Ella wrapped her arms round a rope tightly as she braced herself for what would be a rough landing of the ship
Ella looked over to Hook who was steering and said, "I would like to survive the trip back to see Will so please don't kill us landing this thing."
"My name is Captain for a reason." Hook said steering the ship to go down
Ella just glared at him and shook her head

Everyone looked shocked when they saw Ella walk off the boat next to David, and as soon as she stepped off the boat she was tackled into a hug by Wil, who was saying, "I only came here because I didn't feel anything I didn't think you would actually be alive! How are you alive?! Not that I'm complaining I've never been happier to see you!"
Peter watched the pair hug as he held back a glare thinking, "So that's the brother she's linked too."
As Will let go of Ella she was then pulled into a hug by Ruby.
"You're alive!?" Ruby said when she let go of Ella
Ella smiled and nodded her head saying, "Course I am I wasn't going to leave you guys all alone now was I?"
Ella then looked over to Mary Margaret who was standing talking to a red head, she then turned back to Will and said, "Is that?"
Will nodded, grabbed Ella's hand and pulled her over to Mary Margaret
"Ella, you remember Ariel right?" Will said as they walked over to them
"You two know each other?" Mary Margaret asked
"Yeah, she's the only mermaid I can tolerate." Ella said with a smile, she turned to look at Eric, "See you got your princess."
"That I do." Eric said with a nod
Ella smiled and said, "Good."
Ella discreetly snuck away from all the people who were hugging and reuniting and walked over to the edge of the pier where Will was sitting at the edge looking at the ocean.
"What you doing?" Ella asked sitting down beside him
"What happened? Where did you go?" He asked
"Why do you think I'm here and not dead Will?" Ella said
"You got to Neverland." He said with wide eyes and Ella nodded
"Then Peter tried to kill Henry so we had to put him in a box for eternity, he messed with my head to make me think I was going insane to keep me occupied and away from Henry, I got concussion on multiple occasions." Ella said, "Shall I go on." She said with a smile.
Will chuckled stood up and said, "Nope, I don't care how you're here I just care that you are." He held his hand out and Ella took it and they began to walk over to David when Ella heard
"How do you feel?" Mary Margaret said looking at David
"Pretty good, actually, I think the water must be working." David said with a nod
Hook who was now standing next to Ella said, "Aye, it is the dreamshade overtook my brother the moment we left Neverland."
"Gold will find a cure you'll be okay." Mary Margaret said with a smile
Ella raised her eyebrows as she said, "Wait, hold up what's all this about dreamshade and cures did someone forget to tell me something?"
David sighed and said, "I'll tell you later."
Ella nodded and said, "Yeah you will."
"I have to admit, there was a minute there I was afraid we weren't all going to get out of the place." Emma said
Will noticed how Ella tensed hearing what Emma said and rubbed her arm and rested his head on her shoulder. Making Peter yet again glare at him
"Well we did." David said with a nod
Mary Margaret then spoke up saying, "And we owe a lot of it to her," Regina looked up, "Regina helped save us all."
Regina looked slightly panicked and she looked over to Ella who just winked and nodded reassuring her
Regina straightened up slightly and after a few more minutes of everyone talking and Ella telling Will everything that had happened they started walking back to Granny's where there was going to be a welcome home party.
Ella, Will, David, Gold and Belle stood in front of the ship looking up at the shadow as David said, "So what about the shadow?"
"Don't worry it's trapped. Just as it was in the candle, and the only person that can free it is safely in here." Gold said shaking the box
They all watched as Ella then walked off Will waited for a minute gave David a look than ran after her, as soon as they were gone David said, "We need to be careful about what we say around her."
"She just lost the man she loved again, she's heartbroken." Mary Margaret said standing beside David,
"She's going to be a bit more harsher now, when we were on Neverland she said she lost control once who knows if she might loose control again." Emma said
Neal shook his head and said, "No, she has Will this time and hopefully he can help her." They all looked over to Will and Ella who had been pulled into a hug by Will at the edge of the pier.
Ella turned around and was confused to see why Henry was talking to Felix.
She knew that Henry was acting a bit off
"He mom, Dad what about Felix? He's still free." Peter said looking a bit scared
Ella raised an eyebrow and walked over to them just as the rest of the group did
Regina stood in front of Felix saying, "Henry's right we can't just let Felix walk away freely."
"This is Felix?" Ella heard Will whisper to her and she nodded
"Oh don't worry we've got plenty of cell space for this guy ." David said as he grabbed Felix by the arm
Ella then felt like someone was watching her, she looked to her right and saw Henry staring at her.
She winked at him as Emma said, "You're safe now Henry."

Ella sat on the edge of her bed brushing her newly cleaned hair.
Regina, Gold, Emma, Henry and Mary Margaret had gone to Gold's shop they could lock Peter up somewhere no one could find him not even Ella.
Mary Margaret had told her to go to the apartment to get cleaned up but in reality she knew that they wanted her out of the way so she had no idea where Peter was.
Ella looked over to the mirror that was in the corner of her room, grabbed the closest thing she could find and threw it at the mirror as hard as she could
She took deep breaths trying to calm down but all that came out were tears.
Ella felt broken
She had helped save Henry's heart
But she lost her own in the process
Will then came running into the room and saw his sister he sighed and sat next to her saying, "I know, I know. Just let it out it'll help trust me."
Ella continued to cry into Will's shoulder
She had just found Peter again, and then she lost him again all because he wanted to be immortal
To be honest Ella wanted to kill him when she found out he needed Henry's heart to survive another part wanted to smile, hug and kiss him because he found the way that he wouldn't die
The other part felt absolutely nothing
. . . .
Peter watched as Ella and Will walked into the diner and immediately went straight over to the counter. Granny placed two shots in front of them they clinked them together and drank them down all in one.
He was confused as to why Ella would drink like that but his thoughts were interrupted by Emma placing a book in front of him on the table.
"Well don't be too excited. Neal still had it in his room and we thought you'd want it." Emma said with a smile
Peter looked down at the book with the title, Once upon a time.
He looked up when Emma said, "Especially since you just lived a fairy-tale of your own."
Emma looked up at him and narrowed her eyes when he didn't seem that excited, and Peter quickly placed a smile on his face saying, "Right. Thanks."
Peter then opened the boko and began to read some of the pages

Ella was sitting at the counter alone as Will had gone home clearly having too much to drink when Ruby came over to the bar and said, "How the hell is one of my best friends over three hundred years old?"
"Woah, what... news travels fast around here." Ella said with a small smile
"Hi I'm Ruby or Red." Ruby said as Tinkerbell sat beside Ella
Seeing that Tinkerbell looked confused Ella turned to her and said, "Her Enchanted Forest name is Red and her curse name is Ruby call her what you want."
Tinkerbell smiled and said, "Okay, Ruby nice too meet you." She looked over at Ella and said, "It's good to see you again too."
Ella smirked and said, "Well I don't hear that a lot normally it's a scream with why are you back!"
Tinkerbell smiled turned to Ruby and said, "We were friends back in Neverland."
Ruby's eyes widened and said, "You were in Neverland... that Neverland." Ella nodded and took another shot, "So where's this Peter I've heard about."
"Locked in a box somewhere in Gold's shop because he tried to kill us all and take Henry's heart." Ella said bluntly
"... That's that Peter?"
Tinkerbell nodded and Ruby sighed saying, "Ella, I'm-"
Ella cut her off saying, "-If you even mutter the word sorry I swear to God Ruby I don't care if you're one of my only friends I will kill you I have heard that phrase too many times today."
"Okay... how about how are you feeling?" Ruby cautiously asked
Ella gave her a small smile and said, "I'll let you know when I figure that out."
Ella sighed and stood up walking over to Henry, sitting down in front of him
He looked up as soon as she sat down and said, "Hey Ella"
Ella span the book around and said, "You're in the Wonderland part?" Peter nodded and Ella continued looking at the picture, "I remember that I was being chased by the collectors and had to hide in a very cramped tree for over four hours."
Ella span the book back round to Henry and she noticed that she wasn't getting the usual reaction
Noticing Ella staring at him Peter said, "I forgot that part." With a smile
"Really? You love that part you find it funny that I had to hide inside the trunk of a tree."
"It is funny." Peter said with a smile and looked over when Emma walked over
"Sorry Kid. It's time for something you didn't have in Neverland." Peter looked confused, "Bedtime,"
Peter smiled sadly as he closed the boko and stood up.
"It's going to be hard to let you out of my sight." Ella heard Regina say whilst she was walking over to the counter to get some coffee from Ruby
"Maybe you don't have to. Maybe I could stay with you tonight?" Peter said to Regina Which caused Ella to quickly spin around shocked
Regina looked just as shocked as she said, "Oh, of course."
"Yeah, just call me tomorrow and let me know what time you want me to pick you up." Emma said with a small smile
As soon as Henry and Regina walked out of the Diner Ella walked over to a booth that was free, placed her coffee on the table and sat down.
Ella looked up when Emma sat down and said, "Ella if you need anything you know you can talk to me, I know what it feels like to have your heart broken."
Ella chuckled and said, "No you don't you have no idea what I'm feeling. I've loved Peter for over three centuries your heart was just broken mine feels like it has been trampled on by elephants, thrown into an incinerator then put back in my chest. What you felt when Neal left you is nothing compared to what I'm feeling. So for the love of God don't compare your pain to mine."
"Ella... your heart I asked if you had it in, and you were very... sceptical can you answer properly?" Emma asked
Ella shook her head, stood up and walked out of the diner leaving a very confused Emma behind.

Peter walked over to his bed when he saw Regina walk in and said, "Mom, your vault... did you bring that over with you?"
Regina walked over to the bed saying, "Yes Henry, you know that."
"With all your magic?" Peter asked again
Regina crossed her arms and said, "Why are you asking all these questions?"
"Because I might need that stuff to protect myself against Pan." Peter said trying to sound like Henry
Regina fell for it as she said, "Oh honey, he can't hurt you he's locked up in Gold's shop."
"But what if he gets out? What if he... finds a way to come after me." Peter stated
Regina sighed and sat down next to him saying, "Magic isn't the answer. My vault is sealed shut for a reason. It's dangerous I'll protect you, and we all know that Ella will too. No matter what."
Regina stood up and placed the book on the top of a cabinet saying, "Now it's time for you to go to bed."
Peter got into bed and when Regina had pulled up the covers she pushed his hair back and kissed him on the cheek. Peter wanted to pull away
He didn't like anyone but Ella kissing him and it made him feel uncomfortable.
"Goodnight." Regina said as she walked towards the door.
She smiled at him and turned off the lights as she left the room, and as soon as the door was shut, Peter got out of bed and walked towards the window.
He opened the window up leaning down so his head was out the window
He smirked saying, "She's wrong, Magic is the answer... it's time."

"Morning." Ella said with a small smile as she sat down at the booth that had Will drinking coffee at it
"Don't even say it." Will groaned
"Headache?" Ella guessed with a smirk taking great enjoyment from how hungover her brother was
Will replied with, "You have no idea."
Ella laughed leaned leaned over the bar and put her hand on the side of his head
"What are you-"
Ella cut Will off saying, "Trust me."
Where Ella had her hand on his head there was a red light outlining her hand, when she pulled her hand away she said, "Better?"
"...Very, you're getting good aren't you." Will said with a smile and Ella nodded, "Let's go to the woods I need to relearn using a sword."
"Okay, let's go." Ella said grabbing her quiver and putting it over her shoulder as she put her bow across her. Will picked up his sword and walked out.
They walked out the Diner and walked across the road towards the woods.
But then they heard a scream.
Ella looked at Will confirming that he had heard it too and they ran back over the street to Emma, Tinkerbell, Hook and David who were already there.
"What the hell was that?" Emma asked as she got out of the truck
"I was thinking the same thing." Will said leaning on the front of the truck
Ella raised her eyebrows at Hook and Tinkerbell saying, "Wait, were you two-"
Hook cut Ella off saying, "Maybe-" Just as Tinkerbell said, "No"
Ella shook her head just as they all heard the scream again,
David looked to his left saying, "There."
They all ran after him as they headed towards the nunnery
They turned the corner just in time to see the shadow rip Mother Superiors shadow off of her back
Ella took a deep breath at the sight of it, but her eyes moved back to the dead fairy on the floor.
David kneeled down beside her as Ella looked to the sky wondering how the shadow even got free.
Ella looked back down at the fairy when David said, "She's gone."
Ella looked up at Will as Tinkerbell said, "Why would the shadow kill her?"
"I have no idea love but I do know that the shadow only takes orders from one person." Hook stated
Emma looked scared as she said, "Pan."
After a few minutes Mary Margaret and Neal arrived both standing next to Ella who was sitting on the steps of the nunnery next to Will who was doing the same. Watching as David and Emma covered up Mother Superiors body.
"What the hell happened?" Regina said walking towards them with Henry
"The shadow killed her." David said standing up
Regina looked confused as she said, "Pan's shadow? Me and Ella trapped it in the sail."
"Yeah well it got free." Emma said as she looked down at the body
Neal then spoke up saying, "Look, let's go back to the ship and get the candle. If it strikes again we need to be able to capture it."
Neal, Tinkerbell and Hook left as Emma stood up saying, "Pans behind this I know it."
"But he's trapped under the floor of Golds shop."
Emma sighed and said, "Well who else could it be."
At the same time everyone except Will turned their heads towards Ella
Ella glared at them all and said, "Your kidding right? Yeah that thing kind of listened to me but it also creeped the bejesus out of me. And besides I kind of liked Mother Superior even though fairies annoy me why would I use the shadow to kill her?"
"So Pan can still hurt me?" Peter asked
Ella ran her hand through her hair and said, "We don't know that."
Mary Margaret cut her off saying, "Well, we have to assume he's still a threat."
"And that he's after Henry." Emma finished
Henry then immediately asked, "Then what am I doing here?"
"He's right he's not safe out in the open." David agreed
Henry looked at Regina and said, "You'll protect me right?"
Regina nodded and pulled him close to her as she said, "Yes, of course."
Ella saw Emma look away from them and Ella smirked saying, "Guess you now know how Regina felt."
Emma shot glare and then turned to Regina saying, "Go, we'll take care of the shadow."
"Can Ella come?" Henry asked stopping Regina
Ella stood up saying, "No, I'm gonna stay here, they might need someone with magic."
"Regina wait!" Emma said as Henry went up to hug Ella
Ella looked down at Henry and said, "It's gonna be okay you know? Your mum will protect you."
Ella was cut off by hearing Regina saying, "-That's exactly what you meant. You can't face the fact that I'm his mother too," Ella rolled her eyes and covered Henry's ears, "And maybe just maybe he wants me when he's frightened, you forget that I have ten years of soothing nightmares under my belt, he'll be fine."
"It's not about you Regina. I just have a gut feeling." Emma said
Regina gave Emma a look and said, "Well maybe you can use that gut feeling to find the shadow instead of obsessing who's going to comfort out son."
Ella uncovered Henry's ears and said, "You do know that right now that would be me?" They both turned to look at Ella, "Stop arguing in front of Henry, just go do some useful things before I hit you both round the head and make this an even worse day."

Ella, Emma, David and Mary Margaret ran down the pavement towards Gold's shop just as Gold and Belle were walking out of it
Gold saw them and said, "I'm afraid we're closed, whatever crisis you're dealing with. I'm done for the day."
"Rumple." Belle scolded
Emma didn't give anyone a chance to say anything else as she said, "Pandora's box give it me."
"Why would I do that?" Gold asked
"We need to open it." Emma stated
"And let Pan escape? What are you crazy?" Gold said looking at the group Ella in particular
"Yes I am, somehow he's controlling the shadow from inside the box." Ella explained
Gold looked at her saying, "And you think letting Pan out will change that?"
"Yes. because we can stop him finally and forever." Emma said as Ella stiffened knowing what she was thinking
Gold sighed and said, "In all due respect, Ms Swan we barely succeeded in apprehending him the first time we only did that because Miss Scarlett knows him better than anyone. If I've I learned one thing. It's not to tempt fate."
"I'm not looking to apprehend him. Wouldn't you rather be sure he's gone?"
"What do you have in mind." Gold said as David put his hand on Ella's shoulder

Ella jumped out of the back of David's truck as Emma and Mary Margaret and David got out the front, Gold and Belle got out of Gold's car.
Ella stood at the town line, looking at the red line as Gold said, "There's no magic beyond the town line. If we release Pan outside of Storybrooke, he'll be powerless to fight back."
"Bloody Brilliant." Ella said sarcastically
Mary Margaret wrapped an arm around Ella's shoulders just as Emma stopped Gold from walking across the line, saying, "Uh, Uh I'm doing this."
"I can cross the line and retain my memories." Gold insisted
Emma sighed and said, "It's not about that. There's no magic over there. With all due respect the real world is my expertise." Emma turned around and grabbed her gun., "I'm gonna deal with Pan on my terms."
"Oh bloody hell." Ella quietly said when she saw the gun in Emma's hands
"He is my father." Gold said
"It's my hunch. If I fail, you're more than welcome to pick up the pieces." Emma said
Mary Margaret gripped David's hand saying, "Emma be careful."
Emma nodded then nodded at Ella, who shook her head and said, "I'm not going to use it but sure." She armed her bow pulling back the string aiming at the red mist that was starting to look like a human body.
Everyone stepped back except Ella and Emma.
Ella noticed immediately at instead of being angry Peter was very confused
He looked around at David and Mary Margaret and looked at Ella and Emma with wide eyes seeing that they had a gun and a bow to him.
"Mom?" Peter asked as he looked at Emma
Ella scrunched up her eyebrows in confusion, and de armed bow and put it back over her shoulder
Emma shared the confusion saying, "What?"
"What are you waiting for shoot him." Gold demanded
Peter looked at Gold and said, "Don't please I'm Henry. Pan he-he switched our bodies-"
Emma cut Peter off saying, "You expect me to believe that?"
"Don't listen to him, this is one of his tricks." Gold said
Peter looked desperate now, and Ella had never seen him look like that before as he said, "No it's not! He did it right before Mr Gold captured me in the box I swear."
Peter started to walk closer to Emma, but she stopped him saying, "Stop! Don't come any closer."
"Shoot him." Gold demanded again
Emma narrowed her eyes saying, "Maybe he's telling the truth maybe that's why I have this feeling something's off about Henry."
"Maybe that's what he wants you to believe. If he steps over this line we're all dead." Gold stressed
Ella ran her hand through her hair as Emma said, "Alright if you're Henry tell me something that only Henry would know."
"I-I got trapped in the mines and that's how Ella got her limp before, I tried blowing up the well. I like hot cocoa with cinnamon." Peter tried
"This proves nothing." Gold said
"He's right Emma Henry could've told Pan all of this in Neverland-"
Ella cut Mary Margaret off by saying, "No, Henry tried as hard as he could to stay away from Pan and to be with me when I wasn't... occupied and besides why would Henry tell Pan how he likes his cocoa?"
"You just don't want your love to die." Gold snapped,
Ella glared at him and quickly threw her dagger in his direction which missed his head by an inch
"Ella!." Belle said with wide eyes, "Don't do that!" She yelled
Ella held up her hand and her dagger came flying back and straight into her hand, "Say anything like that again and I won't miss."
Ella then noticed that Peter had crossed the town line and was hugging David and Mary Margaret.
She raised an eyebrow and Emma said, "He's Henry, you were too busy trying to kill Gold to see him prove it."
"So you're telling me that Peter and Henry have... switched bodies? Wonderful." Ella said ignoring Emma's comment
Henry looked over to Ella and she smiled saying, "Come here kid."
Henry smiled and ran over to her and hugged her as Gold said, "I'm sorry I doubted you Henry, and I'm sorry I put you in this box in the first place."
"It's okay I would've done the same thing." Henry said with a smile
Henry and Emma started walking to the truck and Ella who was standing next to David said, "One thing is bothering me." Emma and Henry stopped to look at her, "If Henry's all the way out here... then where's Peter?"

"Regina's still not answering," Emma said as she put her phone back in her pocket
Henry then spoke up saying, "When we find Pan, remember he's still in my body. So if you have to... throw a fireball or something... at least avoid the face."
The made Ella laugh as Gold said, "I'll do my best."
When they made it to Regina's crypt they saw Neal, Hook and Tinkerbell at the front
Neal was trying to pick the lock of the door when he turned around and saw them walking towards them
Neal looked uneasy as he said, "Is it really you?"
"Dad!" Henry yelled, running towards Neal
David then asked Hook and Tinkerbell, "Did you find the shadow?"
"Not yet." Tinkerbell said
Hook nodded holding up the candle saying, "But we'll be ready for him when we do."
"I think it's Pan we should be concerned about now. Why are we still up here?" Gold said as he walked towards the door.
Neal sighed saying, "It's locked up tight."
"Really?" Gold asked holding up his hand
They all watched as his hand shook then he pulled away
Neal nodded saying, "Told ya."
"Fair enough, this is gonna take some time." Gold said as he held his hand up again
Ella watched as Henry was talking to Hook and Tinkerbell when he turned around and said, "What?"
"I just- You look- this whole situation is weird and very disturbing for me." Ella said walking over to Gold and standing next to him, "Need help."
"Yes." Gold reluctantly said
Gold held up his hands against the crypt and Ella did the same and within seconds the door was unlocked
"Sometimes you need a bit of my magic." Ella said with a smile and Gold rolled his eyes
"Shall we?" Gold said to the people behind them
They all headed in and everyone stayed back as Emma and David went in first
"We're clear down here." Emma yelled and everyone walked down the stairs
When Ella walked into the room she saw Gold leaning over Regina doing a spell then she woke up with a start.
Regina sat up saying, "What happened?"
"It's Henry somehow Pan switched bodies with him." Emma explained
Regina scowled as she said, "And I fell for it."
"We all did." Ella stated
Regina sighed saying, "I wanted to believe what he was saying so badly that I missed all the signs- I just wanted to believe that he still needed me to be his mother."
"I still do." Henry spoke up from where he was standing next to Ella
"Henry?" Regina asked
Henry nodded and walked over to her and hugged her tightly
Ella looked over to David as he said, "So what exactly did Pan come down here to get?"
Gold waved his hand over a small box, but all of a sudden his hand shot back
"Please tell me you didn't keep it down here." Gold asked
"Where else would I keep it." Regina asked sounding slightly worried
Ella, who had now caught on said, "Not where someone would expect, your fruit bowl, your fridge not your vault of magic."
"What is is? What did Pan take?" Emma asked
Gold sighed and said, "The curse."
Emma paled and said, "Wait wait the curse."
"Yes that curse." Regina answered
Ella sighed as Regina said, "Why would Pan even want the curse I already cast it."
"And I broke it." Emma said
Gold gave them a look and said, "Doesn't mean he can't cast it again. And this time without your parents true love woven into it even you would be powerless to break it."
"I don't understand, we're already in this land." David said
Mary Margaret caught on saying, "What exactly would casting the curse in Storybrooke do now?"
"Guys... the curse needs the heart of thing the caster loves most, who does Peter love the most." Ella said quietly leaning on some boxes looking scared
"You." Mary Margaret whispered and Ella slowly nodded
