I never cared about the time of the day
not until I met her.
Now I'm constantly checking the time
only waiting for all the ones to align.
For her there was just something special about 11:11,
When she missed the hour she would get sad for the rest of the day, saying no one would understand the opportunity she just gave away.
But the times that she didn't, she would smile at me and say, "Make a wish!" with joy in her heart. My eyes were lost in the beauty of her light.
Every time she said this words, I could never bring myself to tell her that my wish had already come true, because all I ever asked for was to see her smile shine through.
Now everyday I check the time of the day, waiting for eleven eleven, just so I can tell her to see her smile again.
