She turned to look at him. They kept eye contact for a few seconds. He looked back at the ceiling. "You get used to it."

"Yeah, you are weird," He agreed and she snorted.
"You're such an ass sometimes."
"Yeah, I know," He chuckled. "Please join, it'll be fun I promise. You can leave if you want to, we can make up some excuse."
"I'll think about it," She replied. He raised an eye brow. "Really, I will."
"Yeah that's what you always say and then you ignore the decision until people stop asking," He called her out.
"I do not," She muttered.
"Sure," He didn't believe her.
"He sent me the discord invite."
"You're gonna stare at it for hours," He dead panned.
"Yeah."
"I'll bring you dinner so you can stare at it longer," He sighed.
"Thanks," She said through her teeth. "You are such a great friend."
"I'm fantastic," He agreed and sat up. "Think about it, I think you'd have fun and you could rule the Antarctic with me." He patted her knee and stood up.
"Appealing," Alice sassed.
"It's very appealing, you could like...be an Ice empress or something," He shrugged. "Just don't be indecisive this time. I won't die if you don't want to join, but I think it'd be fun." He left.
Alice let out a deep sigh. It probably wasn't that big of a deal. She could just...say yes or no. It wasn't that hard. Right.
