(Third Person P.O.V.)
Luke and Zander had been best friends for a very long time, ever since they were about 5. This is how they met and how they came to be more than best friends
(Luke's P.O.V.)
I sat silently with my back against the tree reading a book about werewolfs, people say their dangerous, but it sounds to me that they just make that stuff up then pass it down, becuase they don't like different people or things
All of a sudden I hear a twig crack, I close my book and stand up
"I-Is anybody there?" I ask
I wait for a moment, then spot a little boy step out of the bushes. I examine him for a second, he had black purple hair, lavender eyes, and was wearing a t-shirt with suspenders, and black pants and shoes. Then I realize that he's a werewolf! I also notice that his hand is injured
"Do you need help?"
The boy slowly nodded, I started to approach him, but he took a step back and fell. I walk towards him and see that he was shaking
"Its ok, i'm not going to hurt you" I kneel down beside him and hug him
The boy flinches, but doesn't say anything and just nuzzles his head into my shoulder
"Do you trust me?" I let go of the hug and hold his other hand
The boy's cheeks turn a little pink, he nods at me. I walk over to where I was sitting and dig around in my backpack, I grab my first-aid kit and walk back over to the boy
"Alright, this is gonna sting a little, ok?"
I put a achohol wipe on his wound, he whimpers in return
"Shhhhhhhhhh, it's ok" I comfort the boy and remove the wipe
I wrap his hand with white bandages and pull him onto my chest
"See? That wasn't so bad, it just stung a little" I rub his arm lightly
"W-Whats y-your name?" I blush
This boy had the most cutest voice ever!
"L-Luke, you?" I hold him closer to me
"Z-Zander"
Thats a cute name
"Can we be friends?" I look down at Zander
Zander looks up at me and smiles
"I'd like that"
(6 years later they are now 11)
I chased Zander around as Zander giggled
"You'll never catch me!"
"Wanna bet?!" I tackle Zander
Zander and I rolled over many times, before coming to a stop. The position we were in was very................intresting
I had Zander pinned to the ground by his wrists, while Zander was lying there helpless
"Uhm.......Luke........can you....?" Zander's blush could cleary be seen
"O-oh yeah" I quickly get off of Zander and blush madly
"I'm sorry" I apoligize
"It's ok, it was an accident" Zander leaned onto my shoulder
"Zander...?"
"Hmmm?"
"Do you promise you'll never leave me?" I bite my lip
"Of course I won't! What makes you say that?" Zander sits up staright
"It's just that.......I have nightmares.......you leave me *hic* all alone in the dark *hic* and then I see you *hic* lying still in a puddle of *hic* blood." I wipe the tears away, but they just kept coming
"Luke....." Zander gently grabs my head and leans it onto his chest
"I'm not leaving you.........and if I did leave then i'd come back" Zander wipes the tears from my eyes
Well........he was right when he said he would come back
(3 years later they are 15)
I waited patienly for Zander at our special tree, he was late which was unusaul. I waited and waited and waited. But he never came
(2 years later they are now 17)
*Im done with the big time skips lol*
It has been 2 years since Zander dissapered, I cried so much. I thought that maybe he'd return soon, but it never happened. In the time i made 3 friends, Hailey, Milly, and Daisy. They helped me heal a bit, but it didn't change the fact I missed Zander
I slowly walk up a hill that had a big dip, if there was heavy rain it would surely flood, I walk up and am suprised to see a little town infront of me. I walk into the town and look around, it had restaurants, motels, hot springs, and shops, I walk towards one of the shops and bump into someone
"I'm sorry I wasn't-" I look up and see a black see through figure with a white smiling mask
I run the other direction and try to make it to the hill, but when I get there, there was water as if there was a giant rainstorm. The sun was setting and I saw across the water was another town of some sort that was not there before.
I run towards the back of a building and crouch into a ball
"It's not real, it's not real, it's not real" I look down at my hands
They were see-through
I start to panic, but then I feel someone put a hand on my shoulder.
"Its ok, eat this" I look down and see a hand with some sort of candy in it
I wack the person, but realize whoever was next to me I couldn't touch them
The hand covers my mouth, I refuse to open it, but then the person next to me whispers
"Trust me"
I open my mouth and eat the candy, it was a very strange taste. It was sour, but sweet at the same time. I swallow and close my eyes tightly
"Open your eyes, I promise you that your alright. Here try to touch my hand"
I slowly open my eyes and bring my head up to see the lower part of the person's face, I bring my hand up and intertwine my fingers with theirs
"You've grown alot best-friend" The voice said amused
Best-friend? Wait.....could it be.....?
I look up to see Zander, my childhood best-friend and crush that I haven't seen for 2 years. I feel the tears start to from in my eyes
"Zander?"
"The one and only" He smiles at me
I let the tears stream down my cheeks and lunge myself into his arms
"Zander!"
I sob into his arms
"Shhhhhhhhhhh" Zander runs his fingers through my hair
"Y-you jerk! *hic* you left me for *hic* 2 years!" I clutch the back of his shirt tighter
"I know........I'm sorry"
Zander comforts me as I countine crying, after I calm down I begin to feel sleepy.
"Don't fall asleep just yet, I can take you to a more comfortable place" Zander helps me up
"Come on" Zander holds out his hand
I take it and follow him back into town and into a giant house across a bridge
I yawn and wipe one of my eyes, Zander smiles at me. After we cross the bridge we go off to the side of the building and walk down lots of stairs, we come to a metal door and Zander opens it and signals me to follow him inside, I do so and we enter a giant room.
Sean, can my friend stay with you for the night? Then can you give him some work with Jake and Elliot?"
I look and see another boy around my age in a blue hoodie, dark blue pants, and white socks. He had black hair and his skin was darker, but I don't care about that.
"Sure, but you better visit him if he's your friend and not go off doing Zoey's tasks so much" The boy supposedly named Sean half glares at Zander, but shows a little bit of concern
"Alright, Alright. Well, I need to go now, listen to what Sean, Jake, and Elliot tell you ok?" Zander turns to face as I nod sleepily
Zander pecks my cheek and walks away as I'm left a blushing mess
"Ooooooohhhhhh, so your not just friends huh?" I look up at Sean to see a smug look on his face
"No, no, no, no! We're childhood best-friends, we just met up again after 2 years" I laugh a little awkwardly
"He ditched you for 2 years!? Oh, I'll have to have a talk with Zoey" Sean grabs a computer and starts typing in it
"Who's Zoey? You make it sound like she's a bad person" I walk over and sit down at a small table on a little cushion while taking my shoes off
"She is, in fact, she's the reason why Zander couldn't see you for 2 years" Sean sighs and stops typing
"But you look tired, so I'll tell you more about her in the morning" Sean walks over to a jour and pulls out two blankets and a pillow
"Here you go" Sean sets them down beside me
"Thank you for letting me stay the night" I bow down my head a bit
"I can see why Zander takes intrest in you" Sean chuckles a little
My cheeks heat up a bit
"Well, I'll stop teasing you about Zander and let you get some rest" Sean walks back to his computer and sits down
"What about you?" I ask unfolding the two blankets
"I'll go to sleep in a bit" Sean smiles at me
"Ok" I lay my head down on the pillow and slowly close my eyes, everything becomes quite as I fall asleep
~A few hours later~
I wake up and look out a window, it was still dark so it was to early to be up. I was about to go back to sleep when I see Sean sleeping without a blanket,
I'll get one for him
I head over to the jour and pull out a blanket, I walk over to Sean and cover him with it. He flinches a little bit, but continues to sleep, I walk back over to my set-up "bed" and lay back down letting the world disappear once again.
(Sean's P.O.V.)
I wake up and see that I had a blanket on me, I had went to bed without one so how did it get here? I hear someone faintly snoring, I turn around and see the boy from last night that Zander told me to give work.
Did he put it on me?
"Zander's got good taste" I chuckle to myself
I grab my computer and check the time,
7:27
I'll wake up the boy around 8:00 or so
(Luke's P.O.V.)
I wake up to typing noises, I look and see Sean awake on his computer
"Good morning" I yawn and stretch my arms
Sean looks up at me at smiles
"Good morning, uh whoops I never got your name" Sean scratches his neck
"Luke"
"Well then good morning Luke" Sean looks at his computer
"Im going to have Jake come and take you to Zoey so you can have a job here" Sean stands up and opens a secret door on the wall of some sort, he grabs a wooden red stick with the name Jake on it and clips it to a black rope

Sean pulls the rope and it yanks up and dissapears
"He'll be down a few" Sean sits down
"Now, how about we get to know each other a bit more?"
"Hmmmmmm, we'll i'm 17 and I met Zander 8 years ago. I also have a little crush on him" I mumble the last part
"That part is obvious" Sean had a smug look on his face
I blush and look down
"Well, im 18 and I met Zander when he first came here, which was 2 years ago"
"He came here?" I ask
"Not by his free will-"
"What did you want me here for?" I look up to see a boy with blonde into red pinkish hair, brown eyes, wearing a t-shirt with 2 swords on it, a dark blue jacket that is almost falling off, ripped jeans, black boots, earrings, and a diamond necklace.
"This is Luke, Zander's friend. Zander said that he wanted to you and Elliot to teach him how to work here" Sean looked up at him
"Zander better come visit him, anyway my name is Jake!" Jake holds his hand out as I stand up
"Luke" I shake his hand
"Well, how about we get you some work here, ok?" Jake smiles at me
"Ok"
~2 days later (cause i'm lazy, but as of now you've read about 2100 words)
It's been 2 days since i've started working here, basically this is a magical world, where spirits exist and the gian buildinng that I work in is a bathhouse, and Zoey is the boss of it all. I've got to be good friends with Jake, Sean, and Elliot, but I haven't seen Zander......right now i'm sitting on the balcony with my legs hanging, Jake brought some bread and is laying down next to me.

"I wonder where Zander is" I mumble
"Not Zander again, he just goes and comes" Jake sighs
I had been asking Jake and Elliot about Zander for the past 2 days, but they both don't know where he is, and to be honest I think Jake is losing his patience with me. Elliot is more calm.
"Jake! Light's out!" Elliot yells
"Got it!"
The lights turned off and we sat in slience with wind and "ocean" below us.
"I still can't believe it rained so much to cause a ocean to appear" I look down

"Well, your not from around here so i'm guessing this doesn't happen where your from" Jake says
"Yeah...."
Jake stands up
"I'm gonna go turn in, try not to stay up to late ok?"
"Alright"
I look out into the sky and think about Zander, I hope whereever he is, he'll come back soon.
I stand up and head in to sleep.
~Next day~
I slowly open my eyes and sit up, I rub my eyes and see that everyone has already gone to work, I stand up and put my scarf on along with my work outfit. I walk outside and stretch feeling the wind. All of a sudden, something drops and stains the wood railing.
Blood?
I look up and see
Zander? Wait....oh no......
I immediatly start running, I head to the side of the building and climb a latter,
Crap.....
It lead to a window, but thats it, I bang my back against the window. When that doesn't work I bang a second time and
"Gah! Ow......" My back hits the floor
I'm good at working here, but Jake pointed out that i'm a kultz, I stand up and look around. I was in a very nice bathroom, my attention goes to a big door, I go and open it and see Zander lying on his back with a white T-shirt on and some shorts, but........he was covered in cuts and brusies. I run to him and lift him up a bit, I hear a noise and turn my head and look around to see a girl with long black hair, dark brown eyes, and darker skin.
"Who are you?" I hold Zander closer to me
"My name is Lia, I'm Zoeys sister, now step away from the werewolf boy" Lia point at Zander
"What are you going to do? He needs help!" I glare at her
"That boy stole something of mine that is very valuable"
"Zander would never do that! He isn't like that!" I interrupt
"All werewolfs are like that and obey Zoey, the thing he stole had a spell on it and now he will die"
I hug Zander tighter
"No!"
Lia looks down at me
"Fine then you can fall"
all of a sudden, the floor disappears beneath us.
We fall and fall, but instead of hitting the ground we land on.......
"Ow!"
Sean
"Sorry Sean!"
I quickly get off him and hold Zander again, afraid of what might happen if I let him go
"Woah! Whats wrong with Zander!?" Sean sits up and looks at Zander
"I don't know! I was about to get to work when a drop of blood fell onto the railing and when I looked up I saw Zander, so I went up to Zoeys office and saw Zander lying on the floor! Then a girl named Lia came and said Zander would die because he stole something! And, and, and," I start hyperventilating while tears formed in my eyes
"Woah woah woah, calm down kid......I can help"
"Please...." I sob into Zanders chest
"Don't die........"
"Hold him steady ok? I'm going to get something" Sean stands up and walks to somewhere in the room
"*hic *............*hic*"
I clutch Zanders shirt
"Luke.......I need you to give this to Zander"
I look up and see Sean holding a little bowl with some type of liquid in it
"O-ok *sniff*"
I hold Zander and hold the bowl up to his mouth, after the liquid was gone I set it down beside and and countine holding him and crying
"Here......you can set him down here....." Sean sets a blanket down with a pillow
I lay Zander down and calm myself a bit
"*hic*.....................................*hic*"
I wipe my eyes a bit, and lay down beside Zander, I notice something in his pocket and I grab it and examine it. It was a gold bar with words engraved in it that said:
For the one who takes a hold of this beware the danger it brings
"S-Sean whats this? *sniff*"
Sean looks at me and goes wide-eyed
"Where did you get that?"
"It was in Zander's pocket" I answer
"Well, I know why Lia said those things to you now" Sean walks over
"If you give this back to Lia then Zander can be cured and she might be able to break him free from Zoey's control"
I look at the gold bar and clutch it tightly
"I'll go as soon as I can" I look at Sean
"Here you'll need these, head down to the water and you'll see train tracks. Follow them and you'll reach a train stop, use these and then go to Willow forest " Sean digs in his pocket and hands me train tickets
"Thanks"
I stand up and walk over to the metal door, I put my hand on the handle, but pause then look back to Sean
"Will you take care of him?"
"Of course, i'll care for him while your gone"
I give a small smile and opened the door then closed it behind me, I walk up the stairs, across the bridge and head down into the so called "ocean" from all the rain. Their were train tracks and I followed them like Sean said, I eventually reached a train stop and waited for the train, when it came I gave a ticket to the man and then out the rest in my pocket as I sat down looking out the window at all the water.
~After reaching Willow Forest~
I got off the train and paused infront of the forest and examined it for a moment. It was night out so I would need light....all of a sudden a street light was bouncing its way towards me. It stopped infront of me and bowed a little, not wanting to be rude I bowed back and then it started bouncing into the forest and stopped at a tree, i realized that it was probably taking me to where I want to go so I followed it into the forest. After a few minutes the street lamp stopped infront of a house and stood infront of it, I gulped and gathered enough courage to go to the front door and knock. Lia opened it and then gave me a smile
"I've been expecting you, please come in"
I walk into her house as she shuts the door and sits down at a table in the middle of the room
"Please sit"
I sit down next to her and try to begin a conversation
"Ms.Lia I think that I got the thing Zander stole from you"
I hand her the gold bar and she takes it remaining calm
"Yes, this is what he took"
"Please forgive him! Please don't let him die!"
I start to feel tears in the corners of my eyes again
"Do not worry dear one, he will not die for now you have returned this to me. I also assume you have come to ask me if I can break the spell my sister cast on him?"
"Mmhm" I nod
She grabs a cup of tea and takes a sip before speaking
"I do not have the power to break it, but you dear one have"
I look at her confused
"But....I don't have any powers, how can I break the cur-"
"True loves kiss works everytime" She smiles at me
At first I remain confused, but then I feel my whole face heat up
"W-what!?"
"The only other way is to ask Zoey herself to remove the curse, but I doubt she'll do so" Lia sighs
I gulp
"B-but what if he doesn't feel that way about me?" I mutter
"Oh don't be ridiculous, he loves you as much as you love him" Lia laughs
"O-ok, well I better get going Ms. Lia" I stand up and push my chair in
"Alright, also remember when you kiss him it might not wake Zander up immediately"
I blush at the word kiss
"A-alright" I say
I open the door, then wave to Lia
"Goodbye"
"Goodbye Luke, I hope we meet again"
I close the door then freeze
How did she know my name?
I sigh and decide to not question it as I walk back to the train station
~When Luke returns~
I open the door and see Sean asleep on the blankets
I guess I should do it now.....
I make my way towards Zander and sit down next to him, I lean over him a bit.....then I connect my lips with his while closing my eyes. I stay like that for a moment, I start to pull away when I felt pressure against my lips, my eyes go wide and I see Zander sitting up kissing back. I slowly close my eyes again as Zander sits up and rest his arms around my neck, I put my arm on his back slowly making its way towards his soft, beautiful, purple-black hair, after a few moments both of us pull away and open our eyes. Zander just smiles at me and rests his head on my chest as I play with his hair
"I love you to" Zander giggles
I feel my cheeks heat up a bit, but I smile knowing that now everything was alright becuase now
