"𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐦𝐚 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐤𝐞𝐲 𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐧𝐨𝐰." he looked up from his laptop and kept a bored face, "nah. not me. wrong bitch." giving an exhausted sigh you plopped down next to him and looked over his screen, "did i do something wrong? tell me and ill fix it-" his shoulders slumped and he rolled his eyes, "you. did. nothing. wrong. im just tired is all." you narrowed your eyes before slipping of the bed and back into a chair,
"youre always tired kozume, whats the difference today?"
"nothing. hey- its almost 4- you should get going."
nodding, you got up and walked out- only to backtrack your steps and pop your head back in the door, "drink some water and get some sleep tonight alright ko?" his eyes flickered to yours for a moment and darted back down to his computer screen, "yeah. ill try, have fun with akaashi alright?" you smiled before leaving for real.

now- by no means were you romantically interested in akaashi, you hadnt even sorted out your feelings for kenma- which was becoming increasingly difficult to do. the line between best friend and more felt a little blurred after the night he decided to kiss you. akaashi was just- akaashi. you literally didnt know him, so you decided you would make friends.
you were beginning to see how this could seem- odd.
you shook the thoughts from your mind as you turned the corner and smacked right into someone. "shit, im so sorry dude- like that was-" looking at who you bumped into, dark blue eyes that held a warmth to them looked back at you-
"akaashi! sorry!"
he waved it off and you began walking towards whatever akaashi had planned- which ended up being a walk in the park.
"so, you play volleyball too huh?"
he nodded, a small smile present- yet barely noticeable, "i play as a setter." a wide smile took your face as you looked over towards him, "kenma is too- you guys are friends right?" he looked at you before looking ahead again, "uh yeah. kenmas alright." your smile faltered a bit and a wave of awkward tension settled over you.
"favorite color?"
you looked back at akaashi to see him looking at you with a questioning look, your answer was the same as the night kenma asked you this exact question,
"i dont really know."
"you know whats funny? i dont either."
smiling again you noticed a few similarities between him and kenma, not extremely tall, not very talkative, sarcastic, and not very expressive. you realized exactly how much you had been thinking about kenma and snapped out of it-
"hey! akaashi!"
you looked over again- "do you play any games or anything?" he shook his head, "well youre gonna learn."

and that is how akaashi ended up sitting on your bed while you patiently taught him how to play animal crossing on your switch. he was a surprisingly fast learner and ended up doing quite well at the game for it being his first time-
until the discord call ringtone scared the shit out of you and you rushed to answer it-
"hey ko- whats up?"
placing your phone on speaker so you could go back to helping akaashi, you awaited kenmas response-
"hey- aye guys, mcree top left-"
you smiled a little-
"playing overwatch?"
he had a slightly irritated tone in his voice, "yes- hey, how was the date?"
immediately you felt your face heat up as you dived for your phone- quickly taking it off speaker. akaashi was smiling to himslef as he looked at you, "hey kozume?"
"oh shit."
"remind me to absolutely obliterate your ass later, kay?"
he laughed to himself a little- "yeah alright. go for it hun."
rolling your eyes you tossed your phone on the bed and looked back at akaashi-
"so that was a date huh?"
"shut up akaashi."
