This takes place after Chapter fifteen and the bonus chapters
Kion is mastering his roar with Ono, Kion has mastered a lot of abilities the roar can do, he does another one forming a small and short storm far east, "Kion, you mastered that one too." Ono said
"Yes I did, we could use that if there is a huge fire." Kion said
"I like to remind you, it's been three say, six hours and forty-five minutes since you last slept, I suggest you take a rest now." Ono said
"Ono, I told you to not suggest me that." Kion said
"Sorry Kion but I just want you to be well when there is suddenly another attack here." Ono said
"I'm fine Ono, now lets see how everyone is doing." Kion said
Ono gives Kion a look as he walks off, than he flies to behind him, "Why won't you sleep Kion?" Ono asked
"It's personal Ono." Kion said
"Is it your nightmares again?" Ono asked
"Let's just focus on patrol." Kion said
A few minutes later, Kion has having a hard time keeping his eyes open, he was so unfocused, he runs over Fuli, "Hey watch where you going." Fuli yelled
"Sorry Fuli, I'm just tired." Kion said
"I've noticed, when was the last time you slept?" Fuli asked
"That's not the problem right now, we need to make sure everything is fine." Kion said
Fuli looks at Anga, "Anga, go get Rani." she ordered
Anga flies off to go find Rani, Kion looks around and sees Bunga isn't around, "Hey, where is Bunga?" he asked
"He's with Binga right now." Fuli said
"Why, we are on patrol." Kion said
"Kion, he's worked hard today, he deserves it." Fuli said
Kion looks away and continues on his patrol, Amala pops out of the bush, "Goah ya." she said
"Oh hey, how it's going Amala?" Kion asked
Amala looks at Kion's eyes, "Um are you okay Kion?" she asked
Kion gives a look at Amala, Fuli steps in the way, "Kion is just tired today, in fact, I think I should take over today." she said
"No way Fuli, I can do this." Kion said
"Okay if you say so." Fuli said
"Mom, is Kion going to be okay?" Amala asked
"I don't know, it's been awhile since he slept." Fuli said
"Don't we need sleep?" Amala asked
"Always, that's why I gotten Anga to get Rani to at least convince him tonight." Fuli said
"The queen?" Amala asked
"Yes daughter, the queen." Fuli said
"No Mom, not to your question, the queen is right there." Amala said
"You're right, she must be convincing him." Fuli said
"Kion, Anga told me you are having trouble focusing and I've not seen you sleep in a long time." she said
"I'm fine Rani, I was just having trouble focusing that was it." Kion said
"Actually, it's not about all of that, I was wondering if you would go to the lake with me tonight." Rani said
"Oh, sure, I would love to." Kion said
"Than it's a date, see you tonight." Rani licks Kion's cheek,
Kion smiles as Rani walks to Fuli, "Rani, what did you tell him?" Fuli asked
"I asked him to hang with me tonight, don't worry, I plan to have him sleep tonight." Rani said
"Thanks, he needs it." Fuli said
"I know, I suggest you take over until he is well again." Rani said
"I've been trying to do that." Fuli said
"Hey Kion, let Fuli take over today, there is some new animals that need escorting around." Rani said
"Okay, I'll look for these new animals." Kion said
"They are at the forest." Rani said
Kion walks towards the trees to meet the new animals, "That was easy." Fuli said
"I was originally going to do that but that was the only way for you to take over." Rani said
Rani walks off, Fuli and the others continue on patrol, so far not much was going on and patrol was easier than usual, after patrol, Fuli had extra time to spend with her cubs and to give Azaad a break, this also gave time for Beshte to talk to other animals.
To Fuli
Fuli walks over to Azaad, "How it's going Azaad?" she asked
"Same as usual, Zaza running around and Azaad chasing her around." he said
"Of course, well, I have some extra time today, so you can go take a break." Fuli said
"Azaad doesn't need a break, what Azaad needs is spend time with you and his cubs." he said
"Okay Azaad, if you say so." Fuli said
"Zaza comes up with a flower in her mouth, she drops it in front of Azaad, "Daddy look what I've found." she said
"Ah, you brought Azaad a flower." he said
"Yes daddy, a flower you." Zaza said
"You know what, how about Azaad gives it to mom since flowers are more of a girl thing." he said
"No daddy, I got it just for you and you only." Zaza said
"Come on dad, too afraid to be have a girl thing." Amala said
"Wow, that was good one." Fuli said
"Ha, Azaad is never afraid." he said
"Than put it on your ear." Amala said
"Here daddy, let me help you." Zaza picks up the flower and runs up Azaad's back and puts it on his ear, "Oh look, daddy is now a princess." she said
Azaad has a grumpy look on his face, Fuli laughs, "Well he's more of Nirmala than a princess." she said
"Azaad is not a girl or a princess." he said
"Alright, take the flower off, that enough teasing your father." Fuli said
"Oh but mom, it's funny." Zaza wined
Fuli takes the flower off of Azaad's ear, "I said that's enough teasing him." Fuli said
"Mom, can I have the flower?" Amala asked
"Sure sweetie." Fuli puts the flower and Amala's ear,
"Yay I love it." Amala said
"Hey let's play in the snow today." Fuli said
"Yes, I love to play in the snow." Zaza said jumping around
"There better not be any water." Amala said
"Um snow is water." Azaad said
"No it's not daddy, it something to have fun with, it just turns into water." Zaza said
"Come on, lets just go play in the snow." Fuli said.
To Bunga
Bunga is playing tag with Binga, "Goah ya Bunga." she said running away.
"Oh no you don't." Bunga chases Binga around the area, Bunga runs past Kion escorting the new animals around the Tree of Life, "Hi Kion bye Kion." he yelled
"Who was that?" One of the animals said
"It's just Bunga, don't mind him he the least of your worries." Kion said
"Can't get me Bunga, I'm too fast." Binga said
"Not fast enough." Bunga catches up to Binga and tags her.
"You got me, now let me get you." Binga looks around but Bunga is already nowhere to be seen, Bunga, where are you." Binga continues to look around for Bunga,
"You can't find me anywhere." Bunga said
Binga starts following the sound to Bunga's voice, as she gotten near to his hiding place, Bunga jumps out of the bush and pins her to the ground, "Got ya again."
"Actually, I was it so I got you." Binga said
"Stop, I hear something." Bunga said
"Shoot" leaves falls he a small brown animal runs through them, Bunga could not figure out what it was but he decided to just leave it be and resume playing with Binga, "Alright, it was just an animal." he said
"Oh and you're it." Binga runs away
"You cheater." Bunga chased Binga.
To Rani
The sun is setting, Rani is at the lake waiting for Kion to show up, the sun fully sets, Rani is starting to wonder if Kion is never going to show up, she lays down and Kion shows up, "Sleeping already." he said
"No, just waiting for you, what took you so long?" Rani asked
"I just got out from the meeting from the night pride, we switched shifts." Kion said
"Any news on Sabor?" Rani asked
"He's still with his family, but the night pride has Ullu with them." Kion said
Rani looks up, "Good, they need her, there is a new moon so light will not be much tonight." Rani said
"Yeah new moon, you know, I've looked at the paintings before the meeting, assuming that I read the paintings correctly, there is going to be a solar eclipse in a few days." Kion said
"That would be cool to watch." Rani said
"Yeah it would be" Kion looks at the moon setting behind the sun, Rani also sees it
"Wow, it look like the moon is pointing at the sunset." Rani said
"Yep and eventually it will be blocking the sun." Kion said
Rani lays her head on Kion's shoulder, "You know how much I love you right?" Rani asked
"I'm guessing the love is over the mountains." Kion said
"More like over the ninth cloud." Rani said
"What, there's only two layers of clouds" Kion said
Rani playfully slaps Kion on the face, "You wish Kion." she said
Kion smiles, "Oh I know so" he said
Rani looks Kion mane, "Have you noticed you mane is now growing out of your chest." she said
"Yes, Fuli's cub Amala never stops talking about it." Kion said
"She's not the only one that's going to talk about it." Rani runs her paw down Kion's mane.
"That tickles Rani stop." Kion said
"But your man is just so soft, and it's only starting to grow." Rani lays Kion on his back,
"Rani, what's going on?" Kion asked
Rani didn't give an answer, instead she just bites his ear, Kion immediately knew what was about to happen and immediately gets back up, "Kion, come on." Rani said
"Rani, that was too close, I don't want any cubs." Kion said
"Why Kion, the attack was over for a long time, Ajax and his group are no longer a threat, it should be safe now." Rani said
"I know but I'm still having issues, I've been getting nightmares, and this one is different." Kion said
"Different how?" Rani asked
"Most of my nightmares were about the future, but now this one is about the past, it's been lasting since we took our home back, at first it was last but now it's to a point to where I can't sleep at all." KIon explained
"You can't sleep at all, what is in this nightmare?" Rani asked
"Remember when I created that tornado?" Kion asked
"What about it?" Rani asked
"Well that tornado frightened me, I actually got into the eye of the storm, I stayed calm through the whole thing, but obviously I haven't gotten over it because of these nightmares and now it's to a point to where I can't sleep." Kion said
Rani slowly walk up to Kion, "Well maybe only having cubs will get rid of these nightmares." Rani said
"I don't think so." Kion said
"Well then let me help you sleep." Rani lays Kion back down, "Don't worry, no cubs." Rani licks Kion's face and runs her paw down his mane,
"You're tickling me again." Kion said
"Keep complaining I'll start using my claws." Rani said
This goes on for a few minutes, Kion edventally closes his eyes and falls asleep, Rani is still thinking about cubs but she also knows that Kion isn't ready yet, she lays her head on Kion's mane and easily falls asleep on his soft mane.
Two hours later
Kion starts moving around but he's not awake, his nightmare reappeared, Rani wakes up and immediately noticed Kion's nightmare has reappeared, Rani puts her paw on Kion head, she got a glimpse of what Kion is dreaming about, she sees him taken into the tornado and sticks flying at him, Rani gets out of Kion's dream, she screams a little, she looks at her paw wondering what just happened, she looks over at Kion is still twitching in his nightmare,
"Kion, it's okay, I'm here, you are in the eye of the storm." Rani whispered in Kion's ear
Kion stops twitching, she looks to see if Kion is still sleeping and he still is, Rani puts her paw back on Kion's head, she enters Kion's dream, the eye of the storm, she gets out of it and falls back asleep.
The next morning
Kion gets up, he sees Rani drinking water from the lake, she gets up and looks over at Kion, "Oh good morning sleepy head, slept well last night?" she asked
"Sure did, best night I've had in a long time." Kion said
"I've noticed, and lets say I helped a little." Rani said
"What did you do?" Kion asked
"I put my paw on your head and saw your nightmare, than I arranged it by speaking to you, it feels like I have the power to go into dream." Rani said
"If Ezekiel was still here he would be able to figure it out." Kion said
"Kion, we don't need him, Makini has his staff, we will just go to he." Rani said
"Oh right, maybe she can use it to figure it out." Kion said
To Makini
Makini is painting, all the attacks at the Tree of Life has been painted on the walls, Makini starts hearing Rani's voice, "Makini, we need you." she said
Makini comes down from her tree, "What's going on queen Rani?" she asked
"I think something is going on with my paw, I put it on Kion's head and saw his dream." Rani said
"Here let me take a look." Makini said
"Do you need your staff Makini?" Kion asked
Makini puts her hand into air and Ezekiel's staff appears in her hand, "Makini, how did you do that?" Kion asked
"It's cool isn't it, I figured that out not too long ago." Makini said
"Makini, just figure out what going on with my paw." Rani said
Makini puts the staff near Rani's paw, green lines is all over her paw and gets up to her head, "Rani, I think you can see others dreams, I think that is your power." Makini said
"My power? I have a power?" Rani asked
"Yes, just like how Kion's roar is his power, your power is going into dreams and I guess my power is to figure out what powers what animals have." Kion said
Fuli runs up, "Kion, ready to start patrol?" she asked
"Fuli, let me see what your power is." Makini puts the staff near Fuli, but nothing happened, "Um, guess you don't have any powers." she said
"Um yeah, I have speed, who needs powers when you have speed." Fuli said
"Because I figured out Rani can go into dreams." Makini said
"More like I can see them, I really can't go into them or else I'll be speaking to them." Rani said
"Oh yeah, forgot that little detail." Makini said
"Well anyway, Kion, you're coming or what?" Fuli asked
"I'll go with you Fuli." Kion said
"Hold on, Kion you go, I need to talk to Fuli." Rani said
"Alright, I'll see you there Fuli." Kion said
"What's going on Rani?" Fuli asked
"Well, ever since you've had cubs, I've been wanting to have cubs as well, but Kion doesn't want them right now." Rani said
"I don't blame him, cubs are a handful, I had to take weeks off of patrol just to be with them." Fuli said
I know that, but there are so many benefits from them, but I just can't get him to want to have any." Rani said
"Maybe I can convince him to have cubs, but I not going to force him to, if he doesn't feel ready than I can't do anything." Fuli said
"If you can, that'll be great, but if you can't than no worries, it just means I'll have to wait longer." Rani said
"Remember, if he does decide, than he is going to put you on some pretty heavy restriction like he did to me." Fuli said
Makini walks up, "Sorry to over hear but you are and Kion are thinking about having cubs?" she asked
"I have no idea Makini, and please, keep it down." Rani ordered
"Ah but they will be so cute, oh what are they going to be names, no wait don't tell me, it's going to be." Makini said before getting interrupted
"Makini, we don't know yet, and don't make names for us, I want me and him to decide on the names." Rani said
"Oh sorry, here I'll go back into my tree." Makini climbs into the dream, she drops the staff and it disappears into thin air
Rani and Fuli walks away together, a familiar voice comes from the bush, "Kion and Rani having cubs, this would be interesting to watch"
To Kion
Kion has started patrol with his friends, Ono flies down and looks at his eyes, "Glad to see you're well rested today Kion." he said
"Much better, I was lucky Rani was able to." Kion stopped himself
"Rani was able to do what?" Ono asked
"Nevermind, it just helped me with my dream." Kion said
"Whatever you say Kion." Ono flies off
Kion starts patrol with his group, a few minutes later, Fuli runs up to Kion, "Kion, come with me, I need to talk to you." she said
"Okay, Anga take over until I come back." Kion ordered
"Yep, alright over here." Anga ordered
"Beshte and Bunga follow Anga as she commanded, but Anga noticed something familiar in the bushes, she has decided to loom at it, "Ono, I need you to take over, I found something strange." she ordered
"Well I've never been the leader before." Ono said
"Come on Ono, being the leader is easy." Bunga said
"Not as easy as you think Bunga, you have to make sure everything is running smoothly." Ono said
"He's right little B, being the leader is not easy." Beshte said
"Fine if you two say so." Bunga said
To Anga
Anga flies around looking for the animal, it keeps moving to where she can't see it, "Come out, I know you're in there." she ordered
The bush moves as the animal runs off into the other bush, "Anga only sees the tail of the animal and immediately knows who it is. "Florian" Anga flies to the bush to where he is but he already running to a tree, Anga sees Florian and flies to him, Florian starts climbing the tree and goes circles around it, Anga tries to grab him but just keeps circling around making not easy for her to grab, Florian founds a hole in a the tree and goes into it, Anga's talents goes into the hole to the tree but misses Florian, he plans to stay in the hole until Anga leaves but little did he know, he entered a home of a night time animal, wide eyes open behind him, Florian looks behind him and sees the eyes, it starts moving towards him, it was Ullu, Florian runs out of the hole and Ullu chases him, now that Florian is distracted by Ullu, Anga can now catch him easily, she flies down and grabs him, "Hey, let me go." Florian ordered
Anga continues to flies him out of the lands, Florian bites Anga and rips a feather off, Anga flicks in pain and throws Florian into the air, he starts falling and screaming, he lands on the ground with his feet, he was not hurt "Oh" Florian runs off, Anga tried to look for him but she Florian was nowhere to be seen, "Got to report this to Kion." she whispered and flies back to retake leadership
To Kion and Fuli
Kion and Fuli walks together, "What you wanted to talk about?" Kion asked
"It's about you and Rani." Fuli said
"Me and Rani, is something wrong?" Kion asked
"Not necessarily, she wants to have cubs, but I won't force you, I'm just convincing you to have them, but if you ain't ready yet, than don't." Fuli said
"I'll think about it Fuli, how is it like raising cubs?" Kion asked
"There's upsides and downsides to it, everyone thinks it's easy but it's not." Fuli said
"What are the downsides?" Kion asked
"Cubs can get into a lot of trouble, my certainly did and still kind of do, but the upsides are seeing them grow up, when I had my cubs, it felt like something changed in me, and as the grew up, the feeling gotten stronger, even Azaad have these feelings as well." Fuli explained
"Well that does seem interesting to explore" Kion said
"Have you and Rani talked about any names?" Fuli asked
"I've thought of a good name but I don't want to reveal it to Rani." Kion gets closer to Fuli and whispers the name in her ear
"Oh, that is a good name." Fuli said
"Yes it is, I thought about that for a long time and that's the name that I've chosen." Kion said
"Well I think it's a great name." Fuli saidz
"Yes, but let's not talk about this right now, we need to join the rest on patrol." Kion said
"Good idea." Fuli starts walking to the group, Kion follows
To the day pride
Like yesterday, everything is running smoothly, a few minutes later, Kion and Fuli comes back, "Ah Kion, we have a problem." Anga said
"What is it?" Kion asked
"Remember that squirrel named Florian?" Anga asked
"Yeah I remember him, what about him?" Kion asked
"He's back, I tried to get him but got away." Anga said
"You and Ono fly off and look for him, I'm pretty sure he's here to spy on all of us, get him out of here before anything happens" Kion said
"Sure will Kion, we will get him out of here." Ono said
"Hey Fuli, where your cub?" Bunga asked
"She's still tired from last night, she is with Azaad today." Fuli said
"Oh man, patrol is boring without her." Bunga complained
"Bunga, we have you, if anything, you're suppose to make patrol not boring." Fuli said
"Oh yeah, how about I run around circles everyone." Bunga starting running around the group
"Well Fuli, you got your wish." Kion smiled
"Of course, it's not boring anymore, it's annoying." Fuli complained
Kion suddenly hears a complaint from an animal, "Bunga, shh, there something going on." Kion said
Bunga stops to let Kion hear the animal, "Hey that's mine, get out of here."
"There is an animal in trouble, let's go." Kion ordered
KIon and his group starts running towards the animal in need of help, when they make it their, they see a bird trying to peck a squirrel, "Florian, what are you doing here?" Kion asked
"Whatever I want." Florian goes to the birds nest and starts ruining it,
"Hey, leave my nest alone." THe bird ordered
"Nope, you try to kick me off this tree, than I destroy your home." Florian ruins the nest more, three eggs flies out of the nest, and starts falling to the ground,
"No my babies." the bird yelled as she tried to catch them
"Bunga, now." Kion ordereda
Bunga does the backflip and catches all three eggs at the same time, "Oh think you, you save my babies." the bird said
"Your babies may be saved, but what about your home." Florian shouted
"Oh I had just about enough of you." Bunga gently puts down the eggs and starts climbing the tree.
"Come and get me if you can." Florian mocked
Bunga tries to catch Florian but he jumps out of the way, "miss me" he quickly said as he jumps from branch to branch
"You're not going to make this easy and neither am I." Bunga tries to keep up with Florian but he grabs an eggcorn and and throws it at Bunga, "Hey, that's not fair." Bunga complained
"I'm the one who has to throw my food around." Florian complained
Bunga jumps but miscalculates it and trips on the branch, he starts falling but he catches himself,
"I thought honey badgers were suppose to be good at climbing." Florian gets higher into the tree
"Bunga, you're okay?" Kion asked
"I'm fine Kion, I just need to get back on this branch." Bunga said
"Florian, get of here now." Kion ordered
"Nope, this is my home now, Florian throws an eggcorn at Kion and hits him in the head,
"Florian, you're pissing me off." Kion said angrily
"Good, I want you pissed off." Florian throws tow more eggcorns one hits Kion and the other hits Fuli, "By the way Kion, that second was meant to hit you." he said
"Alright, I'm done with him, how do we get him down?" Kion asked
Fuli tries to think of an idea, Bunga gets back up and runs towards Florian, he catches, but Florian kicks Bunga's face many times and releases himself, Florian jumps off the tree and lands on the ground.
"Good job Bunga, now help this bird put the eggs back, the rest of us will get Florian." Kion ordered
Kion and the rest starts chasing Florian as he runs away, Fuli runs ahead and tries to catch up with Florian, he quickly turns and starts running the other direction, Fuli also tries to turn quickly but instead she slides on the grass, Kion sees Ono and Anga in the air also locking on Florian, Anga swoops downs and tries to grab Florian but he kicks up dirt in her face and disorients her and misses Florian, everyone chases Florian until Amala jumps out of a bush and pins down Florian, he struggles and tries to get away, Let me go you cub." Florian shouted
"Mom, look, I got the animal you were chasing." Amala said
"Good job Amala now hand him over to us." Fuli said
"Amala?" Florian questioned and than changes his tone, "Amala, so nice to see you, I've heard about you a lot." he said
"Stop talking to my cub." Fuli ordered
"Amala, you get me, they were chasing me, I was running away, they were going to eat me." Florian said
"My mom would never do that unless she or I was hungry." Amala said
Rani pops out from behind Florian, "What going on here?" she asked
"Look around and see who's back." Kion said
Rani looks around, she finds Florian behind held down by Amala, "Florian, what are you doing here?" Rani asked
"Hold on, before we go any further, I need to take my cub away from this." Fuli said
Kion puts his paw on Florian, Fuli gently picks up Amala and takes her away, "Mom, I want to see what going to happen." Amala complained
"Okay now she's gone, What are you doing back here?" Rani asked
"He will be coming back and you know it." Florian said
"Who?" Kion asked
"Nemesis, you know he will be back." Florian said
"If he returns, then we will be prepared." Kion said
"Oh you think you will Kion, but he will defeat you, his father, and yours as well." Florian said
"Just give me the signal and I will fly him out of here." Anga said
"Oh Kion, your mane is growing, which means your are coming a grown lion, but eventually, your strength will peak and after that, you will start to weaken and get old." Florian said
"I'm not afraid." Kion said
"Oh and did I forget to mention that I also know about Zaza, Fuli's other cub." Florian said
"Alright that's enough, Anga, get him out of here, I don't want to hear his voice anymore." Kion said
Anga picks up Florian and flies him as far away from the Tree of Life as she can, Bunga runs back to the group, "Ah, did I miss it." Bunga complained
"Sorry Bunga." Kion apologized
"I wonder how long he has been here for, he knew quite a bit about the Tree of Life." Ono said
"Well he's not really a problem, he's just a squirrel." Bunga said
"I don't think so, he's up to something, one clue is about Nemesis." Ono said
"He is now working for him?" Bunga asked
Everyone besides Bunga laughs, "He wouldn't, he would not walk all the way to the Pridelands to allie with Nemesis." Kion laughed
"But he could." Bunga said
"Could doesn't mean will." Ono said
"I know he is, why would he be here." Bunga said
"Alright, lets stop this, we need to continue the patrol." Kion said
everyone continues on patrol.
To Fuli and Amala
"Mom, why can't I see what's about to happen to that animal?" Amala asked
"Because that animal is mean, and I didn't want you to see if anything bad happened." Fuli said
"Is he the bad animal you have to keep out?" Amala asked
"Yes, he is one of them." Fuli said
Anga flies above carrying Florian away, Fuli sees Anga in the air, "Alright, we can go back now, he's gone." Fuli said
Fuli and Amala walk together back to the group, a few minutes later, they make it back with the group, "Everything okay Fuli?" Kion asked
"Yes it's fine, what happened to Rani?" Fuli asked
"She went back to what she was doing." Kion said
"Kion, you should follow her, I would do the same to Binga." Bunga said
"No, we both have duties to perform as king and queen, plus we try to spend as much time as we can during sunset." Kion said
To Ajax
"Sir, no sign of Nemesis yet." one of the lions said
"That's good, I just have a pretty bad feeling something is going to happen, keep searching." Ajax ordered
"As you wish my lord." the lion said
Makucha walks up, "Ajax, let me ask you a question." Makucha said
"Ask away whatever it is." Ajax said
"Why would you leave me and Chuluun in the Tree of Life even though we disrespected the circle of life?" Makucha asked
"Because I have faith in you two, I knew you could change even just a little, you just needed a push in the right direction." Ajax said
"A push in the right direction, didn't exactly work." Makucha did
"It did, remember when you defended the land?" Ajax asked
"Yeah, I remember that." Makucha said
Ajax takes the orb of darkness out of his mane, he looks at it, "Evil can be contained, just got to do it the right way." Ajax said
"What do you mean by that?" Makucha asked
Ajax tenses up his paw holding the orb, the power from it surges up his leg, the orb starts glowing, "Um what are you doing?" Makucha asked
Ajax roars as power surges through his body, a small shock wave comes through the air, Ajax's fur starting from his paw goes back to normal, the wave makes it up to his mane, it turns red like it was before and his eye went from green to red, all of his body is back to normal, "It finally worked." he said
"Ajax, what was that about?" Makucha asked
"This is something I've been trying to do since I was kicked out, but I've finally got it working, this is my true look before I took this orb." Ajax said
"Does that mean you've mastered it?" Makucha asked
"You know, you almost look like Kion, and I kind of don't like it, if it wasn't for your huge scar and your missing eye, I'm pretty sure you would look exactly like him." Makucha said
"Maybe, we ain't too different after all, I have more faith, he has better judgement, and of course I am evil, but in a different way." Ajax said
"You are not evil, just mistaken." Makucha said
"And you are also mistaken Makucha, by far, you are my favorite Makucha, Chuluun is very close but she will never get past you." Ajax said
"I don't know what to say about this, I've never had appreciation like this." Makucha said
"Like I said, you just needed a push." Ajax said
At the Tree of Life
The sun is setting, the day and night pride is about to change shifts, "Patrol was something today, the squirrel Florian is back so keep a loom out for him." Kion said
"Ullu will fly around keeping eyes open." Nirmala said
"Why would he return?" Surak asked
"No idea, we don't know how long he was here for either." Kion said
"He might know more about us now, our secretes, our lives." Surak said
Kion looks around to see Baliyo is not around, "Hey, where is Baliyo?" Kion asked
"He's with Rani, they are siblings and they do need to catch up." Nirmala said
"Yeah true." Kion said
"Alright, I'm going to let you start your patrol." Kion said
"We sure will, Nirmala and Surak walk together starting patrol, "Well I got to catch up with Azaad, I',m pretty sure Zaza is wearing him down." Fuli said
"And I got to talk to Rani." Kion said
Ono and Anga flies to their nests, Bunga goes find Binga, and Beshte does to the watering hole, Kion goes to the lake where Rani is, he also sees Baliyo, Rawr, Kara and her cubs, Kion walks up, "Hey Rani." he said
"Hey Kion." Rani said
Kion sits next to Rani, "What's going on here?" he asked
"I was just talking to my brother but than Rawr and Kara showed up as well." Rani said
"Kion, how's it going?" Kara asked
"I'm fine, although I'll like to speak to Rani alone." Kion said
"Alright, it's about time for my cubs to turn in." Kara walks off, Rawr follows her,
"Baliyo, don't you have to start patrol?" Rani asked
"Yes I do sister, see you tomorrow." Baliyo walks off to the night pride
Both Kion and Rani try to think of what to say, Kion takes a breath, "So I've been thinking about it." Kion said
"If you don't want cubs that fine." Rani said
"Actually, I was thinking about it and I do want cubs." Kion said
"You do? you really want them?" Rani asked
"I've been thinking about it, and yeah, plus Fuli told me how badly you were wanting them." Kion said
"Well than, that was just unexpected, well um I do know what to do." Rani said
"Mufasa always told me to follow my instincts, maybe you should do that." Kion said
"follow my instincts, well it tells me to do this." Rani kisses Kion cheek
"That what it told you, will mines tell me to do this." Kion lays Rani down and licks her cheek, Rani grabs Kion's face and pulls it to her, she gives him a long kiss, she backs up after a few seconds and gives a flirty look at Kion,
Kion looks around, "We need more privacy than this, come follow me." Kion starts walking, Rani follows Kion, they walk into the tree, they will stay in their for the rest of the night, Fuli and Baliyo watched them walking together, "I think Kion accepted it." she said
"Accepted what?" Baliyo asked
"You'll know soon Baliyo." Fuli said
As you all know, this story is 13+ and I am going to keep it that way so what's happening is can't be shown or read, lets see how Nemesis is doing
To Nemesis
Nemesis is in a cave with Fyre far away from the Tree of Life, Florian comes in the cave, "Ah, Florian got any news for me?" Nemesis asked
"Yes, lots of things have changed, Fuli has cubs and Kion is thinking about having them, but not just those, Kion's roar has gotten even stronger, Rani has a new power." Florian said
"New power? What is her new power?" Nemesis asked
"Apparently she can go into dreams, or at least see what others are dreaming about." Florian said
"Dreams, well she won't like mine, mines is full of revenge of all who dispose me." Nemesis said
Shupavu enters the cave, "Nemesis, there is something you must see." she said
"What is it?" Nemesis asked
"The orbs, there's more of them, and one might be able to help." Shupavu said
"Bring me to this, I want to see." Nemesis ordered
"Right this way Nemesis." Shupavu said
To the Tree of Life
The sun is raising, all the daytime animals are still sleeping.
inside the tree, Kion and Rani are cuddling, Rani is purring in her sleep, Kion is just sleeping, sun rays is shining through the entrance, sun rays hits the ground just right and hits Kion in the eyes and wakes him up, he notices Rani is still sleeping, "Rani, time to get up." he said
End of chapter sixteen
First real chapter in a little while, Kion was getting nightmares in the beginning but was later taken care of, Rani has a new power that has helped with Kion's dream, Kion and Rani are thinking about cubs, Florian came back to the Tree of Life and spied on everyone, he knows more about the animals there and told his master Nemesis, Bunga believes the Florian is working for Nemesis but the others don't believe it, Ajax has learned to control the evil inside of him and even changed is fur and mane back to normal, and of course, Nemesis has became the mane enemy of the story, first it was Ajax than it slowly became his son.
