Jeongin sighed after waiting for ten more minutes just right after he sent his last message to her.
"Maybe she's not coming?" he whispered to himself.
But just when he was about to give up, he saw her walking towards him.
He smiled upon seeing her, the girl smiled back but he sensed that something's different.
So he stood and approached her instead.
"Are you alright?" he asked.
Nayeon forced a smile again. "Yeah. Just tired."
"I've already seen you're tired face and this isn't it." he walks closer and held her hand. "What happened?"
"Jinyoung."
Jeongin knew that it will be bad news just by hearing his name.
"He cut his own wrist." Nayeon continued. "But he's fine now."
She let out a deep breath and hold tighter on his hand, as if she's gaining strength from it. "He was ready to end his life. He's not like this." she said, almost crying.
"I'm sure he'll be fine." he cuppped her face. "He's strong."
Nayeon nodded and looked at his face for seconds before she pulled him and hugged him.
Jeongin hugged her back, wrapping his arms around her waist.
Nayeon slowly pulled away, giving a little distance and looked at his face. "Thank you." she said softly before she leaned to kiss him on his lips.
Jeongin was taken aback for a moment as he didn't expect that but he responded to her kisses, he put his hand at the back of her head and pulled her even more closer.
