I woke up feeling good. Happy and excited like it was my wedding day. Pop had just released his single 'Meet The Woo' and got signed yesterday night and we've yet to celebrate properly.
Me along with the other bridesmaids had to be up extra extra early to now shower, get dressed and be in hair and makeup before the ceremony.
The groom and his groomsmen slept in a room on the floor below us to avoid any contact with my cousin Anissa and her bridesmaids. She wanted to keep everything from how we dressed and how she dressed a secret.
Pop was coming with everybody. Mike, Fivio, Tjay, Jay and even Obasi. I wanted my girls and Tae to be here with me too. They would all be at the ceremony waiting for us to arrive.
"Who's going in first?"
"I am!"
"Hurry up and don't run out all the hot water!" My cousin Anissa shouts.
"You nervous?" I look to her and ask.
"A little bit. First time and all," She laughs.
"Shitttt i'm nervous for you!" I laugh making her laugh.
"It's cool because soon you'll be in my position too. With Pop and all," Sbe teases making me blush, "You two are mad cute together and he treats you right. Yesterday at the rehearsal I couldn't get over him talking about you two having kids and marrying in the future," She explains.
"Facts," Jasmine says, "Like when did Pop get so soft?" She laughs making us laugh, "You broke him down beba. Forreal. Only female to do it too."
"That's my babyyyyy," I smile and blush, "I love him forreal. But yeah, I remember the first time we met we had this whole three hour conversation about ourselves and life. I opened up to him about Malik and in the beginning when we would be in the studio late at night by ourselves talking and just talking heart to heart forreal just being openly open with eachother like that's when I knew like okay this one's it. He's gonna be in my life forever. Like that's my best friend," I explain as some of the girls tune in to me talking and get interested, "And yah know me I hate these dirty sour dick smelling niggas!" I laugh as they laugh, "But he so different!" I laugh more.
"Yooooo!" Jasmine laughs, "You a whole character bro."
"A whole character!" Anissa laughs.
"Bitch said 'sour dick smelling niggas' and she ain't lying!"
"FUCKING FACTS NIGGAS BE SMELLING LIKE SARDINES AND SHIT AND EXPECT YOU TO TELL EM IT TASTE GOOD!"
"Like nigga, I-am-dying. I cant imagine sucking dick and gagging and them being like 'it taste good' like no nigga i'm gagging cause i'm finna throw this shit up," Anissa laughs as we crack up.
7:45am
By this time, everyone was showered and the makeup artists that Anissa hired to do all ten girls' makeup was here along with Tae who had did everyone's hair the night before.
I was getting my makeup done while being touched up by Tae on my hair as I was talking on the phone with Luce.
"Yeah, Pop's gonna meet you guys before it starts because he's coming with his friends and his brother," I explain to her.
On her end, her and my dad were up and getting ready as well as Papi. Showering, curling her hair and doing her makeup.
"I can't wait to meet him. I can't believe it's been since february you guys have been together and we still haven't met him."
"Had to make sure he's the one before I introduce you guys to him."
"So he is huh?" She smiles.
"Yeah," I chuckle, "He's most definitely my hood fairytale ending," I laugh making her laugh before Tae laughs with us.
"I love them two together, I wouldn't want anybody else with her. Pop is her person. They compliment eachother!" He says.
"I just can't wait to meet this boy!" She laughs, "Your dad either. He's tryna be hardcore right now practicing how he's gonna greet Bashar," She rolls her eyes making me laugh, "Babe, you don't have to wear your badge to the wedding that's uncalled for."
Did I mention, my dad was also a cop?
"Oh my gosh," I look up at Tae and laugh, "Please tell him don't be too hard, I really like this
one. Tell him keep it home!" I laugh.
"I will baby. Alright i'm gonna leave you to be, you look beautiful I'll see you when the ceremony starts. I love you have fun."
"I love you see you soon," I hang up.
"Who's got mink lashes I can use?" One of the girls asks aloud.
"I have some in my bag," I sit up a bit to point to my bag, "In the little pocket."
"Close your left eye for me sweetie," The MUA says to me.
"Thank you Ciela!"
"Your welcome sis."
"Now close both."
As I close both my eyes my phone started to ring again.
"T who is it?" I ask.
"Big Poppa," He laughs taking the phone from me to answer, "Hello? It's Tae. She's getting her makeup and hair done right now. Okay i'll put her on, here," He puts the phone on speaker for me.
"Hey baby," I say into the phone.
"Woo back wassup mama, I just wanna know whatchu doing and how you feeling," He says before the other girls 'aww' making him laugh.
"In hair and makeup right now feeling nervous a little. I feel like it's my wedding day," I laugh.
"In a couple years it will be. Might just have to splurge on a wedding ring when we get right and settled," He laughs as I laugh.
"You just love bothering me," I laugh more, "My biggest headache, what're you doing bab'?" I ask.
"I just got up actually gotta go do a couple
things..ceremony starts at four right?" He asks.
"Yeah, because from like two til three it's like a family party and we're taking pictures. So yeah come like before four."
"Speaking of pictures.. am I on speaker?" He laughs before I start blushing, "I ain't even yawn yet and that's what I wake up to?"
"AYEEEEE BABYYY!" I laugh taking it off speaker making everyone laugh.
"You so fire. Snackavelly forreal. I was like damnnnnn mama got it like that," He gasses me up, "I'm ready to see you now!" He laughs.
"You dumb cute," I laugh.
"But listen that would give me some time to pick up a late gift. I should get them a gift right?" He laughs before he goes back on speaker.
"I already got them a gift and I put both our names on it you're good," I look over at Anissa and Jasmine making them laugh.
"You sure? I could gift em couple bands."
"¡Claro! Sí sí, no hagas caso," Anissa speaks up making everyone laugh.

"Nothing, you don't gotta do that. It's fine, Anissa said it's fine," I laugh looking at Anissa roll her eyes and laugh, "I'm gonna see you okay? Be safe driving here. Oh and make sure you meet my family at the entrance."
"Pressure baebas."
"They're gonna like you calm down.. you'll be fine okay be safe."
"Y'all too! Later."
"Later," I hang up the phone.
"Now why would you say that?" Anissa laughs.
"Because you not using my baby for his money," I laugh.
"Period!" Tae laughs, "Y'all not using her Big Poppa money!" He says making everybody crack up.
