A/N (kind of important)
I'm not sure how I feel about this chapter :/ but there is a second part um ya. I'm trying to make them longer after next part because it's already been written so ya
Lachlan
I wake up to darkness. I feel around me to feel no Rob making my heartbeat faster. I know he probably just went to the bathroom or something but I get up and start walking around. I find the light switch and flick it up. A soft buzz and Pickering of lights occur but then they quickly turn off.
My eyes slowly start adjusting to the dim light so I can make a slight outline of the short hallway. I walk down in only bumping into the wall once which made me feel good about myself.
"Rob?" I ask into the darkness hoping for an answer from the voice I most want to hear. I hear a scream in the distance. Immediately I break into a sprint and check the whole apartment finding nothing.
"Lachlan help!" I here my sister's voice scream. I run towards it which leads out the door. I hear the voice ring into my ear every so often which makes me only run faster. Tears pool in my eyes wanting to save my sister this time. I couldn't let her slip out of my hands again. My feet start growing number the more I run, but I don't let it slow me down. I arrive at my old house hearing the voice getting louder and stronger.
I walk into her old room seeing Jacqui mouthing "I'm sorry." Tears freely flow from my face as I surge forward, but it's too late. I drop to my knees undoing the knot and holding her lifeless body in my hands. I check her pulse to find nothing. I start sobbing uncontrollably exactly like I did that same day.
"Please." I whisper hearing only silence in the air.
"Lachlan!" I hear someone else scream.
