*Bri POV*

"Come on people!! We have to leave in an hour, and half of you guys aren't even dressed!!"

I was trying to get everyone dressed and ready for my mom's rehearsal dinner, which was kinda pointless on my part.

"Hey Bri? Is it okay if I get ready in here with you?.."

I turned my head and saw Tristyn peaking through the door way. We had a long talk a couple days ago, and I guess we are somewhat okay now.

"Yeah sure, I actually need help with finding what to wear."

I was touching up my make up as tristyn walked to my closet to find a dress I could wear.

"How about this?"

She pulled a plain navy blue dress and matching heels, holding them up for me to examine. I remembered I got it at New York but haven't found the right time to wear it.

"That's perfect, thanks."

I slipped on the dress and the shoes, asking Tris to zip me up. She slipped on her black dress that hugs her curves perfectly, a gold belt around the waste.

"Can you do my hair? I don't know what to do with it."

Tristyn came up behind me as I sat on my bed, letting her do whatever with my hair. She ended up putting it in a elegant bun with a few curls to frame my face.

"Thank you."

I got up and brushed my teeth, putting on my red lipstick and diomand earrings. I slipped on my promise ring Cameron gave me, admiring it like I always do.

"You are really lucky, Bri."

I turned around and looked at Tristyn, waiting for her to explain what she meant.

"Just, promise me you won't let Cameron go? I care about you both and I know you both love each other. It was awful for everyone when you guys broke up.."

"Yeah.. I love him, Tris. I really do."

"Then why are you leaving?"

"What do you mean?"

"I know you applied for NYU. I saw the acceptance letter on your shelf when I came in here looking for that book."

I looked down, fidgeting my feet as I twirled the ring around my finger.

"I have to do something with my life Tristyn."

"So you're just gonna leave Cameron again?"

"But I was thinking that maybe-"

"Maybe what? That he can move with you? You know he wouldn't. No matter what he will never stay away from home and his mom."

There was a knock on the door and I turned my head and saw Cameron walking in looking like a lost puppy.

"Uh... I kinda need help with my tye.."

I let out a small laugh as I took a deep breath and walked over to him, grabbing his tye and putting it around his collar. Tristyn walked out of the room, making me let out a breath and rest my head on Cameron's chest.

"What's wrong, baby?"

"Huh? Oh nothing, just nervous about this whole wedding thing."

"Hey, we've talked about this, it's gonna be fine. You have me."

He lifted my chin and gave me a quick peck on the lips.

"You look stunning by the way, I love your hair like this."

I looked back down and glanced at the promise ring again, looking back up at Cameron.

"Let me just grab my purse and we can leave. I'll meet you downstairs."

Cameron left and I was alone again in my room, and I slowly walked over to the shelf. I went in between the two books and pulled out the folded piece of paper. I picked up my purse as I opener the letter and started to read it again.

"Bri you coming?"

I shot up as Cam came back in, making me fold th letter back quickly and stuff it in my purse.

"Yeah, sorry, I'm coming."

"What was that?"

"Just the speech I've been working on for the wedding."

"Oh, okay, well we are all in the car."

"I know, sorry, I'll be down in a minute."

I grabbed my purse and put on some perfume, closing my door and meeting everyone in the car. Well I guess cars, since we have to take like three.

I let Cameron drive my car, since I'm too distracted to drive. My phone buzzed and it was a text from tristyn, and I looked up and saw her looking at me through the rear view mirror. I unlocked my phone and read the message.

"From: Tris

You have to tell him, Bri. You can't wait much longer."

I sighed and locked my phone back, not bothering to reply as we drove to the venue.

Once we reached the place where everyone will go after the vows and "I Do's", we all piled out of the car and inside. It was a big open spaced beach house, the colors all white and pretty as everything practically shined because of the sun coming through all the windows.

"I'll meet with you guys later, and please be on your best behavior."

They all laughed and rolled their eyes as I heard a couple "yes mom", making me laugh and walk away to find my mom and Jordan. They were sitting at a table by the window that looks out towards the ocean and where they will be tomorrow announcing them as husband and wife.

"Mom, you look amazing!"

She had a light pink dress on, her usual dark brown curly hair is straightened. I love how my mom wears little make up, she has true beauty.

"Bri, oh my gosh you look so beautiful."

She got up and hugged me, kissing my cheek as she lead me to my seat next to her.

"Hi Bri, you look stunning."

"Thanks Jordan, you don't look bad yourself."

He smiled and grabbed my mom's hand, seeing her smile at him and turn back to me.

"So how are you and Cameron?"

"I guess you could say we're good, I don't really know where he ran off to."

"What do you mean you guess?"

"Okay, just please don't freak out and tell anyone."

"Bri, what is it? Briana Grace if you are pregnant-"

"NO!"

The room got a little quieter as some people starred at the table, and I smiled and waved at them. Slowly turning back to my mom as everyone went back to normal.

"No I'm not pregnant. I actually got accepted into NYU."

"What?! When?!"

"My acceptance letter came in two days ago.."

I pulled it out of my purse and handed it to her. She immediately opened it and read over it.

"Bri.. I'm so proud of you!"

"Thank you.. But no one else knows, besides Tristyn."

"Why doesn't Cameron know? This is huge!"

"Exactly... I have to move across the country again but I can't afford an apartment. You know how long it took me to move to Miami."

"Yeah-"

"I'll help you with payments. I am the boss of a pretty huge successful company."

"No, Jordan, you don't have to."

"I want to. It'll make you and your mom happy and that's all I want."

"But I don't wanna leave Cameron.. Or anyone again.."

"But it's for college! What will you major in anyway?"

"English. I wanna be a journalist."

"You have to do it Bri.. It's such a good opportunity for you."

"But money wise.."

"Hey, I said I got it, okay? I promise I'll handle that. I have to go up there for a business trip in a few weeks, the three of us can go up and you can look for apartments and go look at the campus."

"Really?"

"Of course, we are pretty much family now."

We started planning and talking about the trip until it was time to try all the foods that will be served tomorrow.

"Will you excuse me? I need to find Cameron."

I placed my napkin on the table and went around the place looking for him. I saw Nash and walked up to him.

"Hey, where's Cameron?"

"Uh.. He said he was going to go find you?"

"When?"

"Like.... Almost 40 minutes ago."

"Well I haven't seen him since we first got here."

"Have you checked upstairs?"

"What's upstairs?"

"Um.. Bathrooms, a bar-"

"A bar?! Fuck."

I walked away and looked for the stairs, taking off my heels so I can run upstairs as fast as I could. There was a butler guy standing on top of the stairs when I reached the top.

"May I help you, miss?"

"Have you seen a guy with brown hair that's kinda long and spiked up with a black suit?"

"There is a lot of brown men with black suits, miss."

"Looks around 20-21?"

"Oh yes, he walked to the bar which is to your left."

"Shit.. Oh sorry, um, thank you."

I slipped on my heels as a sped walked towards the bar, I saw a couple people who knew my mom or worked with Jordan and I gave them quick smiles and hellos as I reached the bar. I looked around in the lightly dimmed room and spot Cameron at the bar. I marched up to him, seeing him down scotch.

"Cameron, what the hell?"

He almost choked on his drink, looking at me with wide, glossy eyes.

"Uh.. It's juice."

"I thought you quit drinking!"

"Why didn't you tell me you were leaving.."

His drunk state made this situation worse, as he looked at me with sad eyes and kept hiccuping.

"Cam-"

"When were you gonna tell me? Huh?! When?"

"Let's talk about this somewhere else.."

"No."

"Cameron please."

He downed the rest of his drink and stumbled out of his chair, walking to the elevator which i wish I would've found earlier. I drug him outside and we walked down the small boardwalk that led to the beach. Once we started walking on the beach, he stopped me.

"Why do you keep leaving me.."

I looked at him and the sunset brought out a lot of his facial features. Sadly, it showed me the sad look that I hate to see.

"Baby, I'm not leaving you-"

"Bull shit!! When were you gonna tell me? Or were you gonna leave me a lame ass note saying you moved and not telling me where? You keep leaving. Why can't you just stay. Is it me? I gave you a promise ring and everything... We promised eachother-"

"To love eachother. I still love you Cameron and don't say or think I don't. I love you with everything in me and I haven't told you because I was scared to leave again. But it's just college, I can visit-"

"No. I'm not seeing you just on holidays. I wanted us to move in together. Start our own lives. I've even been looking at apartments but i guess I should stop. I know you are doing this for you. But I'm not waiting here. Because I know you will graduate and become successful with a good job in New York and I'll be here. I'm not waiting to see you on only Christmas, or Thanksgiving, or other special occasions. I want you here all the time and I don't care how fucking selfish I sound. I love you but if you're leaving, I'm not going with you."
