" What do you mean?" I look at S.Coups as he was fiddling with his fingers
" Vernon-sshi Y/n is mentally unstable she needs to be kept in the hospital to have treatment,"
Jeonghan says, I shake my head
" You know she hurts you too, once she's better wouldn't it be easier for your relationship?"
S.Coups joins in " But Hyung I-...I don't want this Y/n in perfect for me, can I still visit her?"
Jeonghan bites his lower lip before shaking his head
" Well since it's getting worse the doctors recommend no one visits her until she's stable, you can see her one last time"
S.Coups looks at Vernon giving him a small smile " I try to hold back
" How long will her treatment be?"
" once she's stable"
" and when will that be?"
" Well maybe in a year?"
" Maybe? Hyung I want a complete answe-"
" We don't know! Okay? It can last for a long time, Vernon she needs it, she's my sister okay? I get it you guys are together but what more of me when I'm her brother?"
Jeonghan slightly shouts, Vernon just lowers his head
" After lunch, we're seeing her for one last time, I hope you come"
Jeonghan says before leaving the room.
" Oppa I don't wanna stay here!"
Y/n shouts as she punches the Doctor's stomach
" Y/n listen to me please calm down"
I watch from a distance as Hyung was talking to her
" He is touching me without my permission! Vernon! Tell him to get away from me!"
Y/n says looking at me with sadness, I try to resist
" Y/n you need this okay? I'll see you once you're b-"
" No!~," she says crying
" It's scary here! Why would I want to stay in a place so scary!"
She says as she holds Jeonghan Hyung's arms as she cries
Jeonghan breathes in before smiling softly at her and patting her head
" Y-Y/n please listen to me, you won't stay here forever"
Jeonghan says as he tries his best to convince her
" The doctor brainwashed you didn't he? Vernon save me!"
I try to hold back my tears when she said ' save me '
I couldn't do anything, she needed this even though she hated it
she had to bear it, Jeonghan Hyung had to bear it...
I have to bear it "Can't you stay with me?"
she asks as she shakes his arms " No I can't"
Jeonghan says looking at her " But you have to! Vernon, you stay!"
She says screaming " I-I can't either, "
I say in a low tone, she then bursts out crying
" Why! Why is everyone leaving me! Do you hate me!?" she slaps Jeonghan
" No, I don't Y/n it's for your health "
" I'd rather die than b-"
" Don't you dare say that!" Jeonghan shouts at her
she flinches, Jeonghan then let's go of her arms before walking away out the door
" Let's go," Jeonghan says not turning his head facing us
" B-"
" Let's go!" Jeonghan says before opening the door and we follow him out
as Jeonghan closes the door we heard Y/n screaming and shouting with cries following
I started to sob a little but Jeonghan burst out crying on the floor
" Oppa! Why are you leaving me!" We hear her faint screams through the door
" Mian...Mian Oppa won't be there" Jeonghan says softly and sadly
I look at the door as I can just imagine her crying
I bite my bottom lip before giving a hand to Jeonghan to stand up
we both weakly walk outside the hospital

~ 1 and a half year later ~
Today February 18
mine and DK's birthday we both head home after having a little walk outside
as we enter the house everyone jumps and confetti was thrown everywhere
" Happy birthday to you~ Happy birthday to you!"
they all start to sing, me and DK just stood there awkwardly clapping along
after that, we all cheered as the song ended
we walked towards the dining area and see that food was prepared
I and DK sat beside each other as everyone sat afterward
" My gosh, my babies are now 21!" Jeonghan fakely wipes his tears
" shall we eat?" We all nod and started sharing jokes, laughing, and talking while eating
" Okay, so gifts!" Woozi says as he hands out two boxes and hands it out to me and DK
we opened our gifts together and it was Finally Jeonghans turn
" I already gave my gift to DK so here's yours" he handed me his phone
I smile widely as I saw a beautiful person on the screen
" Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday happy birthday! Happy Birthday to you! Yay! Happy birthday Jagiya! I miss you a lot, I'm still kinda mad you aren't here with me but I'll let you off since it's your birthday! I love you!"
The video ends with her showing finger hearts
" Aigoo Vernon is crying," Seungkwan says hugging me as I wipe my tears
" But the question is there really no cake?" Dk asks
" Don't worry it's here~"
We all look towards the hallway and my heart dropped
I ran towards the person who I felt like I haven't seen in forever
Wonwoo holds the cake for her as I hug her tightly
after a while, I started to shower pecks on her face
" Y-You're here!" I exclaim smiling widely
" Of course! Why? Do you think I was gonna miss your birthday party? Vernon-sshi you know I'm the queen of parties"
She flips her hair, she walks towards DK as I back hug her as she walks
she hands him an envelope " here is my birthday gift to you" DK smiles
" Thank God you didn't forget about me" He touches his chest and sighs
" So you cooked all the food?"
I asked her as I helped her clean the mess while the rest were either washing the dishes or cleaning other areas
" Yeah while you and DK were out me and Jeonghan spent a little bit of time together before I helped them with the birthday party"
She smiles, I look at her and my heart softened " You feel like a different person" I tell her
" Was I really that bad when I was unstable?" I shake my head
" No! You just seem more light-hearted " I look at her
she was smiling more, her voice was softer
she didn't always shout when she spoke or she wouldn't have that face where she seemed like she was annoyed at everything
" I'm sorry..." She raises an eyebrow when she looked at me
" Why are you sorry?" I hug her and she wraps her arms around my neck
" For leaving you in the hospital without saying I love you" She chuckles
" Well it was painful and scary, but after a while, I felt more at ease than I was before, so it was pretty helpful" She smiles looking at me
" Well there were times where I missed you and Jeonghan and the others a lot but I was happy to know when I see you again I was a new person, still Y/n but brighter you know?"
I smiled " I like to see you smile," I say as I pinch her cheeks
" Well good you will be seeing it more often now"
She pats my chest before she started to clean again
" Happy birthday Vernon," She tells me as she places some icing on my nose
" Yah!"
