Dammit... I mean maybe it would be good to have some time apart, we still both have other things to focus on.
I got ready and made myself an ice tea before heading upstairs to go and raid Charli's closet again, I decided that I wanted to do some dancing so I put on a baby blue gym outfit and threw my hair into a ponytail before heading down to the downstairs studio
I put on some tiktok songs to warm up and stretch to before my phone chimed and it was mannnnny mentions on one video...
Payton: no we are just friends... she's cool but I don't see myself with her in that way

I clicked off the video and just one line kept playing in my mind "I don't see myself with her in that way" did he mean that? I know it could have been a coverup but that is a bit far to not be true... oh
I took a mouthful of my water before putting on a random slow song and dancing as hard as I can, putting all of my emotions into the dance, connecting to the song-

I did a few twists before going onto the floor and doing a little floor work, getting back up and throwing in some ariels, breathing heavily as I ran around the studio, leaping around, expanding my arms and just letting my body take over and move to the flow of the music, my hands roughing up my hair before I did a split leap into some floor work, all the sudden I saw 2 figures, they walked in, dancing to the same music as I was before grabbing my arms and pulling me back up, them doing some floor work as I continued letting the music flow through my body, my arms moving around in a swift motion, Charli smiled to me before her and Gemma both got back up, we all did a back Ariel, jumping in place before Charli did a leap, Gemma did a twist as I held my leg up, they both pulled a final pose as the music started to slow, all 3 of us breathing heavily as the music finally finished.
Charli: well that was a nice thing to wake up to
She panted as she took a sip of my drink
Y/n: mhm
I panted back as I held my hips, looking at my phone as it was overcome with more notifications.
I rolled my eyes before turning my phone off completely
Gemma: oh wOw she can turn off her phone
She laughed as she gave me a hug
Gemma: we saw what he said Y/n, he's not worth it
She told me as she held onto me tightly, Charli also joined in the hug
Charli: don't waste your time on something that's not worth it bebe, you deserve better
She gave me a little pet-talk, I mean to be fair they weren't wrong, but there's just something about Payton.
Gemma: okay whatever, we need to go get ready and we can go ice skating or something
She told us as she pushed us out of her embrace
Gemma: go get ready- now
She instructed
We all went up to Charli's room and chose our outfits:
We all decided that the pink sweatpants theme would be cute for today so that's what we went with, Gemma curled her hair, i straightened mine while Charli had her hair in a half up half down bun.
We got an Uber to the mall and decided to go shopping instead since it would be a lot better to clear my mind... but that's when-
Thf: hey Charli can we get an interview?
He asked as he shoved the camera in her face, she smiled awkwardly while me and Gemma stood next to her.
After like 10 minutes of him asking about Chase he turned to me
Thf: and Y/n, Payton explained that you and him are just friends is that true?
Is it true if I murder you I'll end up in jail? Maybe we should test it.
Y/n: uh sure... I didn't see myself being with him anyway
I shrugged
That was a lie but who needs to know that
Thf: he did explain that you might be talking to someone

I smiled lightly
Thf: he also said that you are featured in his Habits music video, can you explain your role in that?
Y/n: oh I don't know- I mean it's out in a week so I guess y'all will have to wait till then
I told him
Thf: do you like anyone at the moment? A tiktok crush or anything?
Y/n: sure
I laughed as I turned to the girls
Thf: does this guy happen to have a name?
He asked as he moved the camera closer to my face
Y/n: yeah but I'd rather keep that private
I explained to him
Charli quickly showed me her phone and it was a notification saying "get Y/n to call me please"
I looked at it in confusion and she nodded
Y/n: I'm sorry, I need to make a quick call, have a nice day
I smiled before walking round the corner

Payton: Y/n, finally... I didn't-
Y/n: Payton look I get it you don't have to like me I just thought-
Payton: no no no Y/n, I do like you, I like you so much you don't even get it, leaving you this morning was so difficult, you looked so adorable cuddled up in my arms, the blanket pulled up to your nose as you held onto my shirt, and today when I had to tell the Fletcher that I didn't like you, baby that was the hardest thing ever because I do like you, I wouldn't say it if I didn't mean it, I like you a lot Y/n
What he said was true- I'm a very adorable sleeper but I was also confused why someone like him would be the slightest bit interested in me, this morning when I saw the video I wasn't surprised, he's out of my league
Y/n: I'm just scared- you're so amazing and also so much more then me, you're just... no one would have put us together
I explained to him, we both knew that hat what I was saying was true
Payton: okay well I put us together and I'm hoping you do, stop thinking that you're not enough, you're everything and more for me, you're perfect
I pouted over what he told me, damn this boy was something else
Y/n: fuck I miss you
I whispered
Payton: I miss you more, but I'm doing something at the moment soooo you need to give me 2 days tops to get this sorted, I'll send you some photos of what I'm looking at right now
Y/n: okayyy
I huffed before Charli gave me a look to tell me that the interview was over and we could go shopping now
Y/n: I gotta go but I'll call you later
I smiled
Payton: okay princess

Payton: bye
I held the phone to my chest once I ended the call and bit my lip to prevent me from screaming
Charli: Y/n come on
She hurried me over
We went into quiet a few stores and I decided to get Payton a little something
I got Payton an iced out bracelet with my name on a little golden plait and another one with his name for me.
It was Charli and Gemma's idea since it shows how serious I am about making this work between us.
Obviously I'm not crazy rich so charli gave me some money ;) but she also owed me since I won a bet last week. Oh the power of having millionaires as friends.
I remember when charli used to be poor, oh those days.

I smiled as I took the bracelets in a bag and we walked into some other stores to get more stuffff.

Y/n: okay so what is it?
I asked over the call
Payton: okay well- I've been looking to move out here recently and I've found a really nice apartment-
He opened his computer and showed me some pictures of the place he was thinking of buying
Payton: it's not too big since it's only for me... and maybe you if you agree to stay over, but it's for an amazing view, an open plan kitchen, the most put together living room and the bathroom is so nice
He rambled on
Payton: so what do you think?
He asked as he put the computer down
Y/n: I could see you living there, and I could see myself staying over some nights
I giggled
Payton: good- but there is some bad news that comes with it...
oh god
Payton: the apartment has a few bids on it already, one is higher then mine so I really need to secure my offer, I'll have the place in a week if they decide to give it to me, but that does mean I'll be out here for a week so we'll have to FaceTime, but I'll make sure to FaceTime you every night and-
Y/n: Payton it sounds fine
I smiled
Y/n: oh also, I got you something... but I'm not letting you see until I see you next
I smirked
Payton: you're kidding right? Baby that's just torture
He whined
Y/n: sure but I'll be worth it, I promise
He gave me a soft smile before I heard Heidi call me downstairs
I rolled my eyes playfully
Y/n: looks like I've got to go
I sighed
Payton: I'll speak to you tomorrow
He smiled back
Y/n: okay, goodnight
Payton: goodnight princess
I ended the call and headed downstairs
Heidi: we're playing Mario cart and wondering if you wanted to join
She smiled to me and Marc threw me the controller
Y/n: sure
I said as I sat down next to Dixie
