"Oikawa, why are you taking me?" I ask annoyed.
"Does it matter? I know you wanted me to take you," He tells me.
"Not, I wanted Akiko to," I remind him.
"Sure, can we talk about the other day though. After our match against Shiratorizawa?"
"What about it, do you still want to yell at me?"
"No, no you don't understand,"
"I think I do, also i'm not one of your fan girls so you don't have to be nice to me. I won't tell people you are actually a real douche bag. I mean they should know, but because of my injury I feel like being a kind person,"
"Y/n,"
"Shut it, look we are here," I walk in and look over at the forms. I pick up a few and walk over to some seats to sign them. A figure peers over my shoulder.
"You what to be the manager?" Oikawa asks sitting down next to me.
"Yeah, I mean why not?"
"That would be great, you are really good at figuring out the other team," Oikawa tells me.
"Mhm,"
BING! I look at my phone realizing I got a text from Tendõ. "Hey how's my fav girl volleyball player doing, get better I want to hang out with you," I start to read it when someone grabs the phone. "Hey!" I yell catching the eye of some other students.
"I was talking to you, pay attention," Oikawa scolds me. I just roll my eyes and grab my phone. "Hey! It says here your birthday is in a few a couple months, is that true?"
"Um yeah, why would I put a fake date on there?" I ask him confused.
"Why wouldn't you tell me, you are turning 18 right?"
"No stupid, 17," I tell him.
"No, you are a third year,"
"Yes and?"
"Wait you are actually supposed to be a second year?" He questions very suprised.
"Bingo, it's not that big of a deal. I just skipped a year that's all," I punch him in the shoulder.
"You should be referring to me as senpai,"
"No thanks,"
"I'm your elder,"
"I guess you are, yet you act so in mature,"
"Oh be quiet," I go back to working on the sheet.
"Now, i'm going to the nurse to sleep, you can go back to class," I reminded him, walking over to the nurse area.
"No, i'm supposed to stay here with you,"
"No you aren't, go get something to drink okay," He walks off and I find a bed and take my nap.
OIKAWA POV
Y/n acted so mature for actually being a second year and she looked like a third year too. I couldn't believe she wasn't actually one. I walked over to the vending machines and got two milks. One for me and one for her. I noticed one of the leaders from my fan club walking up to me.
"Oikawa!" she exclaimed.
"Hi! It's great to see you," I tell her grabbing the milks.
"If you have time, the fan club has wanted me to ask you a few questions, do you mind?"
"No, go ahead," I loved answering questions or reading comments. They were always about how nice I looked or asking where I get my clothes.
"Where did you get that one shirt you wore to the grocery store last saturday?"
"Oh, I think it was a gift," I tell her flashing a sweet smile.
"Okay, how do you feel about that girl?"
"What girl?"
"The one who is famous for volleyball,"
"Oh, she's fine why?"
"Are you jealous of her?"
"What no!"
"Did you hear she has her own fan club?"
"Yes, um no more questions. I must get going," I wave her off and run to the nurses office. I look at the beds and see y/n passed out. She looked so peaceful there just sleeping. I put the milk on the counter next to her and started to sip mine. I pulled up a chair next to her and found a magazine that had a interesting article about volleyball. Once I finished reading that I knew it was probably time for me to head back to class.
"I have to go y/n, also I didn't mean those things I said. I was stupid and not thinking," I kissed her on the forehead and walked out. I was very excited for the practices to come knowing that she was going to be there now.
Y/N's POV
I woke up still feeling drowsy from my medicine, but it was the end of the day. I realized a milk was on the counter next to me and I started to drink it. I texted my dad that I was going to stay after school to see about me being manager.
"Hey Iwazumi is that you?" I asked seeing him walk into the nurses office.
"Oh y/n, how are you?" He asked coming to sit by me.
"I'm doing the best I can,"
"I see,"
"What are you doing here? Are you injured too?"
"No, coach needed some medicine of his own here and sent me to get it. Shittykawa told me all about you wanting to be a manager. I mentioned it to the coach and he was very happy you would want to be ours,"
"That's good, thanks Iwazumi. Do you mind helping me there, I have trouble when I first start walking after a while,"
"Yeah sure," He sticks the medicine bottle into his pocket and leans down to help me up. I grab onto his shoulder and up I go. I hold onto his shoulder for two minutes before i'm able to do it myself. We make it to the gym and I thank Iwazumi. He says it's no big deal and gives the coach the medicine then running back with the team.
"Hi i'm y/n," I introduce myself.
"I have heard a lot about you, i'm coach Irihaya," He tells me pointing to a seat where I can sit.
"Thanks," We talk over about the team and he tells me about each of the players.
"Boys, over here. This is y/n l/n she is going to be joining us, she is very well known in the volleyball world and we should look up to her," Coach Irihaya tells them, then sending the off to do some serve and setting practice.
Practice is finally over, it was kind of long but fun to watch the boys.
BING! "Sweetie can't pick you up at work late, try to find a way home," My dad texts me. Great now I had to ask some boy to drive me home.
I get up slowly and walk over to Iwazumi. Once he noticed me coming towards him he comes closer to me.
"Hey Iwazumi, can you take me home?"
"Sorry y/n i'm not driving home, I carpool,"
"Oh okay," I tell him walking over to Watari. He was in my class and I had talked to him before. "Watari can you take me home?" I ask with pleading eyes.
"Let me see," He tells me.
"No she's fine," Oikawa tells him off.
"It's okay, I can drive her," Watari tells him.
"No, go home i'm the captain," He reminds him grabbing my arm.
"Oikawa it's fine," I tell him off.
"No, stop being stupid," He drags me to his car and I notice Iwazumi walking up and getting in the front. I sit in the back and Kyõtani sits in the back with me. Kyõtani is better known as mad dog though.
"Hey mad dog, you are really good out there," I tell him hearing Oikawa start up the car.
"Thanks," He responds slowly.
"I can't believe you got a car before me. I should have gotten one before i'm much more responsible," Iwazumi mentions. I laugh, knowing he is correct.
"Ugh, Iwa-chan, i'm taking mad dog, you, then y/n home okay?" Oikawa starts driving and we leave the school. For some reason I am nervous about the night that is to come.
