Rua's Pov
I am currently running around house like a mad women because am worried about the party I am throwing for my baby it's his first birthday and everything is a complete chaos. Klaus told me that we will hire an event team and they will do it for us but me being me I told him I will do it on my own from the scratch because it's my Elijah's birthday and I will do it. We had a huge fight over it and I finally won the fight. But now I regert not hiring them this is a mess am a mess right now, Blake Om and Klaus are no where to be seen. Talking about them Klaus has been very distant with a me for past couple of weeks there something going on and no one is telling me anything I tried asking Ruth but she said she has no idea and I dont believe her. The same with Cara she acts all giddy too but I think it is due to the pregnancy so chill Zander doesn't come often because he has business to look after. But seriously there is something going on where the hell is everyone. Ruth is with the caterer looking after the food so no worry. Cara wanted to help but I immediately declined the offer saying she is pregnant and everything. I told I will look after the decorations and everything. Oh by the way the birthday party is in Klaus's backyard, he bought a house few weeks back and the back yard is huge so we thought we have the party at home so yeah the backyard is the venue, Klaus looked after the guest so that's done. But the decorations aren't done and am losing it i need more people the maid's in the house cant to everything they have to clean the house and everything. I really need a fairy right now.
"Oh darling you fairy is right here with her magic wand" I heard someone say and I looked up to see Cara standing there with 2 bodyguards on each side one holding three dress bags and the other holding bags that I didn't know what's in it.
"Cara what did I tell you about not coming here." I said standing up with a straight face. But inside I was happy to see her. Cara always has a solution for everything and I am thankful for it. In a very short time Cara, Ruth and I have become super close. Cara and Ruth are two people who I relay I on when I have something going on because they give the best advise.
"I know you are happy to see me here right now so cut the crap and attitude missy. By the way I am not going to lift a finger of mine all I have to do is say the spell." She said and nodded her heas to the guy in the right and some guys came inside.
"I know you wouldn't like me hiring people for the work so I got all the worker at my place and some bodyguard who will work on your command today." She said and stood there like a queen and I looked at her dumbfounded.
"You should really close that mouth before you catch a fly sweety and as a matter of fact we have five hours to get this done. So let's get to work women you dont want a pregnant women running in the house with a gun in her hand. Now do you." She said with a very sadists tone and let me tell you she is not someone who talks in the air when she is threatening you with something that's a real threat no fake. Never get on to her wrong side. Zander had a taste of it when he said she looks like a baby elephant with her a belly and started laughing that did hurt but more than that she was angry so she kicked him where the sun doesn't shine and she didn't let him enter the house for a whole month she ordered her guards that he will not come home till she says and believe me the guards didnt let him. That poor thing learned a very valuable lesson that day.
"Ru I dont have all day we need to get dressed up too with Eli so get the work done. I also figured that you nor Ruth will go for a shopping hunt so I took it up on my shoulder to find the dress." She said and realized that we dont have the dress to wear I looked at her sheepishly and she rolled her eyes playfully.
"Now tell them what they have to do chop chop and am going to see baby Eli." And she left yelling I love you to me and I said the same.
Then I explained everyone what they have to do and what goes where finally when they understood and started working I went our room where Klaus and I have been staying. Oh did I mention earlier that Klaus bought a house and pestered me to move in with him and after a lot of no I finally said yes to moving in the house. A really beautiful one he sold off the other house because he didn't want that anymore and bought this one
It's a really beautiful I think it sort off has a ancient and modern touch to it, the black and grey combination and the floor length glass made it look even more beautiful then it already is. So today's birthday theme is also based on this Black and white. Yup the house was the inspiration.
When I came inside the room I saw Cara sitting on the bed waiting for me her bump is been growing she is already 5 months pregnant and she looks so chill and calm. "So, how is my nephew doing? Is he giving you any trouble?"I asked her
"No not really he is being good."she said and in low voice and I know something is wrong
"Hey what's wrong? " I aksed sitting infornt of her on my knees and holding her hand.
"I dont know Ru it's just that I keep thinking if am going to be a good mom to him will he like me, will I be able to be the mom that he can look up to. What if he doesn't like me or I am not a good mom." She said almost on verge of crying.
"Dare you say that ever again C I will personally kill you." I heard Ruth barging inside the room yelling at Cara.
"True Cara do not say that again you will be the best mom and believe me the best of all we know. Dont keep think negative stuff. If you get depressed the baby is going to be to and I dont want my baby boy there all depressed so be happy and he will be happy."I said and smiled at her.
"We are here Cara we will help you out when something goes wrong and we will figure out everything together remember we are forever. Ruth hugging Cara and I joined the hug too.
"I love you two thank you for everything. You'll everything I ever asked for my own family." She said crying a little.
"I love you two too." I said to Ruth and Cara and Ruth said the same.
"Okay we have to get ready I brought you the dresses so let's get going first we will give a bath to Eli and then one by one will take a bath. I will do the makeup as we all love it to keep natural it won't take a lot of time." She said and gave us our dress.
I opened mine and I was shocked to the dress was pure white half shoulder.
When I touched the dress it felt so smooth and delicate. I was terrified thinking I will spoil it I looked at Cara, Ruth and the dress and I decided. "I am not wearing it." I said it out loud and looked at Cara
"Why? Is it not nice?" She questioned
"No, its beautiful I love it but I afriad i will spoil it you know how clumsy i am and your are making me wear white for God sake I will destroy the dress even before the party ends." I said slumped on the bed.
Ruth came beside me and said " you know it okay if you spoil it we can get it cleaned later and stop being so dramatic and wear the dress." She said pulling me off the bed and into the washroom with Eli.
"Do not come out without having a bath and you are wearing that dress clumsy or not. I spent 3 hours searching that dress not to hear you whine about being clusmy and not wearing that." Cara said standing in front of the door and I gulped down looking at her. She looked absolutely terrifying.
"Go. Have. A. Bath" she said stressing each a every word. And I nodded looking at her.
Once I closed the door I immediately got Eli into the tub and cleaned him up once he was done I handed over him to Ruth and got freshen up immediately. Later when all three of us got freshen up we started wearing our dress one by one and simultaneously we got a hair and makeup done too.
Cara had a black halter dress with a long slit on her left leg.
Ruth dress was the combination of both black and white. She had a white collar top with deep v cut and elbow length sleeves and matched with long black skirt.
Finally it was time to get Elijah ready as we are already late by 30 minutes if we dont get down now am sure one of the men would barge in.
I made Eli wear a black and white tux with a cute bow.
He looked so adorable in his tux that Cara and Ruth couldn't stop gushing and saying handsome boy.
Once we were done we went down directly to the backyard where the party had started already and I also saw the guest coming. When we reached the backyard the decorations were beautiful with white balloons everywhere and you could black ones here and there. They also hung the candles everywhere to make it more bright, a little camp was set in a corner with all kinds of toys and I saw all the kids enjoying. There's also tree trucks placed in a semi circular shape where one can sit and have a chat that official is my favorite thing of the evening and I decided that place is not going to be removed after the party.
Then I started searching for Klaus in the crowd and he was no where to be found so I went in search for him with Eli playing in my arms and once a while I had to stop and interact with our guest and then I would search for him. When I thought of giving up I left a hand sneak around my waist and hot breath on ear I started panicking until the person spoke
" Looking for someone babe" he said I turned around to look at him. He looked breathtaking in his full black suit and his mesmerizing blue eyes.
"You look handsome."I said looking into his eyes.
"And you look like an angle in this dress." He said smiling and kissing my lips.
Eli didn't like the fact that he wasn't getting any attention so he started wriggling in my arms which made us pull apart. When he saw he had our attention he gave us his best smile and went towards his dad he took him in his arms and said
"You are becoming a bad boy you aren't you." He said and Eli laughed clapping his hands.
"I think we should go now so he can cut his birthday cake" I said jumping. Klaus laughed looking at my antics and said
"I will never get bored of this." And held my hand with his free one. When we walked to the party I saw Blake in Black suit, Om was matching Ruth's outfit and same with Zander
"Finally the hosts showed up so we can start the party." Blake said
"Someone is eager. Is there a certain someone you have to go to." Cara asked him
"Ahhh... so blakey here has someone waiting for him." Ruth said with a smirk on her face.
"Oh yea! The certain someone that has two legs two hands is a little handsome that you'll were looking at in the mall two days back." He said shocking us.
"Seriously" Zander asked looking at Cara
"I didn't do anything it was Ruth who said he was handsome." Cara said immediately
"Now is that true." Om asked looking her
"No I saw Rua seeing him and I saw him she was the first to say he is handsome and gorgeous." She said throwing the entire shit on my head and I saw everyone looking at me.
"What? We will talk about it later Klaus." I said and pulled him towards the guest and glared at all of them.
"You know I believe you right. And what happened back there I don't trust that because I know you are mine." He said possessively in my ears and looked at him with a smile.
After a while we cut the cake and got tons of pictures it was fun but someone didnt like being pinched on his cheeks or being touched by anyone so he was always in one of the family member arms playing and would glare at anybody who tries taking him which was absolutely funny.
Around 8 the guest started leaving the party and I was more than thankful because my legs were aching and all I wanted was to stretch my legs. I saw Klaus coming he sat beside me and I put my head of his shoulder and hugged him.
"Tired"he asked
"Yea. Where is Eli?" I asked him he said he is inside with the others playing.
"The guys drank a little too much I think we cant let them drive like that. Klaus." I said and looked him
"I already told them to stay so they are staying her for the night." He said and kissed my crown
"That's nice." I said and hugged him tightly
"Come on let's go inside. Eli is hyper active and dont think he will be sleeping anytime soon." He said and I laughed at that.
When we went inside I saw Zander throwing him up in the air and Eli was laughing hysterically. I saw Cara and Ruth talking about something thats going on in the TV Om and Blake were having a brink at the bar.
When the saw us inside they all smiled and walked towards the couch. Zander put Eli on the ground and gave him some toys to play with.
"Here these are our gifts." Cara said handing me three bags full.
"You know these are just too much and you shouldn't have brought all these." I said and looked at me blankly
"Its either all this or a gun" she said in a very calm tone
"A G..un" I stuttered
"Yes. It was his idea but I stopped that from happening." She said smiling now.
"Really a Gun. You wanted to give him a gun he is 1 year Zander." I said shocked and he just shrugged
"Here this from me." Blake said and gave me bag.
"I got him a gun not the actual one." He said and pulled it out from the bag he gave me.
I looked at him blankly and said "definitely you two are brother."
"Here" Om said giving me a bag too
"Tell me its not another gun." I said flatley
"Nah..." he said and I thanked god for it.
That night we spoke for hours non of us wanted to sleep and that day we made a pact that once a month we will all meet together like this and have one full day for us.
