Jen and Brad have yet to pick a colour scheme for the wedding. They want to send the invitations out soon but they want them to match the colour scheme. They have it narrowed down to two colours... silver and pale green.
Jen is sitting at the table staring at the colour swatches in her hand. Whatever colour they pick must go well with the colour white as that's obviously an important colour for a wedding.
"So what colour are you thinking about baby?" Brad asks as she's still staring hard at the colours in her hand
"I'm leaning more towards the pale green colour. It's not a colour you see at weddings very often and I like that. Plus with my bouquet of flowers I want, it'll be easy to incorporate pale green into it"
"That's what I was thinking too. I like the pale green colour"
"So... that's it. We now have our colour scheme. We can start designing and printing our invitations" Jen says excitedly as she ticks one more thing off their to-do list.
"How many bridesmaids are you having?"
"I'm having two. Courteney and Kristin. Dre is going to be my maid of honour so she'll wear a slightly different dress to the other two. I've still yet to ask them if they'll be apart of the wedding. I was thinking maybe we could throw a dinner party and then I could ask them. Who's going to be your best man?"
"That sounds good baby. I know how much you love to throw a party. I haven't chosen a best man yet but I will soon so don't panic"
They are both getting a little tired from all the wedding planning so they decide to go and lay out by the pool. Jen gets changed into a pale blue bikini whilst Brad sticks to his usual black swim trunks.
(Brad's P.O.V)
We are taking a break from wedding planning and are relaxing by the pool. Jen is laying out in full sun hoping to catch a tan... which she definitely will because all she has to do is look at the sun and she's lovely and tanned... me on the other hand takes ages to tan... "Jen lets go for a swim" I say standing up and putting my book down

"Brad... I've just got off the phone to Court and her and David have invited us over for a few drinks. What do you say?"
"I say let's go... we've done enough wedding planning for one day" Brad replies and he gets us both of our coats.
We take a short walk over to Courteney's as she only lives two houses away from us. I open the door and let us in. Court doesn't mind that I just walk into her house because we've always had this agreement that her house is mine and my house is hers. I hear voices coming from the kitchen so we head straight there. I see Courteney making margaritas and David is putting something in the oven.
"Hey guys" I say as we enter the kitchen
"So glad you're here" David says as Court makes her way over to hug me and Brad
Courteney pours us all a drink and she leads us out onto the deck. I'm thinking about maybe just asking Court if she wants to be my bridesmaid now. I mean it makes sense since we are here, together so why not. I whisper to Brad and he gives me the go ahead to ask her.
"So Court... I was wondering. I mean you know we're getting married next year... would you like to be my bridesmaid?" I say smiling at her hoping she's going to say yes
"Jen are you serious? Of course I would. I'd love to be your bridesmaid" Court replies standing up to give me a huge hug
"I was hoping you'd say yes. Now I'm even more excited" I sit down cuddling back up to Brad
We stay chatting about the wedding and other things before it's time for Brad and I to get going. It's pretty late and we both have to be up early for work tomorrow. We say our goodbyes and we take a nice walk back home.
As soon as we get home I go straight upstairs and take my clothes off, getting changed into some really comfortable pyjamas and Brad does the same just stripping down to his boxers. We both climb into bed and Brad puts his arm around me pulling me close to him until my head is resting in the crook of his arm and my hand is laying on his chest.
