Nia's PoV
"Thank You Abby, see you tomorrow," i wave at Abby and Mia does same. "Sure guys, i will come pick you up at 7:30pm okay?" She asks. "Sure, thats great," i say to her and she smiles before speeding off. "Phew, today has been a long day, how bout we go inside and sleep," i say to Mia and she smiles. "Sounds good to me," she says and we walk inside the house only to find Mom and Dad sitting in the living room watching the 7pm news. "Hey guys, you home late," Dad says as with his eyes still glued to the television. "Uh yh about that, we had to find the perfect dresses for this party so yh," i say with a shrug and Dad shrugs his shoulder still not paying us any heed. "Okay, let me see the dresses," Mom says as she stretches out her hand to take the shopping bags. "Kk, there you go," i say as i handover my bag to her. She took the bag and immediately kept her hands inside and pulled out the dress. She stared at it in admiration before finally straightening it so she could see its full length. "Oh Nia!! This is gorgeous! Damn you are gonna look so beautiful in it," Mom says as she held the dress close to her. "Thanks Mom," i say and she smiles. "And which heel will you be wearing in it?" She asks whiles taking Mia's bag. "I will be wearing my golden three_inched stilettoes, you know the one you got me for my birthday," i say and she nods her head as she straightened Mia's dress. "Oh my babies are gonna be looking absolutely beautiful at the party! Damn!! And Mia, which heel will you be wearing?" Mom asks as she turns her attention towards Mia again. "I will be wearing golden as well, you know cause of my hair," she says and Mom nods her head. "Okay! Well keep them safe okay?" She asks and we nod our heads whiles walking away towards our bedroom upstairs. "Aren't you guys hungry?" Mom asks and we turn our heads towards her. 'Naaa Mom, we good," we say and she chuckles. "Well have a goodnight," she says and we reply back the same way before heading off to our room again.

"Phew! What a tiring day!" I say as i throw myself on my bed. "Yh, tell me bout it," Mia says as she takes out her dress and hangs it up in her side of the closet. "Can you please hang up mine? I'm too lazy to get up," I say and Mia gives me a look before taking my dress and putting it on the rack.
"Imma go into the shower now okay?" Mia says as she steps inside the bathroom. "Sure," i respond to her whiles opening up my phone to see if i got any message and it turns out i had received about five messages from Austin so i quickly opened it to see.
Hubby: Babe? How are you?
Hubby: Are you at the mall?
Hubby: I just wanted to tell you i took my painting from the school today and i will give it to you as a surprise tomorrow
Hubby: Anyways bye! I love you Wifey
Hubby: Can't wait to see your dress tomorrow. Anyways goodnight.
This was what i read when i opened his page. I was just bout to text a reply when i got a message from Margaret.
Mag: Hey Nia, i just wanted to say i am so sorry for how i treated you the last time, i really miss our friendship, can we please go back to being friends?
Me: Hey Mag, uh its okay, everybody makes mistakes okay? Dont hold it against yourself alright? And i thought it was in the past now and of course, we can go back to being besties again. I love you❤
Mag: OmG! Thank you Nia, i love you too, goodnight❤
We chatted for a while before my phone went low battery so i plugged it into the charger and laid back down. "I am done Nia, you can go now," Mia says as she steps out of the bathroom wearing sweatpants and a sports bra. "Kk," i say as i also step inside the bathroom to have my bath.
Once i got out of the bathroom fully dressed in my pj's, i climbed back on the bed and checked my phone to see where my battery had gotten to. When i checked, i had gotten a 35% so unplugged it and went to my WhatsApp so i could reply back to Austin's messages.
Me:Hey, whatsap?
Hubby: Hello, how was your day?
Me: It was fabulous! I wish you could see my dress😌
Hubby: I can, if you show it to me😉
Me: Nope😌
Hubby: Fine😒 i will see it tomorrow then😒
Me: Yep and Goodnight, love you❤
Hubby: Night babe❤ love you more!
I exit the app and replug my phone into the charger before making myself more comfortable on the bed. "Hey Nia, are you excited for tomorrow?" Mia who just got into her bed asks me. "Yep! So excited gosh i can remember this is exactly how we were last year," i say and she giggles. "I know right? I can't even remember what i wore last year," i say and Mia laughs. "Me neither! Was it a versace i wore? Or a dior?" She asks me with a confused face. "Oh i remember now, you wore was it a christian Louboutin? Yes it was, and i rather wore dior remember?" I ask her and she smiles as she nods in response. "Yh yh, that's true!" She says and i smirk. "Gosh i cannot wait to see Abby, Michelle, Elliot and the rest of the students when the Principal calls them up on the stage with them in their graduating robes and caps! Gosh it gonna be super exciting!!" Mia squeals and i join in. "Girls keep it down there!" Mom's voice came from downstairs causing us to stop squealing. "Sorry Mom!" I yell back and Mia and I continue with what we were doing. "Goodnight Nia, if i dont sleep now, i wont anymore," Mia says and i chuckle. "Sure Mia, goodnight as well," i say and pull the blanket closer to me whiles switching off my side lamp. "Can't wait for tomorrow," Mia says excitedly and i chuckle once more. "Me neither," i respond and she squeals lightly. "You know what, just goodnight," she says and i laugh a bit before drifting off to sleep.

"Good morning Mia! Rise and shine," i say as i tap on a sleeping Mia's shoulder. She looks so cute when she is asleep. "Oh Good morning Nia, how are you?" She asks as she sits up straight on the bed whiles rubbing her eyes with a big yawn. "Well that was fast," i say and she chuckles. "I am just so excited thats all," she says as she makes her way into the bathroom to take her shower i guess. "Hey Nia! Did you already have your bath?" She asks from the bathroom and i just shake my head in disbelief. Sometimes, i wonder which side of her brain she sleeps on. "Yes Mia, yes," i reply to her. "Okayy," she says and the whole place goes quiet again.

"Good morning parents of this household, how are we doing today?" Mia asks as she walks towards the fridge to grab some milk. "Hey Mia, how was your night?" Mom asks as she pours herself a cup of coffee. "Better than any other night," she answers as she pours herself a glass of milk with some brownies. "Hey sweetie, how are you?" Dad asks as he also dumps his cup in the sink. "Oh i am good Daddy dear," she responds in an excited tone and Dad just stared at her with a weird look on his face causing me to chuckle. "Well kids, we'll be going now okay? Bye," Mom says as she takes her handbag from the kitchen counter. "Which time will you be back?" I ask Mom and she checks her watch. "Maybe by 6:30pm," she says and i nod my head. "Bye kids, have fun at the party," Dad says as he and Mom walk out of the kitchen with Dad in his suits as usual and Mom in her pencil skirt and blouse. "Bye!" Mia yells as she also dumps her plate and cup in the sink. "I am gonna go set out our dresses and makeup okay? See you," Mia says and runs off leaving me in the kitchen to do the dishes.

It is currently 1:45pm and Mia and I are sitting inside the living room watching television just to pass off sometime. The next show was just bout to begin when my WhatsApp notification went off.
Aubrey: Uh Hello😒
Oh my God! I totally forgot i was supposed to send our dresses to Aubrey yesterday gosh the excitement was too much.
Me: Sorry, i forgot, here there are...
I say as i began sending the dresses to her...
Aubrey: Oh my God😍!! These dresses look totes amaze!! Damn! I wish i came along yesterday, but my Mom needed me so i couldn't😪😫
Me: No biggie, can i see your dress?
Aubrey: Nope! Wait till the party byee!😈
Me: Aub! I thought we were friends😫🌚
Aubrey: We're friends, but i wont show you the dress😏, gotta go now, Mom is calling bye❤🦋
Me: sure😒
I reply back and replug my phone back into the charger and me and Mia continued watching our movie.

Oh My God! Its 4:50pm now and Mia and I are currently inside the room getting ourselves ready and i haven't even showered!! Gosh i am panicking!! "Okay Nia, i'm done now, you can go inside the shower now," Mia says and i sigh in relief as i throw my hands dramatically into the air. "Finally gosh!" I say as i walk into the bathroom to have a shower. "Dont be so dramatic," Mia says from the room and i ignore her as i step inside the shower not before taking off my clothes of course. When i turned on the shower, i was hit with very cold water causing me to shiver and turn of the water immediately. Damn this is cold as fuck!
I quickly regulated it to warm and turned it on again and continued with my shower.
Once i was done with the shower, i stepped out of the bathroom in nothing but a towel and walked directly into the closet so i could dry myself of quickly and begin my makeup which was only gonna take probably 45minutes maximum i guess. "Hey Nia, how do i look?" Mia who just finished doing her makeup looked up at me whiles buttering her eyelashes to make herself appear even more sexier!
"You look fabulous!" I squeal at her and she smirks. "I know, just wanted to confirm. Anyways, hurry up with your makeup, we are running late already, its already 5:30," she said and my eyes immediately went wide. "What! I better start my makeup right now!" I say as i grab my makeup kit and sat in front of my mirror and began my makeup praying i finish on time actually!

Its 6:15pm now and thank God i actually finished my makeup on time, i was so nervous. "Now, lets get our ass inside this dress," i say to myself as i grab my dress from the bed and walk back inside the closet just in time to find Mia struggling with her zip. "Need any help?" I ask her and she nods in responds. "Yes please," she says and i chuckle before helping her pull up the zipper. "Phew, thanks, i was so worried my zip will spoil," she says and i laugh. "Now, help me with my zipper please," i say after stepping into my dress. "Sure," she says as she pulls up mt zipper. "Damn Nia, you look amazing," she says as we admire ourselves in the mirror. "You look fabulous as well," i say to her and she smiles.
Just then, we heard the front door open. "Must be Mom and Dad," i say and together we walk out of the room holding our heels and purses in our hands.
