This takes place after chapter sixteen
"psst, Rani, time to get up." Kion said
Rani opens her eyes and stretches, "Good morning sleepy head." she said
"You're the one who is the sleepy head, not me." Kion said
"I'm guessing you had a good night sleep." Rani said
"Of course I did." Kion said
Fuli runs in the tree, "Kion, aren't you joining with us on patrol?" Fuli asked
"Oh, I'm late, sorry I'll be right there." Kion said
"Well I better go check up with Nirmala." Rani gets up and walks out of the tree, Kion follows to go to Fuli,
"Morning everyone, sorry I'm late." Kion said
"Rough night?" Beshte asked
"Not really, had a good night." Kion said
"Kion, where should we patrol first?" Fuli asked
"I say we patrol as usual." Kion said
Amala runs up, "Mom, I'm coming with you." she said
Fuli looks at Kion, "Do you think it's safe to bring her here even though we have an enemy that has returned." Fuli said
"It's fine Fuli, even your cubs can take him down, she can come with us." Kion said
"who's the enemy?" Amala asked
"THat squirrel you caught yesterday." Fuli said
"Oh yeah, I remember him." Amala said
"Alright, let's go everyone, got to make sure everything is running smoothly." Kion said
To Nemesis
Nemesis has walked out of the cave he was sleeping in, Shupavu is leading him somewhere, the trip takes about ten minutes, Shupavu has lead him to Ezekiel's hideout, "This place is familiar, my father and someone who lives here made a deal, honestly, my father should have killed him right from the spot." Nemesis said
"Well he is dead anyway, so he won't be a problem." Florian said
"Come on, in here you two, something about the orbs are in here." Shupavu said
Nemesis and Florian follow Shupavu into the hideout, Shupau goes to the paintings, "Right over here." she said
Nemesis walks up and moves things out of the way, it reveals the powers of the orbs, "So another orb, the white is on his staff." Nemesis said
"Not just that one, a green one too, but that one has severely limited information." Shupavu said
"I'm not interested in that one, this is the one I'm interested in, apparently Ezekiel has created this orb to be a counter to the dark red one." Nemesis said
"Um Nemesis, the red one apparently has some interesting things too." Florian said
Nemesis walks up to Florian, "What is it?" Nemesis asked
Florian moves thing out of the way to reveal the painting, it about the orb of darkness and the solar eclipse, Nemesis looks at the figures out what it says, "So the dark red orb can apparently resurrect evil lions of the past during a solar eclipse when the sun is at the highest point, quickly, we need to find where the sun is going to be at its highest point when this event happens." Nemesis said
Nemesis, Florian and Shupavu continue to look for more paintings, Nemesis sees a glimpse of what he's looking for, he walks up and moves more thing out of the way, "You two, come up here, you need to see this." Nemesis said
Shupavu and Florian walks up, they look at the paintings, wait a minutes, I think I know this place, it's the savannah plains (Max's pride)." Florian said
"That's where we will go, which means we can resurrect Scar, bring him back again." Nemesis said
"I like how you think." Shupavu said
"But how are you supposed to get the orb of darkness?" Florian asked
"Have you been paying attention, the white orb is a counter to the red orb, we just need to steal it to get the red orb." Shupavu said
"I think that white orb is at the Tree of Life." Florian said
"Then we'll sneak in, steal the orb and than I'll use it against my father and make him give up his orb." Nemesis said
Nemesis walks to the paintings of the orbs, he looks at the orb of mystery, there is more power to it than Ezekiel has told everyone, "Hey Nemesis, I snuck in the Tree of Life, but after a week, they found me and kicked me out, how do you expect to sneak in and not be caught?" Florian asked
"I have my ways, now come, we need to get the white orb." Nemesis said
To the Tree of Life
Kion and his guard is have way done with their patrol, everything is running smoothly, they are also keeping an eye out for Florian, a few minutes later, Rani runs up to Kion and stops right in front of him, she starts shyly turning her paw on the ground,
"Oh, we'll leave you two alone." Fuli said as took the rest of the guard with her,
"Rani, what is it?" Kion asked
"Well, remember when I checked up with Nirmala?" Rani asked
"Yeah, I remember that, are you sick?" Kion asked
"No, keep guessing." Rani said
Kion thinks than he figures it out, his eyes opened wide as he gasps, "Are you" Kion tries to spit out the last word but just stutters the beginning of it,
Rani smiles, "Keep going." she ordered
Kion takes a deep breath, "Are you pregnant?" he asked
Rani pounces on Kion, "Yes Kion, and your going to be a father." Rani said
Kion starts shaking with excitement and fear, "Are you joking or are you serious?" he asked
"Of course I'm serious, why would I joke about that?" Rani asked
Kion licks Rani in the cheek, "I don't know, I know you like joking around." he said
Rani runs her paw down Kion's face, "I will never joke about that." she said
"I still don't trust you." Kion said
"Trust me Kion, I will never." Rani said
Kion gets up, I'll be keeping my eye on you." he backs up smiling almost hitting a tree than truns around and runs to the guard,
"Hey next time watch for that tree." Rani jokes
Two hours later
Fuli has left patrol early today to spend time with her cubs, Zaza starts running around Fuli, Azaad lays down on the grass looking exhausted, "Let me guess, she wore you down again?" FUli asked
"No, Azaad never get wore out." he tried to get back up but falls back down, "Okay, Azaad is too exhausted but will be back up later." he said
"Knew it, you're always too confident." Fuli said
Azaad rolls his eyes than turns his face towards the clouds to the north, "Look like a storm is brewing." he said
"Fuli looks at the storm and sees that it is missing the Tree of Life, "It's moving away from us, we won't get wet." Fuli said
"Good." Azaad said
Amala pounces on Zaza to wear her down, but Zaza is full of energy today, more than usual, a huge lightning bolt strikes outside of the storm followed by blasting thunder fifteen seconds later, Zaza jumps from the sound and runs under her mother, Amala jumps a little as well but stays put,
"Scared of a little thunder?" Azaad asked
Zaza bravely walks out, "No, I'm not scared of anything." but she was officially still shaken up from the thunder
Fuli robs her paw on Zaza's head, "It's okay, it's just thunder, it's not going to get you."she said
"But what if it does?" Zaza asked
"Than Azaad will beat it until it leaves you alone." he said
"How are you supposed to beat thunder?" Amala asked
Fuli stares at Amala making her stop, "Yeah, dad would beat it up." Amala said
The four continue to talk for a few minutes, than Sabor runs up with Lola and their cubs, Fuli jumps up, "Sabor, I thought you were Makucha for a moment their, what are you doing here anyway?" Fuli asked
"Scared of the storm?" Azaad asked
"No, I've came here to warn you that a familiar scent has returned." Sabor said
"A familiar scent, do you know who it is?" Fuli asked
"No idea, it's been a while since I caught it, all I know it's familier." Sabor said
"It's probably nothing, and if it is anything, we can take care of it." Fuli said
"I'm not taking any risks, I brought my family here to keep them safe." Sabor said
"Alright, let's go find the queen and tell her." Fuli walks off, Sabor and his family follow her
Thirty minutes later
Fuli found Rani taking care of a situation with animals disagreement, "Rani, moment of you time." Fuli said
"Yeah sure, just finished with these animals, what's going on." Rani said
Sabor walks up than bows "Your majesty" he said
"Oh no need to say that, you're a friend and an allie." Rani said
Sabor stops bowing, "I came here to say that I needing somewhere to stay safe, I've recently caught a familiar scent, not sure who it is but I'm not taking any risks, so I've decided to bring them here." Sabor said
Lola walks up "Actually, I was the one who suggested to us to come up here, since you told us about this scent, I knew the nearest one who will keep us safe is Rani's pride." she said
"Oh, I can't keep you safe because, well, lets just say me a Kion are going to be parents, but Kion and his group will keep you safe." Rani said
"Well congratulations Rani." Lola said
Rani smiles and looks away, "thanks, but I don't really like the attention." she said
"Did you tell anyone besides Kion and the others?" Lola asked
"No, like I said, I really don't like the attention." Rani said
"You are the queen, you got to tell the animals sometime." Lola said
"I know, and I will soon." Rani said
"Rani, if Kion knows, than it is likely that Bunga knows, and he's a loud mouth, he will tell everyone that, and not to mention Binga who is also a loud mouth, so got to tell them sometime." Fuli said
"Why would Kion tell Bunga?" Rani asked
"Because they are best friends, hard to believe it but they tell each other almost everything." Fuli said
"Well enough of that, you are all allowed to stay at the Tree of Life, so far it's been peaceful here besides one, Florian has came back and started disturbing other animals although I'm sure he won't be a problem to you." Rani said
"He sure won't, he's pretty easy if you ask me." Sabor said
"Who is this Florian?" Lola asked
"He is a squirrel who disrespects the circle of life." Sabor said
"Wow a squirrel, never thought a squirrel would disrespect the circle of life." Lola said
"Well no mather, he's just a squirrel, nothing more." Sabor said
To the Savannah plains, (Max's pride)
Since Kara left with Ajax long ago, the days has not been easy, Max has been having to rely on his son Stitch to rule the lands, he is not fit for it but his father keeps on pushing him past his limits, they are right now by their water hole training, "Alright stitch, the main part about being king is respecting the circle of life." Max said
"I know that father, it's not that hard to respect it, but the rule the land and protect it at the same time, that's the thing that I can't do." Stitch said
"My son, I'm going to be honest with you, your attacking ability is off the charts, you're pretty strong, but your ruling is needing a lot of improvements." Max said
"No father, I can't tule all of this, it's a lot to take in, I will never be like you." Stitch said
Max tries to say more words but insteads he starts coughing quite it bit almost choking,
"Oh father, are you alright?" Stitch asked
Max stops coughing, and looks up into the sky, "My time is near, and I need someone to take my place, and it can't be your sister." Max said
"No father, I can't take your place, you've been trying for too long and there's been no improvement, so why keep on trying." Stitch said
Clawdia appears on the top of the hill, "Max, over he." she ordered
"We'll continue this later son." Max starts walking to Clawdia, "What going on?" he asked
"Come walk with me to our lair." Clawdia said
Max and Clawdia walk into the lair, "So you've been training Stitch again, have you?" Clawdia asked
"Well I need someone to take my place." Max said
"And your pushing your only son too hard, he won't be able to rule if you keep doing this." Clawdia said
"Well I have to, my time is very near." Clawdia said
"Have you ever thought about having me train him or one of the other lions?" Clawdia asked
"It has to be me, I'm the king and Stitch the future king." Max said
"You know, all of this would not have happened if you haven't kicked Ajax out long ago." Clawdia said
"He got Kara pregnant, he knew what he did and he." Max said
"And since his banishment, Kara followed him, to where ever he is going." Clawdia said
Max gives Clawdia a look, "she choose to leave the pride, she's on her own." Max said
"How could you say that to your own daughter, even right now she could be struggling to survive and plus the cubs she had, by now they are grown up, how could she feed them?" Clawdia said
"As I said, she's on her own." Max said
"Stop that Max, and she's not alone, she has Ajax with her." Kara said
"After what he did, you still supporting him, you're the one who helped me kicked him out." Max said
"You choose that, sure I was furious, but I had no plan of kicking him out, he's a pretty great lion if you get to know him." Clawdia said
"He's not a." Max yelled but before he could finish, he starts coughing, and struggle to take a breath,
"Max" Clawdia gets worried for him as his coughing gets worse, he finally stops coughing, and able to breathe normally again, Clawdia puts her paw on Max's head, his head was hot, "Max, you're burning up, and you need to rest, if you don't, it will only get worse." she said
"I'll be fine, as long as I can walk, I will live on." Max said
"I won't allow you to leave this lair Max, you need to get over your sickness." Clawdia said
"Than who will rule this lands?" Max asked
"Don't forget, I'm the queen, I can rule as well." Clawdia said
"If you say so Clawdia." Max said
Two hours later
Max started to look at the solar eclipse paintings, he notices something and it's not good, Clawdia came back in the lair a few minutes later,
"Ha, perfect that you came back." Max said
"We're not going through this again." Clawdia said
"No, it's something different, look at the painting above." Max said
Clawdia looks at the painting, she also sees the solar eclipse painting, "A solar eclipse, will be cool to see." Clawdia said
"except that it is at the highest point, and if you look below, something bad always happens, but this one is at the highest point, which means our lands is at the heart of evil." Max said
"Which means?" Clawdia asked
"Which means the end of our pride." Max said
"No, it will not be the end, we will find a way Max, we won't let a solar eclipse mark the end, but a new beginning." Clawdia said
To the Pridelands
Life in the Pridelands has not gotten any easier, still not a cloud in the sky, a few days ago there was two fires at once, Vitani and her guard were lucky, if it wasn't for the elephants, the second fire would have gotten out of control, only ashes remain from the fires, Vitani walks down with Kiba, "So how is the fires here?" Kiba asked
"Not good, they've been starting up non stop, How is your healer doing?" Vitani asked
"She's really starting to slow down, her age is really showing and can't keep up with us anymore, I'm afraid her time is near, which means I will have to find a new healer pretty soon." Kiba said
"Maybe you should start searching for one right now before it's too late." Vitani said
"Good idea, the problem is I don't know who should I pick." Kiba said
"Maybe Ash could help, she knows just about everything on healing, she could even train them on how to do it." Vitani said
"Alright, I'll go ask her right away." Kiba starts walks to her pack, "Ash, I need your help." she said
"What is it Kiba?" Ash asked
"I need your help, we are going to need a new healer pretty soon and I need your help to train one." Kiba said
Ash stayed silent for a little while, then she started speaking out, "Alright, I guess I can help you find one." she said
"Really, I thought you would be arguing with me." Kiba said
"I've taken care of many of our pack members, I've seen good health and bad health, you think I'm not going to look at my own." Ash said
"I just thought you would disagree with me." Kiba said
"I've noticed I've been slowing down, I can't even keep up with the simplest tasks, and healing, I'm struggling to keep up, so I need quite a bit of help to keep up and even someone to replace me." Ash said
"No one can replace you Ash, but we'll start looking tomorrow, if you're comfortable with it." Kiba said
"Of course I'm comfortable with it, I've helped you lead, now I can help you train." Ash said
"Alright, rest up Ash, you're going to need it." Kiba said
Kiba walks to her pack, Ash stays with the injured to heal them the best she can.
To the Tree of Life
Patrol was finished early once again, but little did everyone know, enemies have returned, not just Florian, but Nemesis is sneaking around with Shupavu looking for the orb of mystery, he makes sure that Ono and Anga doesn't spot him and he also has Florian running ahead to also look for the orb, he has Shupavu also exploring the land so she can know the area for the future, Florian comes back to where Nemesis is hiding, "I found the orb but it's going to be hard to get to." Florian said
"What do you mean hard to get?" Nemesis asked
"Well there orb is on a stick and the stick is with Makini." Florian said
"Really, I could just take that stick away from her." Nemesis starts running to Makini, she drops the stick and runs to something interesting, Nemesis sees the stick and tries to pick it up but it disappears before he even touches it, he backs up to Florian, "Well, you're right, it going to be hard to get." Nemesis said
"Tried telling you, the stick disappears when she drops it." Florian said
"Than I just have to take the orb off of it when she least expecting it." Nemesis said
"Good idea, I'll create distractions while you steal that orb." Florian said
Florian runs off, Nemesis sees Rani walking into the tree, Nemesis sneaks in the tree, he walks beside the rock to a point where Rani can not see him, she is looking at the paintings, Nemesis sees an opportunity to attack, he prepares his claws and starts snaring his teeth, he prepares to charge, Fuli suddenly enters the tree
"Hey Rani, you're in here?" Fuli asked
Nemesis immediately changes his position, he finds a patch where there are a lot of paintings, he runs in than he makes sure he wasn't seen, he wasn't, the vines cover him,
"Yeah, I'm here, what's going on?" Rani asked
"I've been looking for you, there are animals that are disagree with the newcomers." Fuli said
Rani rolls her eyes, "I'll be there in a moment." Rani said
Amala walks in, Mom, why you run away?" she asked
"Oh who is this now?" Nemesis whispered
"Sorry, but I needed to run to the queen." Fuli said
"The queen, can I talk to her?" Amala asked
"I'm right here, ask me anything." Rani said
"What is it like being queen of this whole place?" Rani asked
"It's a challenge, that's why I have your mom patrol every morning." Rani said
"How about the king, what does he do?" Amala asked
"Same thing I do, makes sure everything is going fine." Rani said
"Sorry to interrupt the longer we talk the longer the animals disagree and the higher the chance the disagreement could turn violent." Fuli said
"Oh sorry, lead to way Fuli." Rani said
Fuli runs off, Rani follows, Amala stay behind for a little bit,
"Run away little cub." Nemesis said
Amala looks around to see who said it, "Who there, I'm not afraid of you." she said
"You should be, I am your doom." Nemesis said
"My doom." Amala runs out of the tree in fear,
Nemesis walks out of the vines smiling, he looks at the paintings, "So Kion came here to get healed, interesting." Nemesis thought
He continues to look at the paintings, he notices something strange from a long time ago but wasn't interested in it
To Fuli
Fuli is guiding Rani to the location where the animals are disagreeing, Amala runs up to Fuli, "Mom, I heard something in the tree, and it scared me." she said
Fuli looks at Rani, "It's okay Fuli, just tell me where it is I can find my way there." Rani said
"Straight ahead, once you enter the trees, take a slight right, you should be there." Fuli said
Rani runs into the forest, Fuli turns to Amala, "What happened?" she asked
"Once you and the queen left, I heard someone say run away little cub, I tried to be brave but than it said it was my doom, that's when I ran away." Amala explained
"It was probably in your imagination." Fuli said
"No I heard it, come I'll show you." Amala runs back into the tree, Fuli rolls her eyes and runs in with Amala,
"I heard it right here." Amala said
Fuli sneaks up into the vines, "Nope, nobody is here." Fuli said
"What if it was a ghost?" Amala asked
Loud footsteps is heard as Nemesis runs out of the tree, Amala saw him but Fuli didn't, "Mom, I saw him this time, it was a lion and he ran away." Amala said
Fuli looks around to see who it was, she saw nobody, "Probably just Bunga pranking you." she said
"No it wasn't a honey badger and Bunga would never do that to me, it was a lion, a huge lion, bigger than Kion." Amala said
"A lion, must be Kara's son, although he would never ever say that." Fuli said
"What if it was an evil lion, plating revenge on all of us, wanting to rule the world." Amala said
"No lion would want that." Fuli sniffed a little and caught a familiar scent, she couldn't mark who it was,
"But what if this one does?" Amala asked
"Shh, I need to concentrate." Fuli sniffs more to try to get more of the scent,
"What are you doing mom?" Amala asked
"Someone was here, I can't fully mark who it was but I need to warn Kion that we have a possible invader, go find your dad and stay with him until I come back." Fuli said
"Yes mom, and I'll keep him safe for you." Amala said
Fuli and Amala runs out of the tree, Amala runs to Azaad, Fuli starts looking for Kion.
Five minutes later
Fuli founds Kion with Sabor, "Kion, possible invader." Fuli yelled
"Who is it?" Kion asked
"No idea, but the scent was familiar." Fuli said
"Maybe I should come with you two, this could be the same scent that I encountered earlier." Sabor said
"Just be careful, I don't want you getting hurt." Kion said
"I promises Kion." Sabor said
Kion, Fuli, and Sabor starts walking towards the tree, Florian pops out of the tree and starts running to Nemesis
Kion, Fuli, and Sabor enters the tree, Sabor sniffs around, "Yep, this is definitely the scent that I caught earlier, who ever he is, he is now in the Tree of Life somewhere." Sabor said
"Fuli, round up the guard, tell them we have an unknown intruder and start looking for something suspicious." Kion ordered
"What do you plan to do Kion?" Fuli asked
"I have the roar, I'll start searching for him, if I find him, I'll roar him away." Kion said
"What should I do Kion?" Sabor asked
"go to your family and stay out of this." Kion said
"Sure will." Sabor runs out of the tree
To Nemesis
Nemesis is out of breath from running, Florian pops up in front of him, "They are on to you, whatever you're planning do it now." Florian said
"Do they know it's me?" Nemesis asked
"Not yet, but they will start looking for you." Florian said
Nemesis found Makini with Ezekiel's staff again, "I've already found my target." Nemesis sneaks up on Makini, she puts holds the stick into the air, the orb of mystery is revealed, Nemesis gets up on his hind legs and touches the orb of mystery, he accidently moves the stick slightly, he makes sure Makini didn't notice, she is too much in her daydream to even notice, Nemesis grabs the orb and starts pulling it off the stick, he has to use a little bit of force to get it off but he manages to get it, he's pushed back a little, Florian runs up, "You're okay?" he asked
"I'm fine, but I got the orb, let's get out of here." Nemesis sees suddenly sees Fuli with the guard beside her, "Quickly, inside that bush." Nemesis ordered
"Alright, Kion wants us to look everywhere." Fuli said, she suddenly catches a scent again and this time stronger, she follows the scent to the bush,
"We're doomed Nemesis." Florian said
"Not yet, I have the white orb remember." Nemesis uses the orb and it glows, a loud roar is heard all the way to the other side of the land, Fuli hears the sound, "This way, he's over here." Fuli ordered
Nemesis walks out of the bush, Florian runs out of the bush and follows Nemesis, Shupavu also runs up, "Anything?" she asked
"Got the orb, let's get out of here." Nemesis said
"Good, now your father will get what he deserves." Shupavu said
"Not yet, I still need to learn how to use this properly." Nemesis said
To Fuli
Fuli is still running towards the sound she heard, "Um, Fuli, we're nearly at the edge, the animal is not here." Beshte said
"He's got to be, I heard him over here." Fuli said
makini's scream suddenly fills the air, Fuli suddenly turns around, "Makini in trouble, we need to save her." she ordered
"Oh come on, can we stop taking turns?" Bunga complained
Fuli and the rest runs for a few minutes to Makini, "What's going on Makini?" Fuli asked
"The orb, it's gone." Makini yelled
"Maybe you just grabbed the wrong stick." Beshte said
Makini gives a stern face to Beshte, brings her hand into the air, nothing, "Well that's not good, we've definitely have an invader here, and now he has the orb of mystery." Fuli said
Kion runs up, "Makini, what's going on here?" he asked
Fuli runs up to Kion, "The orb of mystery has been stolen." she said
"Who ever this guy is, he is clever, tricked us, and now he has the orb, and now he is powerful." Kion said
"Do we need to get Ajax?" Fuli asked
"No, the orb of mystery is the counter to the orb of darkness according to Ezekiel, which means Ajax will be useless in this case." Kion said
"But he could still help." Fuli said
"I still don't trust him, but at the same time, it couldn't be him, he usually doesn't sneak in." Kion said
Rani and the night pride runs up, "What's going on?" they all asked
Kion explains everything to Rani and the night pride, "So who ever he was, snuck, fooled all of you, and stole the orb of mystery." Rani said
"Yes, we don't know who it is either." Kion said
Anga flies down with a disappointed face,
"Anything Anga?" Fuli asked
"Nope, found nothing, looked all over the Tree of Life." Anga said
"For now on, we need to take extra procustion, he could be going after the orb of healing next." Kion said
"Who ever this guy was Kion, he was also in the tree, he could have just ripped the roots out and just take it." Fuli said
"Actually no, something grandmother Janna didn't tell any of you is that the tree can defend itself from intruders, but with the orb of mystery, he could be trying to take it out." Rani said
"If he takes it, than the healing powers would not work anymore, we would not be able to heal animals anymore." Nirmala said
"Than we got to defend it at all costs." Kion turns to Fuli, "Fuli, I'm going to have to ask you to not bring Amala on patrol anymore." he said
"Kion, she likes going on patrol with me, she likes seeing what we do." Fuli argued
"I know, but with an intruder here, we can't take any risks, what if he comes back and hurts her or even worse takes her away." Kion said
"That won't happen Kion, she can just hide in a bush." Fuli said
Rani steps in between, "ENOUGH, that's enough arguing, we need to make a plan, and arguing is not going to help." Rani turns to Fuli, "I'm with Kion on this one, we can't be putting her at risk." Rani said
"She's going to be disappointed when she hears this." Fuli said
"I know, and I'm sorry, but it's for her safety." Rani said
"Alright, he has the orb of mystery, which means that the roar won't be effective to him, so we have to use strength in this one, not power." Kion said
"If this involves strength, then we need all the help we can get." Rani said
"I guess that means we will have to stay up through the day." Nirmala said
"No, you stay on patrol at night, Sabor has came back to us, he can help, so can Kara and Rawr." Rani said
"Kara has cubs of her own, she may not be able help." Kion said
Ono flies down, "It's not Ajax, he still at his area, although he is different, his fur is no longer darker and his mane is orange, almost didn't recognize him, of course his scar gave it away, almost looks like you Kion." he said
"Well that's one lion off the list." Beshte said
"Wait a minute, I think I know who it is." Ono said

"Some of the things lead up to it, first Sabor caught a familiar scent, than Fuli also caught it, the lion went inside the tree, told Amala to run away, and didn't even try to take the orb of healing, than stole the orb of mystery, and never heard of again, the orb of mystery is a counter to the orb of darkness, which means Nemesis next target is his own father Ajax." Ono said
"Which means he is not interested in us at the moment." Rani said
"We should still take purcusions, Ono, anything else?" Kion asked
"Not much, Ajax is in a pretty secured area with his lions surrounding him, so he should be well protected." Ono said
"Good, we don't want him stealing another orb." Kion said
"Look everyone, if Nemesis gets one more orb, he'll be too powerful to stop." Fuli said
"He already is." Kion said
"Whatever, yes the orb of Mystery is powerful, but so are we, we just need to work together, no amount of power can stop us, look back in our past, we've defended the Pridelands, we've defeated Scar, we've guided Kion to the Tree of Life when he needed healing so he wouldn't turn evil, than we help Rani defend the Tree of Life twice, yes this is going to be a challenge but we all can do it." Fuli explained
Rani steps up, "I'm with Fuli, we can do this, we don't need the roar, we just need a plan and strength, who's with me." Rani said
"Yeah, I',m with you." Bunga jumps on Rani's back, everyone besides Kion stepas up, all eyes are now on him,
"Kion, you're next." Fuli said
Kion sighs, "Alright, I guess we can do it." he steps up than whispers something in Rani's ear, "By the way, I'm not letting you join any of these battles."
Rani smiles at Kion, "Alright, we're all in, now let's make a plan." Rani said
Twenty minutes later
Rani prepares to explain the plan "Alright, the plan is Beshte will pushing a huge rock, as a shield, Anga, Ono and Ullu will fly around, and annoy Nemesis, Bunga and Binga will also annoy him, me and Kion will be behind Beshte waiting for the right moment, Baliyo and Surak will hole down Nemesis, then me and Kion will jump out and take the orb back, Nirmala will stay behind if anyone gets injured." she explained
"Good plan for now, although you left out Kara and Rawr out." Ono said
"Nemesis is family to them, I don't want them to go through the stress." Rani said
"The problem is we got to know where he is going next." Kion said
"Got to pick the right timing to attack." Ono said
To Nemesis
Fyre is walking up to Nemesis, he uses the orb, white string come from fours directions and wraps around his paw, Nemesis bring his paw down quicks and rocks comes to his direction,
"Nemesis, what was that?" Fyre asked
"A counter to my father's power, and now I am going to use it against him." Nemesis said
Shupavu runs up, "Watch out Nemesis, Kion and Rani now know it is you, and will be coming for you soon." she said
"Than I'll get my father now." Nemesis puts the orb of mystery into the air, dark red small dots creates a path, "This is the path to my father and I am going to follow it." Nemesis said
"Nemesis, one thing, good luck." Fyre said
Nemesis starts following the path to Ajax
End of Chapter Seventeen
Rani is pregnant and Kion is going to be a father, notices Max and Clawdia has returned but much older, Max is sick with an unknown disease and is pretty weak from it, The Pridelands has not changed much from the bonus chapters except Ash is getting close to retirement, back in the Tree of Life, Nemesis has returned the name of the title, Kion didn't notice it was him until it was too late, Nemesis stolen the orb of Mystery and plans to use it against his father Ajax, Kion and the day and night pride made a plan to take the orb back but Nemesis is going to strike his father now, will they take it back in time or will Nemesis get another orb, he has plans for the orb of darkness, next chapter is not going to be really a chapter, it's more of a trailer but doesn't tell much about the story.
