"What???" Ash confusedly asked. "Korrina, I haven't told you this yet but I'll explain," you said. "Okay," Korrina said, her voice indicating patience. "Paul was wearing a red jacket and had weird sunglasses today when he beat Ash up, so he might be hiding something. I think he's working for Team Flare," you explained quietly.
"Ughh, Team Flare, not them again, they caused enough damage to Kalos already," Korrina moaned. "What? What happened?" Ash asked, extremely confused at what Korrina just mentioned. "A few years ago, Team Flare tried to destroy Coumarine City, and tried to steal that giant tree for an experiment using a machine that is made for destroying the whole planet," you explained. "Ughh, I hate those people. If anybody from that organization tries to touch you, they're dead," Ash angrily said and he cracked his knuckles to show his serious attitude. You kissed him in his cheeks and turned back to Korrina.
"You guys are so cute together, you two are the best couple I've ever met," Korrina said ad fangirled. "And even better, I'm a huge fan of you, Y/N, before we met! So this makes it even better!!!"
"Aww, thanks Korrina," you said. "Well, I'm going to bed, see you in the morning!" Korrina brightly informed you and Ash, then left the room.
When you turned back to Ash, you saw him asleep, on your shoulder. You blushed and freaked out right after. "What should I do???" you thought and sweatdropped.
You slipped your arms behind Ash and hugged him while you dozed off, bu accidentally fell into a deep slumber.
At dawn, you felt like you were on a car but realized Ash was just trying to put you in a lying position so you could sleep better. You blushed and opened your eyes. "Hmm?" you mumbled as you took Ash's hand.
"Shh...go to sleep," Ash whispered but you refused. "Don't hurt yourself," you warned and he nodded. You flipped over to Ash's side and realized he was still sitting up, leaning on the headboard. You held his hand and closed your eyes then smiled.
He stroked your hair as you slept peacefully.
~1 Week later~
Last week, you finished the term break and now you're back in school. Ash fully recovered from that incident with Paul and you guys decided to let it go and not report Paul to the school.
You're now officially back to school and working hard. Today is day one of school and you wonder how it will go today. You arrived at the school site last night and you and Ash had an early night so today you both naturally woke up early and you had 2 hours before school.
"Morning Y/N," Ash sat on your bed and smiled at you. He woke up before you because he slept earlier last night when you decided to text the group in the group chat, which means there are tons of messages on Ash's phone that might make it explode.
"Hi," you mumbled and yawned as you sat up. "We still have 2 hours before class so let's chill for one hour," Ash said and you did your usual morning routine. You put on your school uniform after your morning routine. "This uniform feels weird, I haven't worn this in two weeks," you moaned and sweatdropped as you made your way to the kitchen.
"Oh you made me breakfast?" you asked your boyfriend. "Yeah, I didn't want to wake you up and you should sleep more so I just did that," he replied. You smiled and ate your breakfast in silence. Ash came over a while later and ate his breakfast with you.
"Wow we still have 45 minutes till class, that's long. What should we do?" you asked. "I'd say we relax for half an hour," Ash replied and leaped onto the bed from the chair. You just walked to his bed to be safe. You kissed his cheek and turned on your phone. A notification appeared on the screen which said '548 messages' and you gasped and showed Ash. "WHATT???" he shouted. "I don't even get that man notifications overnight, my maximum is 100!!!"
"Well, it's either Korrina or my family sending those messages, at least it didn't make my phone freeze," you laughed as you sat on Ash's laps. "Isn't the bed more comfortable than me?" he asked and sweatdropped. You looked at him and pouted and he backed off but put his arms around your waist as you leaned backward.
Around 25 minutes later, you guys started to head to class. There was literally nobody in the long corridors because all the students were in the cafeteria so you and Ash didn't stress about being embarrassed by anybody. While you guys were walking to class, Ash slipped his hand around your waist and pulled you closer, as he did on the date. "I love you," you whispered. "I love you more," Ash whispered back.
You guys arrived in class 5 minutes early and there was nobody outside the classroom either. It was a strange sight to see but you assumed that the students haven't got back to their normal school routine yet.
Class started afterward and many of the students arrived 5 minutes late and your teacher gave them detention. Korrina Gladion was in your class and luckily, he arrived exactly on time and avoided detention.
During class, Gladion was not focused the whole time, and believe it or not, you and Ash weren't focused too. "Y/N, Ash, Gladion, stay behind after class," your teacher said. You rolled your eyes right after the teacher said that but Ash gulped and Gladion just ignored the teacher.
"Class dismissed," your teacher announced and you guys went to your teacher's desk. You and Ash stood really close to each other and held hands for luck and Gladion just stayed edgy and leaned against the whiteboard which made the teacher a little irritated. "Gladion stand straight, this is not a wall," your teacher yelled and he crossed his arms and fulfilled the teacher's request.
"You three know why you are here right?" your teacher loudly said. "Yes sir," Ash and Gladion said, but you stayed silent. You didn't bother to say anything and the teacher didn't do anything about it. "You three must concentrate in class or you'll get double detention, do you understand?" your teacher said louder, which sounded more like a shout. "Yes sir," Ash and Gladion said and again, you stayed silent. Your teacher then gave an extremely prolonged lecture on why you must concentrate. But as a result of the lecture, your teacher ended up lecturing mostly about the rules in class, that he made and wasn't even official which made you smirk. "Now, as your punishment, you need to do extra homework and you have to write an essay on what you learnt in today's lesson," your teacher shouted. "Shhhh, you're so loud!" you hissed and your teacher backed off, when you started to get annoyed.
The teacher dismissed you so you could leave for the free period. "Attention, newbies, your exams will be in 2 weeks so be prepared!!!" the loudspeaker blared. Ughhh, exams, you hate exams even thought they're simple. You hated the fact that you must sit in a chair for an hour and do boring questions.
"So Y/N, let's get a drink and chill until our third lesson," Ash suggested and held out his hand. You took his hand as a yes and you headed to the cafe.
You ordered a large cup of iced chocolate and shared it with Ash. You took a sip and handed it to Ash. He was about to take a sip when someone behind you guys squealed. "Oh don't you two look kawaii?" Serena fangirled. "Oh hi Serena!" you smiled and waved and Ash just smiled.
Dawn, out of nowhere, appeared next to Serena and smiled broadly too. "Oh hi Dawn, I didn't know you were here," you giggled. "Hii Y/N," Dawn smiled and made a heart shape out of her hands which made you blush a little. "What're you guys going to do now?" you asked, curious at what others do in the free period. "Oh we're going to revise for the test, it's in two weeks!" Serena piped.
You, Ash, Dawn and Serena parted ways when you guys reached your respective dorms.
"Hey...what primary school did you go to in Kanto, before you came here?" you curiously queried. "Oh, I studied in Pallet Elementary, I live in Pallet Town so it's a 10 minute walk from my home. What about you?" Ash responded then asked you the same question. "Uhh...I umm...never been to a school before, I just took the exam here and got in," you replied, feeling a little rush of embarrassment coming up. "That's so cool!!! You're so smart!!! Can you help me prepare for the exam?" Ash squealed as he bolted over to you.
"Sure! Why n-?" you accepted his request. "Hello, is Ash Ketchum here? The principal wants to have a talk with you," a person with an alto range of voice called through the door. "Coming!" Ash called back as he went to open the door.
You walked to the front door and approached the lady to hear what the problem was. "Mr Ketchum, the principal would like to see you, there is something she would like to discuss with you," the lady said. "Uhh...okay, be here in a sec," Ash replied and went back in to grab his phone and wallet before going. "Uhh miss, can I come too?" you persuaded. "Uhh...sure, Your Highness," she replied hesitantly but she felt more of a strange feeling that you wanted to come, rather than doubting you want to be nosey or anything.
You and Ash followed the lady to the principal's office and she greeted you with a bright wave and a small smile for Ash. You decided to wait outside the office while Ash does his business with the principal. The door wasn't completely closed and doesn't have a noise block layer so you managed to eavesdrop.
"So...Ash, do you know why you are here?" the principal started. "Uhh...no," Ash confusedly said. "Alright then, I'll explain. Lately your teachers have been telling me your progress in lessons, and I have to admit that they're not so good," the principal explained. Your eyes widened when you heard that. Ash probably felt knives piercing into his body when the principal said that.
"I'm afraid you will have to leave this school. I apologize for this but it might be better for all of us," the principal then stated. You winced at what the principal said. You felt like kicking the door open and protest about the situation.
If Ash is going to leave, what will happen to your relationship?

Heyy reader! How are you doing? I hope you enjoyed this book so far! I just wrote a cliffhanger, this is a little different for me because I don't do cliffhangers regularly.
Anyways, I'm having exams lately and I'm still writing this book so the quality of this book might actually get better and better because this is my hobby now! I'm having so much fun writing this book.
Finally, to wrap this note up, I just want to tell you that I'm not the best at writing romance. In fact, I'm not so good at it so forgive me if this is terrible. I might've said this once or twice at the start but still, I'm not good at romance in general. I'm still 13 and I don't understand everything about romance...yet. I'm trying my best so yeah :)
