I didn't even sleep last night, after all do that happened...the kiss everything just kinda turned around. I mean I've been avoiding Naya all day because of it, it's not that I didn't want to tell her its just that I wasn't ready, I didn't want her to get mad at me or even Ruby. I know she wants to talk about it because eveytime we talk she starts with what happened yesterday and I just either change the subject or avoid her and walk away.
"Fancy seeing you here" I was throwing out the trash in the back when Ruby popped out of nowhere, I had 4 black bags around me so I couldn't do it by myself and well Naya, I was still avoiding her.
"What are you doing here?" I told her getting another trash bag from the floor and putting it in the bin
"Saw you here and decided to come here and accompany you...and help you also" Ruby grabbed a trash bag and helped me "Did you tell your girlfriend that's why she isn't here helping you" she smirked and I just wanted to knock that smirk of her face
"No I actually haven't, and I don't want too, why would you even do that if you knew I had a girlfriend"
"Maybe because I like you so much" I shook my head
"And? I don't care if you do or don't like me that doesn't give you a reason to kiss me" I was seriously ticked off because of it
"I'm sorry I couldn't contain myself, it's just that you're so beautiful" She took a step closer to me making me step back bumping into the trash bins
"Just go away okay, I don't even like you" I rolled my eyes and looked at anywhere except her face which was so close to mine
"Why not Demi, is it because im not as sweet as Naya is or the fact that I don't have a little nickname for you? Maybe because she gave you a puppy and I didn't. I mean I could give you more" Her hand went on my hips "...ill give you whatever you want" I tried pushing her off of me but she didn't budge, I pushed her again a little harder making her back off a little bit "Well no need to be rough" she chuckled and grabbed another trash bag putting it in the bin "I'll see you later babe"
"Don't call me that" I mumbled looking at the concrete floor. I could see her looking at me through the corner of my eye, before I saw her walk away making me look up and stare off into the same way she had just walked minutes ago. I finished putting the last trash bag in the bin before I went inside the house seeing that my family was still not home, it's almost 5 and they're still not back. I was honestly tired and I just wanted to take a nap, maybe mostly because I've been cleaning the house the whole day or I just couldn't sleep the whole night. I entered my room only to be greeted by Naya playing with Buddy, she was on the floor sitting down, she looked so adorable right now, she must have noticed me because she got up from her spot and she looked at me dead in the eye
"Where have you been?" Her voice sounded so harsh
"I was here Nay" I said kinda low making her face soften a little but within seconds it was back to normal
"You were gone for almost 20 minutes Demi do you think that I'm that stupid?!" She whispered at me "I...I want to know what happened between you and Ruby yesterday, I know something happened because you and her couldn't keep your eyes off of each other yesterday after I caught you two in your room alone"
"Naya..." I began "She kissed me" I mumbled "not only that-"
"What do you mean she kissed you?! You let her?"
"No Naya she kissed me unexpectedly, I-I didn't kiss her back I swear, she-" Before I knew it she was out of the door, I followed her finding her outside in the sidewalk just standing there looking around
"I forgot where she lives so...." she let out a sigh and looked at me frowning a bit "Do you know why she kissed you?"
"She likes me that's what she told me and that's not even it. Earlier when I was putting the trash away she kinda showed up and um...I guess she tried to do it again" She let out a sarcastic laugh
"Oh fucking great so it's happened twice. Shes trying to take what's mine!" Her eyebrows furrowed and she looked back at the houses that were around us "I knew that she had a thing for you"
"How would you know that?"
"Because she was practically undressing you under her eyes the whole night since she got there, it was rather annoying. Now it all makes sense, she hated me so much because I had you and she didn't" she let out a soft chuckle "Well she's not getting you anytime soon, and if she thinks she can easily take you away from me she is so wrong" She looked so determined and mad but also concentrated like she was planning the death of her next victim....what if she is? No Demi stop inferring things.
"Naya, babe" I put both of my hands on her cheeks trying to get her attention "Just promise me that you won't go ape when you see her or try to jump her" she groaned and stomped her foot on the ground
"Can I at least talk shit to her? I mean-"
"Nothing, don't even try to look at her, we're only here a couple of more days, everything will be fine" She nodded and I saw her eyes dart to my lips, I connected our lips softly and passionately making her put her hands on my hips pushing me a little closer to her.
"Those lips are so sweet" She said once we broke the kiss
"Now mind helping me train Buddy to catch and do other tricks"
"It's Ash" she mumbled.
The day could've gone better, well it was going bad to great then to bad again when my parents announced that they were having a dinner with our neighbors again which was freaking fantastic(note the sarcasm there) I mean what better way then to kick off your New Year with Ruby and her family.
"Demetria come help me set out the plates" I groaned and looked back at Naya who just urged me to go. She giggled seeing me roll my eyes before going to the kitchen
"What's up mom?"
"Here put these on the tables and when you're done put glasses and all of that good stuff" I nodded and started setting the plates in the table along with a empty glass. After that I set up the forks and spoons next to the plates "All done mom" she gave me a small smile
"How you and Naya doing?"
"Good why?" She shook her head
"Just asking. Im happy to see you happy Demi, your eyes light up when you're near here it's great" She rubbed my forearm slightly "Now get out of here and get ready for our guest they should be here any minute now" My face quickly fell but I recovered rapidly before my mom could see me.
"Yeah mom she's here. I'm sorry mommy, I know we had a promise and I'll promise I'll bring her as soon as possible" I slowly walked up to Naya while she was on the phone, she saw me and smiled a little "yes mom! I will mom, as a matter of fact she's standing in front of me right now....No mom I will not ask her that!" I giggled at Naya's tone "Okay mom bye...I-I love you too" I heard her mumble the last part
"Yeah mommy very very sorry" I pouted
"Shut up. My moms mad because I promised her you could meet her this week but I told her that we probably can't go because you have plans and stuff so yeah..." she rubbed the back of her neck looking at the floor.
"It's alright, tell your mom I will make it next week I promise" She looked up at me shocked. Before she can even say anything the doorbell rang signaling that our 'guest' were here. "I'll get it" I mumbled. I went to the front door and took a deep breath before opening the door
"Demi!" Rubys parents greeted me with hugs
"Hi" I said, once I saw Ruby behind them my bright smile turned into a frown
"Demetria" She greeted me opening her arms, I didn't want to hug her but my mom and Rubys parents were watching us so I kinda had no choice and it was all about manners so I just went in for a hug. Her arms circled around my back, she held on to me tightly "You smell great" she said against my shoulder before releasing me from the hug, she looked behind me and smirked before walking away. I turned around and saw Naya looking at Ruby shooting her daggers before going up to me and putting her arm around me, she had a glass of water in her hand and if it was possible by the way she was gripping the glass she could've broken it.
"Naya you're going to break it" I took the glass away from her hand
"I don't care she was hugging you so tightly and her hands were slowly going down your back" I saw her jaw clench.
"Don't be jealous Naya she won't do nothing"
"She already did. She freaking kissed you, who knows what that bitch could do next" she shook her head "And yes I am very jealous right now because she had her hands all over you so I have the right to be jealous" I shut her up by kissing her making her melt into the kiss immediately
"Just enjoy the night, ignore her. She won't do anything as long as you're with me" She grinned at me and intertwined our fingers placing a kiss on my temple, I love when she does that.
"No problemo"
