You woke up the next morning, and Roc wasn’t in bed. You walked into the living room, and seen him playing with Chresanto Jr. He was a month old now, and so he had his facial features now. He had a small move on the right side of his face, and he was starting to look more like Roc. And even though Roc couldn’t remember the son that he thrived for, he still bonded with him as if he never lost his memory.

“You’re sexy. Just like your dad.” Roc said lifting him up, and inching his face close to his. He looked and seen you walking pass him behind the couch.

“Good morning.” Roc said smiling at you. This felt weird, because you didn’t hear a ‘good morning baby’ or a ‘damn, you’re finally awake?’ phrase that Roc would always give you.

“Good morning.” You moaned. You were still depressed about the night before, and you showed it. But Roc couldn’t tell because he didn’t know how the sex you guys had, usually was.

You walked into the kitchen, and breakfast wasn’t made. You were getting frustrated because you kept forgetting the accident. But you were so used to the old Roc because the old Roc was there just a few days ago. You took out some lasagna hamburger helper, and smiled to yourself.

“Hey baby..” You said putting your arm around him, and giving him a kiss on the cheek.

“Yeah?”

“You want me to make your favorite, tonight?” You said giving him a flirty look.

“Buffalo wings and potato skins?” He said smiling at you.

“What?” You said, getting thrown off.

“My favorite food?” He said laughing at you, and giving you a kiss on the lips. “Thank you baby.”

You glared at him. It was almost like he was a different person, in a different state of mind, or in a different zone. Even though this was happening before your eyes, this moment didn’t seem realistic at all. You thought of something good that would get him out of the house.

“Babe, you have work today.” You moaned.

“Oh yeah! Shit I forgot!” Roc said jumping up, running into his room, and throwing on a decent jogging suit.

“You remember where you work?” You asked as you peeked inside of your room.

“Yeah. I work at Home Depot.” He responded.

“Wow.” You thought to yourself. All you could think of, was how did he remember where he worked, his friends, and even his own school that he went to in the 6th grade, but he didn’t remember you, or some of his relatives. Roc had grabbed all of his things and met Prodigy outside, and he didn’t give you a kiss or hug. He didn’t tell you that he loved you, nor did he acknowlege you. He gave Chresanto Jr. a kiss on his forehead, and left.

Later that day, you invited Stacy and the rest of the girls over so that you could vent. With the stress of the baby in the accident, you had so many bottled up emotions that you had to let out that you kept bottled in.

“He’s like a different person now.” You said staring off at the floor as you held your wine glass.

“How? I mean I know he’s lost his memory, but does it treat you bad?” Leah asked.

“He doesn’t treat me AS good.” You continued. “We had sex last night, and it was so disappointing.”

“It was bad?” Stacy gasped.

“No. It just wasn’t as good as it usually is.” You snarled. “What Roc always does, is he grabs my waist, grabs my arms, grabs my hands, grabs my back, claw at my skin, tongue kisses my neck, and more. Now he doesn’t even keep eye contact with me. He wasn’t aggressive like he usually was, he didn’t take control of the sex, he did none of that. It was almost like I had sex with a different person or something.”

“Wow.” All four of the girls said.

“Maybe if you reteach him how to do it, he’ll learn.” Melissa said.

“But this was years worth of sex that we had to learn. Like, he knew how to do it already.” You whined. “That isn’t as easy as it sounds.”

“Well if he keeps taking that medicine that’ll remind him of some of his memory, he’ll be better in no time.” Stacy said, rubbing your leg. “Don’t lose faith in him.”

Later that day, Prodigy picked Roc up from work and dropped him off back home. He had to drive him around from place to place until you both found a new car. But he had no problem doing it. But before he arrived home, he found out that Ray Ray was having a ‘get well’ party because he was coming home later on that night.

“Are you coming to the party?” Roc asked as he looked in the mirror and got ready.

“No.” You said rocking Chresanto Jr. to sleep. “I think i’m just gonna stay here with the baby.”

“Alright then. I’ll see you later I guess.” Roc said waving at you, and driving away with Prodigy. He still didn’t give you a kiss, a hug, or nothing. You were getting adjusted to it, and you werent. This wasn’t something that you wanted to get used to.

Roc had walked into the house full of people, and everybody clapped when they seen him. They were happy that he was doing just as well as Ray Ray in the hospital. When he looked around, he didn’t recognize 25% of the people there because of the accident, but he remembered a majority of Ray Ray’s family and friends. Roc’s family was there also.

After he arrived, that’s when everyone began to drink and party. Ray Ray had on a cast around his right arm, and some bandages under his shirt. He could walk, but he was still a little sore. He had a few signatures on his cast, as Roc grabbed a sharpie, walked over to him, and signed it. He was so happy to see Ray Ray out of the hospital.

“My man Ray Ray!” Roc said giving him a handshake with on his left arm. There was a few of his cousins sitting around him on the couch.

“My boy Roc!” He cheered as he sipped a little bit of his alcohol. “How you been? I heard you lost a little bit of your memory.”

“Yeah.” He moaned. “I don’t remember the woman i’m living with. I forgot her name, and we supposedly have a child that I don’t remember making. But I remember his name because it’s the same name as mine. But I have no clue on when his birthday is, his blood type, nothing.”

“You don’t remember (Y/N)?” Ray Ray asked as his jaw dropped. “You’re joking!”

“That’s her name! (Y/N)!” Roc shouted as he pointed to Ray Ray. “And no. I see pictures of us all around the house, but I don’t remember taking any of them.”

“Your son’s birthday is on July 3rd, man.” Ray Ray said shaking his head. “It was the happiest day of you and (Y/N)’s life.”

“I don’t remember any of it.” Roc said in a sad tone. “And supposedly we’re engaged, but I don’t know why. She bores me. It seems like all she does is sit around and mope. We didn’t even have good sex for a couple that’s supposed to be married.”

“This is crazy bro! In the accident, you were telling me how you were going to buy her a ring, marry her, and more. Even back then you used to tell me how good you guys sex was! As nasty as this sounds, you told me that she made you bust 3 nuts at one time! No girl has ever made me do that.”

“I didn’t bust a single nut that whole session, Ray.” Roc groaned. “I don’t know what it is, but I don’t want to marry a woman that I have no chemistry with.”

“She’s gonna be so heartbroken.” He said in a low tone. “I don’t think you should leave her.”

Then, Roc seen a woman that caught his eye. She was one of the most beautiful woman that he’d seen in a while. She was lightskinned, had thick hair, a white tank top, tan shorts, and some white flip flops. He stared at her for a minute, then he broke his stare and looked at Ray Ray.

“Oh my goodness.” Roc whispered to Ray Ray. “Who is that girl over there?”

“That’s Kiloni!” Ray Ray responded. “I don’t think that you two have met but-“

“I have to meet her.” Roc said getting up. “She’s beautiful.”

Roc slowly walked through all of the people that was filling up in the house, until he finally made it over to her. He stood in front of her and smiled as she smiled back at him.

“What’s your name, sweetheart?” Roc asked her.

“I’m Kiloni. I’m here for Ray Ray.” She said putting out her hand. “Yours?”

“Chresanto. But everybody calls me Roc.” He said, shaking her hand.

“Roc, huh? Nice to meet you.”

“I think that you’re gorgeous.” He said in a flirty tone as he looked at her. “I seen you from across the room and went ‘Damn! Who is that?”

“Oh my gosh. Really?” Kiloni said laughing at his comment.

“Yeah. So what do you think of me? You think i’m hot?”

“You’re kind of hot. But you’re not hotter than me, though.” Kiloni said, winking at him.

“Ooooh.” Roc grinned. “How about we debate about this tonight? Your phone number?”

Kiloni grabbed Roc’s hand, wrote her phone number on his palm, then put a heart at the bottom. She then set the marker down, and made her way towards the door.

“Where are you going?” He hollered over the loud music.

“I have to go. Don’t forget to call me.” She said giving him a flirty look, then leaving Ray Ray’s house.

“I won’t. I won’t.” Roc thought in his head as he held his tongue out of his mouth.
