"STACEY!" Mr. John yelled, and I snap out of my daydreaming, when I look around everyone is staring at me and some are even laughing.
"I called you 3 times,are you okay?" Mr. John asks. I nod and he tells me to answer the question on the board.
What was I even daydreaming about.
You were daydreaming about Charlie.
I was not.
Are you sure you want to argue.
He did give you all the stuffed animals and he also bought you that really cute necklace, that you are fidgeting with.
And not to forget that in the car, this morning he was extra sweet, he invited us for icecream after school, since you guys forgot about it yesterday.
I groan and start to focus on the class,both Hunter and Charlie are in this class, and I honestly wish I hadn't taken history.
After a few hours of misery, it was finally lunch, which means I get to spend it in the library.
Are you sure it's the library you're excited for, and not Charlie?
Ohh God, why is my subconscious so wise and annoying.
I take out my lunch and my book and wait at our usual table,Charlie is nowhere to be found, and he is always here before me.
Maybe he went to get icecream, but if we're going after school for icecream, why would he bring it now.
I wait for another 10 minutes, but he is still not here, Charlie would never bail on me would he?
Maybe something happened.
I inside grab my bag and rush out of the library, the halls are empty and decide to go to the cafeteria, maybe he'll be there.
When I get to the cafeteria, I see everyone rushing out of their seats and going outside.
I manage to grab a girl's arm and ask her what is going on.
"Charlie and Jeremy are having a fight outside!" My blood instantly goes cold, why on earth would Charlie fight with Jeremy.
I run outside and see the crowd, I push my way through the crowd and finally get to the scene.
Charlie has a bloody nose and his eye and cheek is swollen, and Jeremy has a bloody lip and his one eyes is swollen.
Jeremy punches Charlie in his stomach and Charlie goes down, Charlie quickens regains his posture and he lunges for Jeremy, they are both rolling on the ground. Why isn't anyone doing anything.
I am pretty sure God answered my prayers, because Hunter came from nowhere and he started pulling Charlie away, then he whispered something and Charlie's eyes fell on me, his face had pure rage,and it's something I have never seen.
Charlie storms out of the place and Jeremy gets up and wipes his face with his sleeve, he was about to say something but Hunter punched Jeremy straight on the nose,you could hear a bone breaking and Jeremy fell.
And Hunter went after Charlie, the bell rang and everyone went back to their classes, I couldn't move my legs, I must have stayed there for about 5 minutes until Jeremy saw me and he smirked.
"You better keep your boyfriends in a leash, and get the secrets out of them!" Jeremy says and he walks away.
I reluctantly drag my feet towards my class, what secrets was he talking about.
After school ended,I wasn't sure I would be able to face Charlie, I want answers but I don't know what to do.
So I decide to just walk home,should have known it wasn't going to work, because I walked for 5 minutes and Charlie's car was next to me.
So I got in,I mean why waste so much energy walking when you can drive home.
The moment I got in,I stared at the trees, it has become a habit when I am avoiding him.
"I'm sorry!" Chapter said." And I know you're avoiding me,but please let me talk!" Charlie asks hopefully.
I turn my gaze to him and he smiles.
"I fought with Jeremy because he said bad stuff about you and he knew that Hunter and I are brothers, and he wanted to tell the whole school, including you!" Charlie said with his eyes on the road, I was about to say something but Charlie cut me off. "Hunter doesn't want anyone to know about it now,and neither do I,because then we'll be getting double the attack and I don't want attention right now,and Jeremy doesn't know that you know about us!" Charlie said. "So am I forgiven,because I really want to go for some icecream?" Charlie asked while giving me his award winning smile.
"Fine you're forgiven, and we can go for some icecream if you let me clean up that cut on your forehead!" I say while smiling.
"Deal, although how do you know how to do this,Hunter did his best,but he sucks with the first aid kit!" Charlie asks.
"My dad made me learn all this emerald stuff incase I am ever in a situation." I find the first aid kit in Charlie's car and clean the wound when we stop at the icecream shop.
After I cleaned his cut,we went inside and ordered the best icecream, the lady smiled when she saw us,I am pretty sure she has gotten used to us,we come almost all the time here and Charlie comes here during lunch to buy icecream also.
"You two make a really lovely couple!" She said while put some icecream into our cups, I instantly turn red, and thank God my hair is long so I can cover my face. But unfortunately Charlie looked at me and saw my face and he started laughing, oh God, I am dying of embarrassment.
We take our icecream and go sit at a table in the corner.
I was so engrossing in devouring the icecream that I nearly jumped out of the chair when Charlie tucked my hair behind my ear.
I blush again, oh God, these stupid hormones. Charlie smiles and goes back to his icecream, we eat in silence, but like always it is comfortable, so I don't mind it.
Charlie drives me home and I thank him for the icecream.
"Ohh and Stacey, you look really cute when you blush!" Charlie yells from the car, and there I go dying of embarrassment.
I just open the door and hope that nobody heard that, but ofcourse i was wrong, because my dad was there and he was just staring at me.
"Who called you cute?" My dad asks all serious.
I have no idea how to talk about this.
"Umm, Charlie!" I say above a whisper.
"I want to meet that boy, and we need to have a talk!" My dad says and he walks away.
Maybe aliens have abducted my dad,and this is some shapeshifter, maybe I should investigate.
You need the mental asylum.
Why can't my subconscious stay quiet for even a few hours.
Charlie's POV
When I get home,I am smiling like an idiot, but the moment is short lived,because the moment my mom sees my face she screams and starts asking me questions.
"I'm fine mom,it's nothing, I ran into a pole earlier." I say and Hunter snorts,I look at him and glare.
"Very interesting pole Charlie!" Hunter says, why can't he just shut up.
I was about to say something but my mom touched my head and I winced at the pain.
"You got into a fight didn't you? Charlie you can't be getting into fights with your sickness, you never know what can happen!" My mom screams while crying.
So I walk over her and hug her,she seemed kinda shocked at my action but returns the hug.
"Promise me you won't get into any fights Charlie!" My mom says while crying.
I kiss her head and I promise her that I won't get into any fights.
After all that, I went upstairs and headed for the shower, I winced when the hot water hit my body.
When I lay down in bed,the only thing I can think of, is Stacey, how she blushed when Mrs. Jones said we make a cute couple, and when I yelled that she looked cute when she blushed, just the thought of it brings a smile to my face.
So I grab my phone and message her.
Night Stacey, I had an amazing time today and yesterday. :C
I put my phone down and after a few minutes my phone beeped.
Goodnight Charlie, so did I, and thank you for everything. :S
If only she knew about me,but if I tell her,she'll be sad, and I might lose her forever.
The thought of losing her makes my chest pain.
