Sewa's heart sank when she heard the word Lanre spat out. She was taken aback by his words, this was the first time she'd see him act this way.

Lanre stared at her and she did so too. Then she realised she said some hurtful words to him, she felt bad about it. She had said much harsher words to him before but he never got angry so why now? She thought to herself.

Did he by chance find out about her two personalities? She asked herself, biting her lips whilst staring at Lanre.

She folded her arms across her chest, Lanre didn't know anything or else, he would have called her and she would have known he had found out.

Although Lanre was really calm and reserved, his temper was hard to keep at bay when it escalated. Once he got angry, it was hard to please him as he wasn't really moved.

Sewa smiled, "Welcome home," She greeted. She was here to apologise and make peace and she wouldn't mind going on her knees and apologising to him.

The boy had broken her walls and painted her black heart back to red. "I didn't know it was a crime to come and visit my boyfriend? Is it?" Sewa asked.

"From the last time I checked, we didn't break up, did we?" She asked, raising her brows, hoping he'd say something.

Lanre said nothing as he did not make an attempt to move. He was surprised to see Sewa in Lagos on her own and willingly and not begging her to come and spend some days with him. He was sure going to buy Damola a drink for telling him to give her space and make her miss him.

He wanted to run and grab her but he had pride, she really hurt him and said really harsh words to him that day knowing well how he felt about her.

He was expecting her to speak again but she didn't say anything. He walked past her to help her get her box, he carried her box, then put them in his car.

He didn't glance at Sewa while doing so, he walked passed her as if she wasn't there.

Sewa watched him and he walked past her to get her box without saying hi to her. She felt pain in her heart which she knew was because Lanre said nothing to her and walked past her.

"How have you been?" She asked him once she settled herself in his car. Lanre's eyes moved towards her lap, he didn't like the fact she was dressed in a skimpy gown. He had no issues with her outfits but most times he didn't like how men looked at her when they walked around.

He was the jealous type and he did well in controlling his actions. He took his eyes off her chocolate skin and looked back on his road. He parked his car in his parking lot then came out of the car.

Sewa waited patiently for him to open the car, she didn't really like him opening a car for her but she had her reasons for doing so. She was nervous and she didn't know what to do.

Lanre brought out her box from the car, he wondered how many days she wanted to spend with him. He was expecting Sewa to come out of the car but she didn't so he opened the door for her.

Sewa turned to look at him, while he was still holding onto the door, she placed her feet on the floor, catching Lanre off guard she stood on her tippy toes and gave him a chaste kiss.

"I missed you," she pouted, giving him the puppy dog eyes. He was surprised to see Lanre not moved by her actions and that baffled her.

She was always the one that wanted him to move on and away from her but now that signs of that were showing, she wasn't liking it. Was she really harsh on him?  She looked deep into his eyes to see no emotions in them other than a bland look he had.

Sewa suddenly felt embarrassed, never in her life has she been in a situation like this. She hurt him and now she has to apologise to get him back.

She began to wonder what happened to him over the past three weeks because Lanre of three weeks was definitely not the one she was seeing, did her words damage him so badly? She was curious and scared.

Lanre walked ahead of her while she walked behind him, watching his footstep.

Once he opened the door to his house, the warm temperature hugged Sewa's skin, she inhaled the scent of the room, one of her favourite smells in the world.

Lanre stayed in a duplex in Lekki, he stayed alone. Sewa followed him into the living room to see he had changed his furniture, unlike the last time where he had white sofa, he has a brown couch now. A four seater couch placed opposite the LED plasma tv on the wall, two two seater couch opposite each other. There was a small glass table just beside the two seater couch. A mirror was placed on the wall where the tv was placed but was far from it. Sewa's face lit up when she saw it, she remembered telling him to drop a mirror there for her.

She felt the urge to hug him but she didn't want to embarrass herself again. She cleared her throat wanting to break the silence.

"You renovated your house or what?" Sewa asked trying to lighten the mood but the way she spoke her words was foolish of her, she thought.

"It wasn't renovating, just rearrangement and refinishing," he said to her. Sewa frowned, she didn't like the way he spoke but once again she ignored.

"I get it," she laughed as if trying to lighten the mood but it was as if she was making a fool of herself. Lanre was making her nervous just like when she first started to see him.

She was shocked when he didn't lead her to his room, maybe he changed rooms, she thought.

"You also changed your room?" She asked him.

"No." Came his simple reply.

"So where are you taking me to?" She asked.

Lanre stopped on his track, making Sewa nervous as he stopped. He turned to look at her, "I am taking you to your room," he said to her confusing her.

"I don't get you, we always stay in the same room? Don't we?" She asked him, her voice came out soft and weak unlike what she had planned.

"We did, that's true, I don't want you to feel uncomfortable, that's why. This way i will be giving you the privacy I never gave you, right?" He asked.

Sewa's heart sank, she began to feel really bad again. He was using br words against her.

She was more worried because the Lanre she knew wouldn't treat her this way, this Lanre was too scary for her and she doubted if he was her boyfriend.

Lanre doesn't hold words against her, he didn't use her words against her instead tried loving her more but this Lanre wasn't.

Her eyes welled with tears when he said that. She had to apologise to him quickly, she missed her Lanre and not this one in front her.

Lanre wouldn't go weeks without speaking to her, her hunch started to scare her, could he have seen someone better or he found out the truth?

She bit her bottom lips, then she thought to herself, would he have moved on that way and never speak to her if she didn't come today?!
