Sierra's pov
"Sierra we need to talk."
I did not need to hear that when I woke up on the front porch.
"Relax. Far as I know I'm still a virgin."
"Sierra!" My mom gasped.
Sarah's face appeared in the front window. She was dressed in pajamas. Her blond hair was all messed up. She had probably just woken up. The sun was barely visible over the houses across the street.
"We need to talk about the other supers you saw last night. We just want to see what you know about them."
Other supers. Oh. I felt around the gash in my clothing. There was no evidence that I had been stabbed. This was new.
I told them what little I knew. About Leo. Flame. Boulder. The other names Leo mentioned. All the braindead zombies walking about. I mentioned I knew other supers, but I managed to hold in details.
For the life of me I can't figure out why I would tell them this stuff.
