"Everyone! She's about to attack! Get out of the way!" Jazzsong ordered.

All of Thunderclan crammed themselves into the nursery.

"Accept Starclan!" Stargleam screeched.

When the glow was gone, so were the evil cats. Tigerstar, Tigerfang, all of them.

Stargleam then collapsed onto the crimson grass, breathing heavily.

"I can't fight anymore..." Stargleam whispered.

Jazzsong ran up to the she-cat.

"S-Stargleam... no..." Jazzsong said, sniffling.

Jazzsong buried her nose in Stargleam's fur. "We've gone too far! You can't die now! I-I love you!"

Lakepool and Redfur exchanged a glance.

"Don't go near her!" Jazzsong hissed.

The cats backed up, a little in fear.

Stargleam coughed up blood. "I love you too."

Stargleam looked up. "Jazzsong... I can see them."

"Who? Who can you see, my love?" Jazzsong asked.

"All of them." Stargleam replied. "Even Fluffykit! Starclan is calling me..."

"Don't die! Please!" Jazzsong said.

Stargleam looked at Jazzsong, her orange eyes slightly faded. "I love you too, and I'm sorry."

Jazzsong put a paw on Stargleam.

"Never forget that." Stargleam continued.

"I won't. Not ever." Jazzsong cried.

"I will be gone, but I still live on..." Stargleam coughed.

"Where?" Jazzsong sniffed.

"In...your...heart..." Stargleam said

"My heart?" Jazzsong asked.

"Yes. In the hearts of all the clan, all the memories we made." Stargleam could barely move at this point.

The purple she-cat closed her eyes, and stopped moving and breathing.

Her spirit flew out of her body, up into the sky, until she was no longer visible. Her body was gone, too.

"What were those lights?" Redfur asked.

Lakepool shrugged. "I think it's the souls of all the warriors."

"And Starclan." Redfur added.

"Yes." Lakepool purred. "And Starclan."
