Finally the wedding!!

Jeongguk woke up to someone poking his stomach. He grunted, trying to turn on the other side, but he realized that there was a dead weight on top of him, halting his movements.
- Yah, stop trying to make me fall off the bed -
At the back of his head, Jeongguk recognized the voice, but his main priority was "must keep sleeping" so he tried to swat the hand away.
- Jeon Jeongguk! - the voice laughed - wake up, you dork -
His mind finally let him know that the voice was Taehyung's and his plans quickly changed. Instead of shooing the hand away he grabbed it, rolling aroun to pin Taehyung on the bed and hugging him tight, nuzzling his nose in the crook of his neck.
- Gguk - the older pretended to complain, raising a hand to caress his hair. Jeongguk happily sighed, pulling him even closer - shut up, I'm sleepy -
- Don't care - Taehyung said back - we have a wedding today -
Jeongguk suddenly remembered why Taehyung was in his home, in his bed, and what they were supposed to do that day.
He huffed, still not moving - the wedding is at eleven, we have all the time in the world -
- It's eight already - Taehyung said, flicking his ear - and I have to be there at ten. We really have to go -
Jeongguk sighed, and raised himself on the elbow.
He looked down at Taehyung, that was smiling at him with messy hair and a lazy smile. Jeongguk felt his heart skip a beat and he leaned down to kiss him on the lips - good morning, love -
Taehyung kissed back, smiling - good morning. Ready to get up? -
Jeongguk sighed dramatically but sit up, stretching his arms. He saw Taehyung standing up and heading to the bathroom - I'll take a shower. If you're still sleeping when I come back I'll punch you -
- Scary - Jeongguk teased him. Taehyung rolled his eyes, entering the bathroom.
Jeongguk smiled, letting himself close his eyes for one more minute before he finally stood up.
He opened his closet, taking his suit out. It was dark and simple, elegant and well fitting.
He heard Taehyung starting the shower so he decided to cook something, keeping it light since they were going to eat a lot at the wedding. He put some coffee on and started scrolling through the phone, seeing Jimin and Yoongi's wedding all over the Internet.
It was kind of a big thing. The LGBTQ+ community was slowly gaining more rights in South Korea, but homosexual weddings were still forbidden and the fact that a popular gay couple was still celebrating some sort of wedding was really significant.
Jeongguk smiled, and he couldn't stop himself from projecting his big day. Maybe it still wasn't going to be legal, but just the idea of celebrating his love for an other man gave him chills.
Immersed in his thought, he started sipping his coffee.
Less than fifteen minutes later he heard the bathroom's door opening and he called Taehyung's name to let him know where he was.
The elder walked in the kitchen, busy whit buttoning up his shirt, and Jeongguk's jaw dropped.
He already saw Taehyung in formal attire, both in person and in pictures, but... fuck, he was stunning.
- Hey, can you help me? - Taehyung asked, looking up at him - the sleeves are giving me trouble -
Jeongguk gulped, checking him out once again - you look hot as hell -
Taehyung raised an eyebrow, seeming amused - do I? -
Jeongguk sighed dramatically, walking toward him and wrapping his arms around his waist - why do you look like this? Do you think it's fair to my poor, fleble heart? -
- Your fleble heart? - Taehyung repeated, hitting his shoulder playfully - what are you even saying? -
Jeongguk pouted, leaning back to look at the elder.
He caught him off guard when he kissed him, trapping him between his body and the kitchen counter. He digged his fingers in his hips and smiled at Taehyung's indignant yelp.
- C'mon, drink this -
They had their quick breakfast and a while later they were in Jeongguk's car, the younger man starting the engine while Taehyung was trying to apply some mascara.
- I can't believe we actually managed to be on time - Taehyung snorted - I was going to be satisfied if we got there an hour late -
Jeongguk laughed and started driving, glancing at the clear sky - thank God it's not raining -

- Oh my God -
Jeongguk couldn't help but agree. The two men stood in front of the car for a couple of minutes staring ahead of themselves, mouths agape.
In front of them, a huge garden had been completely transformed to accommodate the wedding.
Different gazebos were placed at the sides of a wooden catwalk and at the end of it they could see the wedding arch, beautifully decorated with red flowers.
Taehyung was clearly on the verge of tears already, but luckily someone calling their names got their attention.
- Taehyungie! - someone almost tackled the man down and it took them a couple of seconds to realize it was Jin, trapping the boy in a strong hug.
Not far from them, Namjoon was walking in their direction with his hands in his pockets, dimples fully showing.
Him and Jeongguk shared a hug while Taehyung could finally breath again, Jin warmly hugging Jeongguk as well.
- Why are you here already? - Jeongguk asked, realizing that the other guests were supposed to arrive in an hour.
- I'm Yoongi's best man - Namjoon replied and Jeongguk nodded - and I'm here to emotionally support Jimin - Seokjin added.
They kept talking for a while, until the four of them finally walked closer, reaching the first gazebo.
A man that introduced himself as Yoobgi's cousin smiled, recognizing them, and took all their coats and bags. He waved towards two of the last gazebos - Jimin and Yoongi are in there, getting ready. Taehyung-ssi and Namjoon-ssi can join them to get ready as well -
The two men nodded and once they had kissed their boyfriends they disappeared, leaving Jeongguk and Seokjin to talk with Yoongi's cousin.
Taehyung took a deep breath before he entered the gazebo where his best friend was supposed to be.
It was the only one that had actual walls, to hide the nervous looking man sitting on a small sofa.
- Jimin! - Taehyung exclaimed, smiling brightly.
Jimin raised his head from the phone and he was standing up in a second, rushing to his best friend.
- Taehyungie! Thank God you're here, I feel like I'm gonna throw up -

- This wedding is gonna be interesting - Hoseok sighed. The ceremony was starting in twenty minutes and he and Jeongguk were sitting next to their friends on the beautiful benches situated in front of the arch.
- How come? - Jeongguk asked, looking at the beginning of the catwalk. He couldn't wait to see Taehyung again, since he didn't have the chance after they parted ways.
- Some of Yoongi's relatives are really interesting - Hoseok answered with a snort - and I bet Jimin's family won't disappoint either -
Jeongguk raised an eyebrow, deciding not to investigate further. He had all the time of the world, after the ceremony.
Suddenly, the music started and everyone turned their heads, watching the best men walk in.
Jeongguk couldn't help but smile when he saw Taehyung, holding a small bouquet with a huge smile on his lips. The man was so busy staring at him that he didn't notice anyone else, not even the man right next to Taehyung, too busy drooling over his boyfriend.
Once everyone was in ther right spot, a man took place under the arch.
- He's one of Yoongi's cousins - Hoseok whispered - he's the one marrying them -
Not too long after Yoongi walked in, and at that point everyone stood up, impatiently waiting for Jimin to show up.
Jeongguk wasn't good with words, had never been, but he was sure that not even the best writer in the world would've been able to describe the look in Yoongi's eyes when his fiancé appeared at the beginning of the catwalk.
He looked like he was about to start crying but he didn't, holding a smile while he watched the blonde walking with his arm linked with his father's.
Jeongguk felt his heart getting warm when the two men finally intertwined their hands. His eyes instantly slipped to Taehyung and he wasn't that surprised to see him crying desperatly, clearly trying to hold the tears and the sobs.
Jeongguk silently listened to Yoongi and Jimin's vows, smile never faltering. Half way through it his eyes met Taehyung's and they never left each other until the very end.
- You may now kiss your husband -
Jimin smiled through his tears, and let Yoongi pull him in a tight hug, lips colliding hard. Everyone stood up, clapping, and Jeongguk realized that he was feeling happy. Genuinely happy, for his friends and for himself, and suddenly nothing else mattered.

- Hey you - Jeongguk pulled Taehyung close, kissing his temple. The man smiled widely - are you ok? -
- Yeah, had to fix my mascara because I completely ruined it -
Jeongguk snorted. The ceremony was done and they were waiting for the grooms next to the buffet.
- Yeah, you were crying pretty hard - Jeongguk teased him and Taehyung groaned, latting his head fall against his boyfriend's shoulder.
The rest of his friends gathered around them and the five of them started chatting, waiting for the newly married couple.
- I kept making sure I didn't lose the rings - Namjoon commented with a sigh - I don't know why Yoongi gave me such an important responsibility -
- Well, Taehyung was supposed to do it - Hoseok laughed - but we all knew he was going to be too busy crying his eyes out to do so -
Taehyung started complaining again, since they had been teasing him about his emotional reaction for half an hour, but Yoongi and Jimin walked in, interrupting the scene.
Peolpe started cheering again, and the smiling couple was basically assaulted by family and friends. The small group decided to let the situation calm down before approaching the couple.
Ten minutes later, Taehyung was basically running towards Jimin, while Yoongi fondly watched them. The rest of the guys arrived soon after, exchanging hugs.
- How does it feel like to be married? - Hoseok asked, wiggling his eyebrows. Yoongi sighed, trying to act annoyed even though his huge smile didn't let him - I wish I could tell you, but Taehyung stole my husband already -
Taehyung rolled his eyes, parting from Jimin with a last kiss on the cheek - shut up, you're the one who took him away from me -
- Yeah, yeah, soulmate stuff - Yoongi answered cheekly circling Jimin's waist. The younger was basically glowing as he leaned back, on his husband's shoulder.
- Have you seen Taehyung almost drowning in his own tears? - Jin asked to the couple and this time he wasn't able to dodge the man's punch - you talk big game, hyung, as if you didn't bawl your eyes out during Yoongi's vows.
Jin clicked his tongue - well, yeah, it was pretty emotional and... -
- We get it, everyone cried - Jimin interrupted them, rolling his eyes - sorry but we have a cake to cut, and a ton of food to eat. I'm literally starving -
Everyone agreed and the couple walked towards one of the tables, holding together the big knife. They cut the first piece and after putting some cream on each other's face, everyone was finally given the permission to eat.

Now, Jeongguk usually enjoyed weddings, but he always felt a bit lonely once they ended. Watching two people vowing their love to each other is sweet, sure, but when you're single it also reminds you that you're not about to get married, not even close to it, and that when you'll go back home the only thing that'll be waiting for you is your pet, if you're lucky.
Jeongguk hated the slow dancing part, to be exact, when all the couples gently swayed on the dance floor leaving him sad and indecently drunk, sitting at a random table and usually listening to some stranger rambling about how much they hate their lives or something.
But this time it was different. Finally he was the one making others envious, not only because he was taken, but also because the person he was dating happened to be the most beautiful man walking on Earth.
The song that was playing was sweet and slow, the lights low, and Jeongguk could only see and feel Taehyung. The way his hands felt perfect around the elder's waist, the feeling of their chests touching and all that stuff that he would've called sappy a few months ago.
- What are you thinking about? - Taehyung whispered. After they ate and had a couple (ok, maybe more than that) of drinks they started dancing and lazing around. It was now five in the afternoon, the air becoming chiller while the sky was starting to get darker.
Jimin and Yoongi were in the middle of the dance floor. Unsurprisingly enough, it had been impossible to split the couple. When they weren't talking with the guests, they were dancing together or eating together or doing anything that allowed them to keep at least their hands linked.
- Nothing. I love you -
Taehyung was a bit taken aback by the answer but that didn't stop him from smiling widely.
- I love you too -
The song ended and Jeongguk was about to ask Taehyung if he wanted to grab a drink when someone laid a hand on the latter's shoulder.
- Taehyung-ssi! Finally, I found you -
The man turned around and raised his eyebrows when he saw the man who was talking to him.
Jeongguk didn't recognize him, so he probably was someone's relative. He was a tall man, dark hair styled back to expose his forehead and wearing a black suit.
- Oh, Soonjung. Haven't seen you in a while -
Taehyung leaned back in Jeongguk's chest and the younger quickly hugged him from behind, not liking the interested gaze that the stranger was giving his boyfriend.
- Yeah, I've been in the USA for a year. Beautiful ceremony, wasn't it? -
Jeongguk tried to ignore the fact that the man wasn't acknowledging his existence, staying calm since Taehyung seemed to know Soonjung.
- Oh, the USA, really? And yeah, the ceremony was great -
Taehyung then grabbed Jeongguk's arm and squeezed it - this is my boyfriend, Jeongguk. Gguk, this is Jimin's cousin Soonjung -
Jeongguk tilted his head as a greeting and the other man did the same.
- Jeon Jeongguk, mh? Pretty sure I heard your name somewhere -
- Probably, Ggukie is a model as well -
Soonjung nodded in understanding and smiled, arching an eyebrow at Jeongguk - would you mind if I steal your boyfriend for a dance? -
Yes I do.
- Of course not. I'll go grab a drink -
Taehyung smiled at him, pecking his cheeks, and Jeongguk forced his jealousy to calm down. Even if Soonjung was clearly interested in Taehyung, they still were friends, and he wasn't going to go all jealous boyfriend mode on him as long as the stranger behaved.
He still felt a bit like a kicked puppy when he walked back to his friends that were throwing amused glances in his direction.
- Damn, he succeed this year too uh - Jimin commented. Jeongguk sit down at the table, huffing, and started watching Taehyung with sharp eyes.
- What? -
- My cousin - Jimin repeated - Taehyung always comes at one of my family meetings, every year, and Soonjun has been trying to woo him for years -
Jeongguk groaned even louder, letting his head fall on his crossed arms.
Jimin laughed, patting his head fondly - Don't worry your pretty head too much, Taehyung isn't interested at all. Besides, he's a bit too whipped for you -
That did make him feel better and his happiness came back with full force when Taehyung finally excused himself and left the man, walking towards him with a boxy smile.

Going to the beach wasn't planned, but somehow they ended up there.
It was ten in the evening, all the guests had left about an hour ago, leaving the seven friends to drink wine and giggle at old stories.
Taehyung didn't even remember who proposed the idea, but somehow they were now quickly leaving their shoes on the sand and running into the ice cold water of the sea.
Taehyung smiled, listening to his friends laughters and squeals, and ran into the water as well.
He was literally freezing and his shirt uncomfortably stuck to his skin, but he felt a pair of arms circling his waist and suddenly everything fell back into place.
Jeongguk turned him around and picked him up, so that the elder was gripping at him like a koala, and proceeded to kiss him senseless, under the bright moon and with their friends splashing water around them.
Taehyung smiled against his lips and wished he had a camera to take a photo. To remember this feeling, sharing it with his favorite people in the world.
In his mind, he took a camera in his hands and smiled.
