"Hajime-chan~" Tooru frowns as he enters the room. "Yes, Tooru?"
"Nee-chan texted and told me we could finally visit," He places his head on Hajime's shoulder and plants a kiss on his husband's cheek.
"Well then let's go," he looks at Tooru as the chocolate-haired male looks at him bewildered
"You mean right now?"
"Of course dumbass, you've been wanting to see minikeru for almost a month now," he lightly bonks Tooru's head.
"Pfft, Haji-chan, who's minikeru?"
Hajime blushes, "Mini Takeru, stupid," he huffs and pulls Tooru up.
"Come on and let's visit Nee-san," Hajime leaves his husband in their room as Tooru looks on lovingly.
His heart blossomed with warmth as it thrilled him to see his Haijime be this close to his family.
He was shy to call his older sister 'Nee-san' and his brother-in-law 'Nii-san' when they were newly engaged but he warmed up to it upon their wedding day, because Tooru's sister and her husband insisted that they wanted the formalities gone.
Tooru indeed wanted to see his new nephew, but he could wait until tomorrow. Although it didn't look like it, he wasn't too keen on children.
He liked selective kids like Tadashi and Hitoka Sawamura, Shoyo and Kei Bokuto, Kunumi Matsukawa, Tsutomu Ushijima, hell especially his sister's sons.
But he found some children annoying and he shuddered at the thought of loud crying and bratty little monsters.
'Minikeru, please. That's adorable.' Tooru laughs to himself as he gets dressed.
"Hello, Nii-san,"
'Ah! Iwaizumi-kun!' his brother-in-law answers.
"I and Tooru are visiting today, sorry for the short notice,"
'It's fine, actually, she really wanted you guys to visit,'
"Ah, glad we're not intruding then," Hajime packs his husband's bag as he hoists the phone on his shoulder.
'Of course not Iwaizumi-kun!'
"Does nee-san need anything? Or minik–" he caught himself as he slowly said, "Babykawa?"
'Not that I know of, but you don't really have to trouble yourselves, I got it covered,'
Then Hajime heard his sister-in-law's voice in the background, 'Tell them to buy Taiyaki!'
Hajime laughs to himself and took a mental note of it.
'I guess I spoke too soon, you heard her right?'
"Yes nii-san," Hajime states as Tooru walks into the room. "We gotta go, we'll see you later, please don't hesitate to call us if you guys need help,"
He ends the call as the taller male hooks his arm around Hajime's waist, "Was that Nii-chan?"
"Yeah, you ready to go?" he grabs Tooru's hand as they make it out the doorway. "Yeah, all set, although, what does Nee-san want?" Tooru asks as he locks the door of their house. "She said she wanted Taiyaki,"
Tooru nodded and unlocked their car and started to drive to the hospital.

"Dear, do you think Tooru and his husband would want a child soon?" Oneekawa asks her husband as she cradles her sleeping child on her left and caresses Takeru's head on her right.
"I mean Iwaizumi-kun doesn't seem like a kid person, but Tooru on the other hand does, maybe they'd make it work?"
Her husband places a glass of water in front of her and kisses her forehead, "Let me take Takeo," he gently gets his son from her arm as she takes a big gulp of water.
"Both of them are gonna be thrilled when they find out they technically named our son," Oneekawa giggles.
"Surprisingly, Iwaizumi-kun actually gave the name, Tooru-kun just tagged along," he pauses as he remembers the conversation he had with Iwaizumi, "He called our son babykawa," Oniikawa points out.
"That's cute!" Oneekawa laughs as she was interrupted by a knock on the door. Takeru gets up from his nap as the Iwaizumis let themselves in.
"Good afternoon!" Tooru greets as Takeru immediately runs to Hajime.
"Uncle Hajime!" he runs up to him, passing by Tooru as the spiky-haired male smiles brightly at him and pats his head, "Heya there Take-san,"
"Rude," Tooru pouts and places a hand on his hip before letting down the plastic bag of Tayaki. He turns his heel to his sister, "Nee-chan~" he hugs her as she pats his back.
"Tooru-chan~, long time no see!" she pinches his cheek. "Ara~ looks like Hajime-san is feeding you well,"
"You make it sound like he's my mother nee-chan," he sighs as he gives his brother-in-law a small brofist before silently approaching the small bundle in his arms.
"Hello, minikeru!" he whispers to the sleeping baby. "Minikeru?" Niikawa raises his brow playfully as Tooru laughs, "Haji-chan gave the name, stands for Mini Takeru," He runs a finger lightly on the sleeping baby's eyebrows.
"Tooru told me you loved marigolds Nee-san," Hajime put down the bouquet atop the nightstand.
"That's sweet of you both, thank you," she gives Hajime a side kiss as Tooru beckons him to come and see the newborn.
"You two wanna hold him?" Niikawa glances at the married couple.
And something clicked.
Tooru was gazing at the baby in awe, of course, but Hajime had an indescribable look on his face and a very pure aura.
Instead of handing his son to Tooru, he carefully places the baby boy down Haijime's arms. Much to the bara male's surprise.
And Tooru understood the gesture and wrapped his arm around Hajime and peered over.
"He's a precious little thing Nee-chan," Tooru whispers as Neekawa giggles in response. "I know."
Tooru glanced at his husband. The immaculate look on Hajime was breathtaking Tooru felt his heart squeeze.
Niikawa secretly takes a picture as Hajime and the sleeping baby silently bond.
His face reminded Tooru of their wedding day. That glorious glow Hajime let out was similar to what was happening but there was something a bit more different about it.
"Looks like Takeo likes you, Hajime-kun," Oneekawa remarks as both Iwaizumis look at her with a pleasantly surprised look on their faces.
"Oh my Asahi, you named him Takeo," Tooru mutters.

'Thank you for calling Holy Asahi Convent Orphanage! I'm Yukie Shimizu, how may I help you?'
"Oh umm, hi, I just wanted to inquire if you allow visitations for the kids?"
'Ah, visitation isn't exactly the word but we do allow the adoptee to see the children, I can explain further if you decide to visit in person,' Shimizu explains over the phone as Tooru peers over his shoulder.
"Ummm, do you accept gay partners?"
Shimizu laughs, 'Of course we do sir, as long as both of you are legal citizens of Japan and have clean records, there wouldn't be a problem, would you like to schedule an appointment for application?'
"Yes please,"
'Name sir?'
"Iwaizumi Tooru,"
'And what time and day would you be available?'
"Is tomorrow around 1 PM good?"
'It'll absolutely do sir, please just look for me tomorrow as you visit, thank you and have a nice day!'
"You too!" Tooru puts down the phone and sighs. He wasn't too keen on having children, but he wanted to see that face again. Hajime's face with that kind aura.
He wanted Hajime to be happy because he knew that his husband wanted kids.
They've definitely talked about it on more than one occasion, and that they shouldn't blame themselves for their lack of children.
Tooru glances at the clock.
Hajime should be home soon.
And he suddenly heard a door creak. 'Speak of the devil', he places the phone down and skips towards the doorway.
"Welcome home!" Tooru greets as Hajime smiles, "I'm home," he kisses Tooru as the taller male pulls his husband to the nearby couch.
"You seem overly eager today," Hajime looks at him confused before putting his bag and jacket down.
"I wanted to talk to you Hajime," Tooru seriously states. He suddenly felt his heart pound.
"Do you perhaps want to you know," Tooru looks away as he turns back and sees Hajime tearing up.
"H-Hajime!" he suddenly panics, "A-are you divorcing me shittykawa?"
Tooru laughs.
"HAAH? WHY ARE YOU LAUGHING?" Hajime frowns and angrily wipes his tears. "No, dummy, I wanted to ask if you wanted to y'know, adopt,"
Hajime froze as Tooru took his hands, "I'd never leave you, Hajime-chan, I could never," Tooru kisses his nose.
"Y-you wanna have a child?" Hajime looks at him with a hopeful look.
"I was on a call with an orphanage awhile ago, and I just thought, after seeing you with Takeo two days ago, that maybe it's time to adopt?" he looks at Hajime with uncertainty.
Hajime engulfs his husband in a big bara hug. "Are you for real Tooru??" he sniffs. "I won't joke about this hun," Tooru hugs back. Hajime breaks into laughter, a sound that Tooru loved so much.
"What did I do to ever deserve you Tooru?" he kisses his husband sweetly while he smiles against the kiss.
"I think I should be telling you that, my Jime-chan," Tooru giggles.
"You really give shit nicknames don't you,"
"Hey, rude!"

Yukie hands them a file as both Iwaizumis open and reads it.
"Our process here has two main factors, the pre, and post-placement," she explains as they look at her, "Our pre-placement process is basically checking if you guys are qualified to adopt and if you live in suitable environments, we also call it a home study."
"Post-placement is basically when you already have the kid living with you, our social workers would still check on the child for 6 months, no more no less," she folds her hand on the table as both of them nod.
"We're one of the orphanages that acknowledge partnership certificates and as long as neither of you has criminal records, the process can go swimmingly,"
She finishes as the Iwaizumis put down the policy folder.
"Does one parking ticket count as a crime?" Tooru asks as Yukie laughs. "No sir, it's a violation but not a crime,"
"Then we're ready to see what lies in it for us," Tooru tells her as she pulls out the folders of the kids.
After long minutes of scanning, they found one that piqued their interest.
"He was dropped off here with a card stating his first name, which is Kentaro, he's been here for 4 years now," she explains as they read his file further.
"His favorite food is Hamima Chicken," Tooru points, "Something wrong with that?" Hajime tilts his head, continuously bouncing his leg.
"No, I think it's adorable," Tooru closes the folder and hands it back to Yukie.
"Have you decided?" she kindly asks as Tooru glances at his husband. Hajime glances back, "May we see him?" Hajime asks with stars in his eyes.
Yukie nods and gets up from her chair, "Please follow me,"
They follow her to the children's playroom as they peer through the window. Tooru gasps as he hooks his arm around Hajime,
"There he is!" they see a small boy with a frown on his face seated alone in a corner with a dog plushie. They see a light brown-haired boy approach him and sit beside him.
"Kentaro doesn't really get along with the other kids that much, because he's kinda grumpy, but when you get close to him he's a real sweetheart," Yukie explains as Hajime glances at Tooru.
"Well?" his voice sounded stoic but Tooru knew his husband was excited.
"May we talk to him?" Tooru asks as he holds Hajime's hand.
"Right this way, she points to a room that had a 'CONFERENCE ROOM', sign. She opens the door and they get inside.
She opens another door leading to the playground as she calls approaches Kentaro discreetly. She takes his hand and makes him enter the conference room.
Kentaro was surprised to be called by two strange-looking men. He quietly walked up to his chair with a small pout as the Iwaizumi couple even forgot to breathe.
"Kentaro, these lovely men wanted to see you," Yukie gently explains as the small child looks at her in confusion. "Say, hi honey," Yukie urges as Kentaro struggles.
"H-hello," he grumbles, making Tooru and Hajime speechless, bound by his cute and awkward nature.
Tooru cleared his throat while lightly nudging his husband, "I am Tooru Iwaizumi, and this is Hajime Iwaizumi, my husband," he introduces the both of them as the little boy glances at Hajime.
"It's nice to meet you, Kentaro," Hajime greets with a kind smile. Something struck the boy, and suddenly he was very drawn to the smaller Iwaizumi husband.
Kentaro sticks his hand out for Hajime to shake, both Yukie and Tooru squealed in the background as Hajime shook the small hand.

Tooru places down the roller brush and stares at his magnificent work. A small self-assembled desk stood before him. He places it in the corner of the room that was going to be owned by Kentaro.
He scanned the room smiling, proud of his work.
There was a small dark green bed beside the windows since Kentaro really loved to see the moon, a white dresser against the wall, his closet was painted a light shade of green and he had a yellow toy box made by Hajime beside the black desk with an olive green chair Tooru assembled.
It wasn't a big room but it was enough for a 4-year-old boy. They had a spare room for when Kentaro gets older but for now, they wanted to cherish his small years.
Kentaro took a great liking to Hajime, and sometimes it made Tooru feel lonely. But whatever made Hajime happy, it doubled for Tooru because he had never loved anyone as much as he has with Hajime.
The dark-skinned husband snakes his hand around Tooru's waist and gives him a kiss on the cheek.
"Thanks for making his desk, Tooru," he lays his head on his husband's shoulders.
"Haji-chan~, so sappy today," Tooru snickers and gives his husband a peck before being bonked lightly on the head.
"I'm being nice to you, Crappytooru," Hajime pouts as his husband laughs,
"I'm just kidding Hajime~" he hooks his arms on Hajime's waist and gives him a peck on the lips.
The darker male lays his arm atop Tooru's as he keeps on giving Hajime pecks on his lips.
"Hey Haji-chan, I love you," Tooru pulls his husband closer and connects their foreheads. "And I can't wait to start a family with you," he smiles as Hajime cups his cheeks, "I love you too, Tooru,"
They suddenly hear the bell ring.
"Ah! The home study team is here," Oikawa lets go of Hajime as they make their way downstairs, hand in hand.
"Kentaro-chan," Tooru beckons the boy to sit on his lap. The child silently complies as Tooru lifts him and sets him on his lap.
"I'm gonna be your papa today!" he coddles the small child as Kentaro shyly grips Tooru's shirt and hugs the pretty man.
Tooru could've sworn that his heart jumped right out of his ribcage as he encloses the small child in an embrace.
"Papa Tooru," Kentaro mutters as Tooru started to tear up. "Oh my Asahi, he's too precious!" Yukie exclaims as she and Hajime walk in, Kentaro disconnecting from Tooru and raises his arms towards Hajime.
"Daddy 'Jime," he beckons the spiky-haired man as Hajime smiles and picks him up from Tooru.
"Congratulations! You can bring him home! We'd miss you Iwaizumi Kentaro!" Yukie pats the boy's head as Tooru places a hand on Hajime's shoulder.
"Our social workers would still drop by for checking until November every weekend," Yukie reminds as the Iwaizumi dads nod.
They say their biddings and leave the orphanage, Kentaro's belongings in a bag, ready to head home.
And it would take miracles upon miracles, to break the Iwaizumi's home.

BONUS:
Tooru pulls up to the elementary school gate as Hajime exits the car, opening the door for his son and taking his hand.
"Say goodbye to Papa, 'Taro," Hajime beckons to the boy as shy Kentaro waves.
"I love you Taro!" Tooru blows a kiss to his son as he blows one back, "Same here Papa!" Hajime brings his son to the gate and bends down to reach his level.
"Promise you'd continue to be a good boy 'kay?" he fluffs his son's head.
"Yes, Dad," Kentaro bows and turns around, walking in his campus as Hajime looks on with pride.
Once Kentaro reached his group of friends, Hajime turned and went back in their car.
"He's such a sweet kid," Tooru comments, as he adjusts the shift gear.
"Yeah but wait until he turns older," Hajime teases. Tooru was about to retort when his phone suddenly rings.
"Babe, kindly pick it up for me,"
"It's Yukie Shimizu," Hajime raises his brows as he answers the call.
'Good morning Mr. Iwaizumi!' the cheerful voice on the line greets.
"Good morning Mrs. Shimizu, what brings you to this call?" Hajime answers.
"Ah! Mr. Hajime! We just wanted to inform you that a little boy is up for adoption, we just wanted to inform you in case you two wanted another child,"
Tooru cuts Hajime off, "Can we see him today?"
'Of course! Drop by anytime!'
"Then we'll be on our way there,"
