"Ryuzaki?" Watari came from behind. I got kinda bored just watching Light doing homework so i just doodled.
"What is it, Watari?"
"A few minutes ago, A bank clerk being questioned on suspicion of embezzlement, and a purse snatched being held in a detention centre were broadcast on the news...."
Let me guess...They died?. I looked back on the cameras and light was still working...He couldn't possibly be kira.
"They both just died of sudden, inexplicable heart attacks."

"it's him again!" Chief stood up. But they are low criminals..Doesn't kira go for the more dangerous ones? or could it just be they could only be broadcasted.
"While all that was happening at your home. Your wife and daughter were watching television. When that was over they turned the TV off and didn't watch anything after wards"
Meanwhile Light has been studying...
"L-light's been doing nothing but s-studying. Kira needs a face and name, Witho-out those he can't k-kill". I continued to doodle
"That means my family is cleared?" Yagami asked. But those are low criminals...
"It doesn't make sense that Kira would kill two petty criminals" L spoke. I just nodded
"It almost seems the yagami house seems too innocent to me" He put his thumb on his lips and continued monitoring Light.
{Again time skip}
"In the past few days, I have listened to all of our audios recordings and reviewed the video we captured"
We had a meeting early morning today. Everyone just seems eager to hear what Ryūzaki has to say about their families, Of course L had a investigation on me before the rest of the guys
He pulled out a chocolate out of a wrapping and continues speaking
"And i've come to a conclusion. Our surveillance of the kitamura and Yagami households, has revealed..."
The families we monitored seemed innocent enough to me but that's up to L to decide
"nothing"
I smiled at everyone reassuring them even more.
"We will remove the cameras and wiretaps" He ate and spoke. Ryuzaki sure seems to like sweets..I wonder if i could find a lollipop..
I wandered around looking in the other rooms which i found a table full of sweets! Candies, lollipops, marshmallows, you name it. I grabbed a cherry one and walked back
Everyone was relieved and happy

"Kohana?"
"Yes R-ryuzaki?" I was organizing papers since it was all over the place.
"How would you like to go back to collage?" He grabbed a candy
"What."
L handed me some clothes and explained the situation. It seems Light is still under suspicion of Kira and L wants to investigate closer, But he never leaves...I haven't even seen him leave this hotel once!
{Knock knock}
"The car is waiting outside." Wait are we leaving now? But I graduated just last year! why do i have to go back?
"Thank you Watari"
"Well? let's go" He walked out the door leaving me clueless. Isn't exams today?
it was a 10 minute ride to the university from the hotel. There were lots of students heading in, This is the best university in town apparently but i didn't attend as too, so many people. Watari opened the door for me
"Thank y-you" I smiled
I looked over at L and he hasn't even changed clothes...Why do i have too?
"We just have to ace the tests and we're fine" He spoke. What.
"W-what."
"Is that a problem?" He tilted his head. I looked the other way and nodded.
"No..." I mumbled. Man I was really hoping not to go to a huge place of social life...
We sat with each other but L hasn't really brought anything..He just looked up ahead and continued to stare
"And begin!"
wtf. I didn't even know we were started. All student quickly grabbed their pencils and got to work. But L he just sat in his abnormal position and stared at a boy up ahead
"You there, Student number 162. Sit properly in your chair." The teach came up, L didn't care he ignored him in fact

{2007 TO-HO UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE CEREMONY}
Damn I have to take collage all over again? Only a year was torture enough...
L and I were in our seats waiting for it to start.
"Now for the freshman address, freshmen representative, Light Yagami." The man said.
"Yes."
"And freshman representative, Hideki Ryuga."
People all over were shocked to hear that name. He's a famous pop star who stars in many movies, I'm not all of a fan due to someone kidnapping me for a case.
"Oh that's up here" L walked right over too.
"And another, Rai Shizu"
I fell behind L. I don't want to talk, If i made a mistake everyone would laugh...Then id be the embarrassment of the school
"Y/n..." Ryuzaki whispered.
"You don't have to if you don't want too, I understand" He slightly smiled.
"O-ok...Thank you". We all stood on the podium which I was hiding behind Ryuzaki

Light began the speech. After him was L..I didn't pay much attention and just zoned off
until we sat back down.
"Light?, Light Yagami?" L spoke. I wonder what he's up too now...
"Your father is chief Soichiro Yagami of the NPA. Your respect for your father is matched only by your strong sense of justice"
We sat down and of course L sat in his odd position. I just listened in, L just told me we were attending this
"You're planning to join the police agency when you graduate. And you have already got experience, seeing as you've helped the police dive a number of cases in the past"
I didn't know he helped out the force..I am new but i would've remembered his face if i seen him.
"Now, you're showing interest in the kira case. I'm impressed by your abilities and your sense of justice." Light seemed uncomfortable at the moment. Well this man just came up and explained everything he knows about him
"If you promise not to tell anyone about this, I have important information concerning the kira investigation". What? He is the leader of this case, what does he mean?
"I won't tell anyone, What is it?" He finally spoke.
"I want to tell you I'm L"
JABJSH L! RYUZAKI!
"R-Ryuga!" Wha- Doesn't he not want people to find out!?
A silence came down, Light and L were just staring at each other without a word.
"If you are who you say you are, then you have nothing but my respect and admiration." He sure is polite...
"Thank you.."
"The reason i chose to reveal my identity to you Is because i think you could be some help for us on the kira case" L said.
"And whose this?" He looked over to me.
"Your Girlfriend?"
I almost choked
"N-No! I'm j-just friends with h-him" I blushed and looked the other way.
"Rai? Oh no..She's just an friend"

"Hey light?" L and i stood by each as Light was walking by
"It was nice meeting you". I bowed and smiled. W-well, that was an interesting first encounter, just what does L have in mind?
Why would he reveal himself to Light when he's the main suspect?
