Sarawat's P.O.V.
"Can you wait here ai Wat? I have to go to the restroom for a moment" Tine said as he stood up from our table
"of course, do you want me to order anything for you in case the waiter arrives?" I asked smiling
"Umm... a slice of chocolate cake and a cup of tea, thank you"
"no problem" I added as he left.
Minutes passed and he didn't came back, the waiter arrived with our orders but he was still in the restroom... I stood up and went to check
"Umm... ai Tine? Are you ok?" I said as I entered, however, as I looked at the stalls they all had open doors...
I took my phone and tried to call him but nothing, he didn't pick up, I was about to retry when my phone started ringing
"yes dad? I'm a little busy"
"Come home"
"Dad... I'm with a friend..."
"It's about Tine..." he added, my eyes widened and I felt like my heart was about to stop
"What is this supposed to mean? What do you know about him? Why are you talking about him!?" I asked
"Calm down, he's at base now, just come here and we will clear this out, a car is already waiting for you outside the cafe, pay your bill and get on" he added and hung up
I did as he told me to do and as I reached the house he was waiting for me in my room, looking at a photo I hid under my pillow
"What a pity..." he said looking at Tine's picture
"Dad..."
"Oh, don't worry, I ordered to keep him safe, since you want to be the boss of our clan and you keep refusing the idea of a different future for our family... I thought it was a good idea to let you choose the fate of your friend" he said coming closer to me
I wanted to kneel and beg him to save Tine but those words were like knives... that meant that I was the only one responsible for his life...
"Calm down, the meeting is tonight at 1am, you have a lot of time to think about your choice, I don't want to interfere but if you want to ask for my opinion I will be glad to tell you what I think." he added smiling
"Thank you dad... but I don't need it... I... I already know what I have to do... I know exactly what I must do..." I replied, his eyes changed for a second, they looked concerned and terrified
"Good, we will go to the old factory..."
"Yeah... the cemetery... no problem, I will be ready for that moment, don't worry dad, your son is ready for this challenge"
"p... perfect..." he said stuttering and he went to the living room to watch tv.
I buried my face in the pillow and whispered
"Why can't you just tell me if you want me to kill him or not!? I can't... I can't... I can't kill him... but what if..."
