Today is Benji's biological mom Aubrey's would have been 30th birthday.
Benji was only twenty months old when both of his biological parents passed away in a house fire. Benji was the only survivor of the house fire and has a few burn scars on his body from that fateful day.
Benji has a lot of memories of his birth mom but not a lot of good ones, which makes Will and RJ both really sad.
Will and RJ both wished Benji had more happy memories with his mom but they can't fix what happened in the past but they can make her birthday a happy day for Benji instead of a sad one.
Right now, Will, RJ, Benji, Coralei, Averie, Theodore, Harlow and Luca are all in the car together and they are all heading to the cemetery to visit Benji's mom Aubrey.
Will, RJ, Benji, Coralei, Averie, Theodore, Harlow and Luca are going to put birthday balloons and flowers on her grave stone and then they will eat chocolate donuts, which was Aubrey's favorite sweet treat!
Will, RJ, Benji, Coralei, Averie, Theodore, Harlow and Luca are all listening to music while RJ drives to the cemetery.
After a ten minute drive from home, Will, RJ, Benji, Coralei, Averie, Theodore, Harlow and Luca are now at the cemetery where Benji's mom Aubrey is buried at.
RJ carefully turns into the small cemetery entrance and he drives to where Aubrey's grave is.
"Daddy! Papi! Look at all of the geese over there! Look at all of the geese!" Averie says as she looks out the window and she sees about fifty geese standing together.
"Wow! I see all of them, Avy! They are all very very pretty!" Will says to Averie happily.
"They are sooooo cute and pretty, Daddy!" Averie says with a big smile and Will smiles back at her.
"Awwwwww! Soooo toote!" Harlow says with a big cheeky smile on her face.
"There are a lot of ducks over there too, Daddy and Papi!" Coralei says happily.
"Yeah! Duckies! I wuv duckies!" Theodore says as he gets very excited to see the ducks and geese.
"Quack quack!" RJ says making all of the kids laugh loudly. and smile.
*Benji, Coralei, Averie, Theodore, Harlow and Luca's outfits*
After five minutes of driving around the cemetery, Will, RJ, Benji, Coralei, Averie, Theodore, Harlow and Luca have all found Benji's mom's grave.
"We are here now, guys." RJ says with a big grin on his face as he parks the car.
"Yay!" Harlow and Theodore both say in unison as they unbuckle out of their car seats.
"Ba ba ba ba." Luca says as he smiles at RJ and Will.
"Hi, baby boy! Hi! This is your first time here, huh?" Will says as he picks up Luca out of his car seat and holds him in his arms, making Luca smile.
"It is my first time too, Daddy and Papi!" Averie says with a big grin.
"That's right, Avy! It is your first time too!" RJ says as he helps Coralei, Averie, Theodore and Harlow out of the car.
Benji then gets out of the car and he is proudly holding his mom's birthday balloons that he picked out for his mom.
"Don't let go of the balloons, Bubba!" Coralei says as she, Averie, Theodore and Harlow all giggle loudly, making Benji giggle and smile back.
"I won't! I am not that dumb to do that!" Benji says with a cheeky smile at his little sister and with some sass.
Will, Luca, RJ, Harlow, Theodore, Coralei, Averie and Benji all walk over to Aubrey's grave which is in the middle of a nice green grassy area.
"Here she is right over here! Aww, she has a lot of of pretty flowers for her birthday!" Will says to the kids as he bounces Luca in his arms.
"She sure does! Your mom loved flowers didn't she, bubba?" RJ asks Benji.
"Yes! Mommy really loved flowers and she loved to garden!" Benji says proudly with a big grin.
"Aww." Will says softly as he rubs Benji's back and Benji smiles.
Coralei, Averie, Theodore and Harlow all smile as they look at all of the flowers by the gravestone.
"Happy birthday, Aubrey!" RJ says with a smile.
"Happy thirtieth birthday, Aubrey!" Will says as he kisses Luca.
"Happy birthday, Mommy! I love you and miss you!" Benji says out loud as Will and RJ both smile at him.
"Baaa baaaa!" Luca says as he smiles.
"Happy birfday!" Theodore and Harlow both say in unison happily.
"Happy birthday bubba's mommy!" Averie says with a big cheeky smile.
"Happy birthday, Benji's mommy!" Coralei says happily.
"Bubba, I am going to put the sunflowers you picked out right over here okay?" RJ says to Benji and Benji nods.
"Okay, Papi! That is a perfect spot for them!" Benji says as he smiles and sits down in front of his mom's grave stone.
Will sits Luca down in the grass next to Benji and Luca happily begins to play with the grass making Will and RJ both chuckle.
Coralei, Averie, Theodore and Harlow all sit in the grass next to Benji.
"Daddy, can you tie Mommy's balloons right there, please?" Benji asks Will and will happily nods.
"Sure, bud! I can do that for you! I think your mom is loving the cute rose gold pink balloons and the sunflowers you picked out for her birthday!" Will says and Benji smiles.
"I am sure she loves all of these things and she loves you!" RJ says and Benji smiles at RJ.
Will ties the three and zero balloons behind Aubrey's grave stone and Benji smiles happily.
"Do you like them there, bubba?" Will asks Benji and Benji nods.
"Yes! I really like it, Daddy!" Benji says to Will with a huge smile.
"Good!" Will says with a big smile back at Benji.
"Okay, kiddos! Who wants a chocolate donut?" RJ asks the kids as he grabs the donut box.
"MEEEEEEE!" Harlow and Theodore both say in unison to RJ.
"I do! I do!" Averie says with excitement.
"I do too, Papi!" Coralei says happily.
"Me too, Papi!" Benji says with a big cheeky smile.
RJ then hands Harlow, Theodore, Averie, Coralei and Benji a chocolate donut to have!
Will and RJ then grab a donut for themselves.
"Do you wanna try a donut, Luca?" RJ asks in a babyfied voice and Luca smiles ear to ear.
RJ gives Luca a small piece of a donut and Luca sucks on it making Will and RJ both giggle.
"Benji's mommy loved chocolate donuts so that's why we are having one for her birthday today!" Will says to the kids.
RJ takes a picture of himself, Will, Luca, Benji, Theodore, Harlow, Averie and Coralei all eating their chocolate donuts.
"Daddy! Papi! We need to sing happy birthday to mommy!
"That's right, we do need to sing happy birthday!" Will says with a cheeky smile.
RJ grabs another donut from the donut box and he places a few candles on the donut. Will then lights the candles up with a lighter!
"Okay, kiddos! Let's sing!" RJ says to Benji, Coralei, Averie, Theodore, Harlow and Luca!
"Yay!" Benji, Coralei, Averie, Theodore and Harlow all say in unison happily.
"Ba ba!" Luca says happily.
"Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday dear Aubrey! Happy birthday to you!" Will, RJ, Benji, Coralei, Averie, Theodore and Harlow all sing happily.
Benji smiles and blows out the candles causing Will, RJ, Coralei, Averie, Theodore, Harlow and Luca all cheer loudly!
Will, RJ, Benji, Coralei, Averie, Theodore, Harlow and Luca all hang out at the cemetery for an hour before they all head back home!
Benji was happy to celebrate his mom's birthday with his family! :)

(three sisters and two brothers) he is a fourth grader and is in the top of his class! we all had chocolate donuts to celebrate aubrey's birthday since that was her favorite sweet treat! 🍩 benji knows all about his biological parents addictions. it is very important for adopted children to know their history and where they came from, whether if it's good or bad. benji is very lucky to have a very close relationship with his biological mom's family and they all tell him stories about his mom and what type of person she was prior to her addictions. despite her struggles with addictions and domestic violence, she always wanted to be a mother and she loved benji very much. benji was her world and she did the best she could have to raise him the right way. the last few years of aubrey's life were very hard. she lived her life the best she could. she is at peace now and she is resting 💜 thank you aubrey for bringing this special little man into the world and doing the best you could for him. he loves you and so do we. rest easy now, your baby boy is safe and so loved 🎈"
